We
recently
visited
Mount
Hot
Pools
and
overall,
I
would
rate
it
4
out
of
5
stars.
While
there
were
a
couple
of
areas
that
fell
short
of
expectations,
there
were
also
some
standout
features
that
made
the
experience
worthwhile.
One
aspect
that
didn't
quite
meet
my
expectations
was
the
water
temperature.
I
had
assumed
that
the
pools
would
be
hotter,
given
the
name
"Hot
Pools."
However,
the
water
wasn't
as
hot
as
I
had
anticipated.
This
was
a
bit
disappointing
as
I
was
looking
forward
to
a
more
indulgent
and
relaxing
soak.
Another
downside
was
the
overcrowding.
The
pools
were
incredibly
busy,
to
the
point
where
it
was
challenging
to
move
freely.
It
would
have
been
more
enjoyable
if
there
was
more
space
available
to
comfortably
navigate
between
the
pools
without
feeling
cramped.
On
the
positive
side,
the
view
of
Mount
Maunganui
from
the
pools
was
absolutely
stunning.
The
sight
of
the
majestic
mountain
in
the
background
added
a
beautiful
touch
to
the
overall
experience.
Additionally,
the
showers
and
facilities
were
clean
and
well-maintained,
which
was
greatly
appreciated.
In
summary,
while
the
water
temperature
and
the
overcrowding
were
drawbacks,
the
breathtaking
view
of
Mount
Maunganui
and
the
cleanliness
of
the
showers
were
definite
highlights.
If
you're
willing
to
overlook
the
slight
disappointments,
Mount
Hot
Pools
can
still
provide
an
enjoyable
experience.
Just
be
prepared
for
the
possibility
of
crowds
during
your
visit.
