Have been to many other Wendys stores .. but this Lower Hutt store is a big let down . Ordered scoop shakes but they added too much milk into it . I have tried scoop shakes in other Wendys stores but this one is like a diluted version of the actual one . I would never try this store again . The staff too were not very friendly .

Very unimpressed that the hot dog which took 20 minutes to make had mould on it. Customer service is terrible. Staff didn’t wait for my full order before disappearing to make the hot dog so had to wait half an hour for a mouldy hot dog, a smoothie and an ice cream.

Wendy's Supa Sundaes use to be thee best place to get a milkshake. Sadly Shake shed is no good at all. Bought two cookie & cream milkshakes for about $10, absolutely flavourless. I mentioned this to employee and if they could add some more flavour or chocolate ice cream to them as it just tasted like milk. They gave us a scoop of chocolate ice cream each and charged another $8 for it?! Almost $20 for two milkshakes? Go to countdown and get a chocolate milk, you'll be 100% better off.

Terrible experiance. Disgusting customer service. They saw my wife been standing Infront of the counter but did not even bother to ask her anything. End up we just walk away after 10 bloody minutes. Just disgusted!

Oh man this place is so bad. The ice cream has clearly been kept at the wrong temperature. The guy operating the place had earbuds in and kept us waiting while he did cleaning/maintenance stuff. There were tubs almost completely empty still being offered, which meant you could only get it in a diminished child size. The whole vibe was so off, like we were purchasing ice cream at midnight on a rainy dock.

I walked past last week and they were smashed and looked to me like they were giving it all they had Ti keep up with a huge crowd. So good on them in my book. When they are quiet I’ll give lithe food a jam.

Me and my friend went to wendy supa sundaes in queens gate mall on Saturday afternoon. It was a hot day so we decided to eat ice cream. Girl behind the counter have very poor customer service. Didn’t look happy at all while taking order. We will not come back for next time. Owner should train the staff how to welcome and serve the customer.

Waited in line for approx 10mins ( which is totally fine) to get to the counter 15mins before closing time. Requested a milk shake for my daughter only for the girl behind the counter to look over at the machine and then come turn back and give a half heart lame excuse that they have stopped making milk shakes for the night. The owner should look to hire staff that want to be there and give value to the business. Next time I’ll send my money elsewhere without the poor customer service and attitude.

Not worth for the money when you pay $ 4.40 for one 1.5 small scoop Ice cream for an adult It's a big ripoff and won't again there. It's the management of the outlet decides how much to serve. Measurable people. I saw an elderly couple simply walk away! It would be cheaper buy Magnum from The Whatehouse upstairs! Nothing great ice cream! Happy to pay if its a Kapti Icecram or some premium quality. I won't feel sorry if I see ” closing down” sign. I give zero star

No staff to attending to customers - this is the second day I had to wait for the young ladies at the back to chit chat before they even notice customers!! Last week one left the area and the other was making her own drink while we had to wait for acknowledgement. Today was the last time I have spend my money. I will go upstairs where I can buy a bigger super shake for less money and where the service is super good. You have lost another customer.
