Food was amazing. Service was great.... although being asked by every wait staff if we were ok was a bit much. Will definitely be going back! Warm and friendly place!!!!

Wow! Service was outstanding and the food will make you talk about it for the rest of your life. Highly recommend burnt leek and mushroom fazzoletti. Don’t get me started on the lamb shoulder; you will walk away wondering how you’ve lived in New Zealand all your life and never tasted the NZ staple so well plated. Keep doing what you’re doing Parts and Service. My heart aches having walked out your door!!!

Very disappointing. We had dined here once before choosing "leave it to the chef" option and couldn't fault it. We had friends visiting from out of town so decided to do the same. 4 of the 7 dishes were seafood it would have been a good idea if the waiter had advised us that fish was the main component. If he had done this we would have chosen our own dishes. The clam was so tough we struggled to eat it, the gurnard was burnt, the buns with cheese were also burnt. 2 of our party found the steak too rare and had to send it back. We did complain but received little in response.

Nice food good service. Small but filling dishes. Great place to go if you want to do shared platters for the table.

Excellent friendly and efficient service. We chose ‘Leave it to us’ as we had dined here and done this before and it never disappoints. We couldn’t fault one dish as all were perfectly cooked, great flavour combinations and really well seasoned. Great wine list to choose from to accompany the dishes too. Can’t wait to return.

They have a good atmosphere and nice service, the presentation on the dishes makes you know the chef prepared so well.

Booked a First Table "Let us choose" reservation for our anniversary. The meal and service was outstanding. Even though I don't usually eat raw oysters I enjoyed the two presented first off, and everything thereafter was a delightful surprise, including steak Diane, a piece of almost blue steak (love it like that) raw fish, chargrilled asparagus with a spinach puree, gurnard grilled to perfection, and we were presented with choux pastries with a rich cream filling as a cimplimentary dish for our anniversary. Wait staff had exactly the right amount of attentiveness. Will definitely return and recommend.

I really enjoyed this meal. The fish was fresh and well cooked ( not overcooked). The fish was served on a bed of leeks and that worked well. The double cooked chips were excellent. Very good service. Definitely worth a visit.

We went for the 'leave it to chef' dining, the experience was great and food were amazing. We were served entrees oyster, clam, beef tartare and market fish and steak as main and a lot more side dishes.

Happy Accident! I was looking for another restaurant in Nelson and ended up at parts and service, and I am so glad I did. Every single thing I tried was delicious! (Food and drink). The service was so good, and the waitstaff were wonderful. And absolute asset to the dining experience. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family.

Had a fantastic evening here. Staff were very friendly and we had the tasting menu. Normally this is a risky option for a vegetarian but the food was incredible, each dish was completely different from the last and every single dish was so so good! Definitely worth the money, you get a lot of food!

Lovely service by nice young girl. Food I am sorry was very dissappointing, one of the less favourable food experiences I have had. Maybe they just had a off night, as all other reviews seem ok.

Absolutely amazing food and friendly staff! The place is buzzing and has a nice atmosphere. We did the trust the chef option and did not regret it one bit! Got to try food I wouldn't usually go for, and found I now have several new favourite dishes :) Thanks Parts & Service Team!!

Outstanding….we had the chef’s choice on a First Table deal and really weren’t expecting much (we eaten here a few years ago and it was pretty average) but the food was really fantastic, imaginative, balanced, different, beautiful seasoned, layered full flavours, subtle pairings, satisfying and great value. The chef has worked here for 18 months and we’d wish we known how good he as definitely would have visited prior. Great service too and good selection of craft beers and a decent wine list. Totally recommended (apparently the chef changes the menu on a regular basis depending on what’s in season etc) and we will be back. Thanks guys for an amazing dining experience… really enjoyed the everything.

So many positives. The scrumptious lemon infused vodka cocktails (tamarillo smash) were stand out. Service from when I walked in the door was impeccable. I ordered the mouth watering lamb shoulder. The sauce was so good I was tempted to lick my bowl in middle of resturant. Menu was outstanding. Mix of shared meals/sides and mains

Went for the "let the chef decide" sadly a mistake, after I said to the wait staff I didn't like fish, every order had fish in it. Was so hungry after not eating anything that I had to ask for some hot chips. The last course was a roast chicken, not something I would ever order at a restaurant! Overall don't let the chef decide, Very disappointing.

We had such a beautiful experience at this restaurant. We did the 'leave it to us' chefs menu and everything was so delicious and delicate and made with love. Great atmosphere. Uncomplicated decor. Service was outstanding yet relaxed. Food was excellent. Home made bread was my favourite. We ordered the set meal and we were pleasantly surprised. Wine list was good.
