    I had a bad experience at this Kmart today. During a dog walk today I had a female period related emergency and rushed myself to Kmart to quickly grab some supplies as I’m not from the area and didn’t know where else to go. I found what I needed however when I went to ask to use a bathroom I was really disappointed with the lack of human decency from the staff members, particularly the manager, who I believe was just a stand in for the public holiday. She refused to let me use the bathroom originally because she said they didn’t have toilets, when I said I had already asked another staff member and they confirmed there were in fact toilets but I had to ask the manager, she admitted there are actually toilets but they are staff only. She could very much see I was in a very stressful, vulnerable situation. I quite literally had blood dripping down my legs, meanwhile my dog was just sitting in the car, I was desperate and I really tried to explain and show this, there was no room for embarrassment, I needed help from a stranger. She proceeded to tell me the real reason I couldn’t use the toilet was because it was blocked. I continued to explain I didn’t even need to use the toilet, I just needed somewhere to clean myself up privately to which she sent me out of the store and told me to ask the store next door. I am beyond mortified from this experience. Great store, will always love Kmart, but find yourselves some staff members that actually look after their customers, kindness goes a long way.

    *Updated Review* Unfortunately I lowered my rating from 3 stars to 2 stars due to disappointment from my latest visit. I now believe I have the answer as to why the store always looks so untidy. While half of it is likely from customers that are so messy it leaves anyone witnessing their trail of destruction wondering the state of their home, the other mess is from customers that have had to seek out a PRICE CHECK scanner due to lack of pricing displayed for products. Almost every bay/aisle I saw only had 10% of less of the products with a price label and most of the labels had the wrong product that didn’t match the ticket. Customers are less likely to consider returning the product to where they found it when lack of pricing is the reason they had to remove it from its location. ———————————————- I used to love shopping at this store for the past 10 years, however the last few months it’s seemed to fall further and further behind in customer service. Half the products do not have price labels on the shelf, almost every product that shows as in stock online is missing in store and doesn’t have a place or label to indicate it was ever physically in store to begin with. As a employee in a large hardware store I can’t help but wonder what is going on with management that there seems to be no improvement month after month. I really do hope things improve as I used to love Kmart especially as it is open till midnight. Refuse to give up on this place yet

    Stock levels not accurate, drove across city to collect an “in stock” item, only to be told I Should call ahead next time or come back tomorrow. What’s the point? Barely any staff available, one very busy lady on check out constantly calling for support but nobody coming. People queuing for click and collect then leaving store because nobody assisting.

    Awesome array of t-shirts. All sizes catered for from extra small - 6x extra large. Customer service from staff outstanding. No queue at checkout. Clean and hygienic. Highly recommend.

    I won't even give it a star if there was a option. This happened on 15th july Bought a scooter for my niece when my Mrs told me this scooter is for 7 years plus when I was suppose to get 3 years scooter. When I went to get a refund the cashier questioned me how did I take the scooter out of store when it still has a security badge on it as I didn't even open the box. I showed them my receipt and told them I payed for it and didn't steal and the cashier lady told me we have to see if you are legit cause apparently the person in front forgot to take the security tag out and they accused me of picking a product from selves and trying to get refund. The manager was called a Indian lady who was so rude telling me that there security would have beeped when i took the item out with the tag so they are watching the security footage to see if iam a scammer. My kid was with me who was crying they didn't even bother and after waiting for so long the Manger the Indian lady came and told cashier this item is all good for refund and they didn't even bother to apologize for making me feel like a criminal infront of other customers. That's not all when processing the refund the cashier took my debit card from me saying she also has to do a check to see if it's legit. The cashier and the Manger needs some customer service skill. Pathetic service and not a single Apologies.

    Visited the store today. The fitting room was closed due to too many clothes that are not put back to its place apparently. Annoying. The girl sitting next to the room was on the phone instead of putting all the clothes together. However, many other staff working hard.

    The range is okay, however I'd call ahead as it was abit difficult to find things even though it was in stock. (Maybe click and collect could be a better option?) The state of the store was very bad (sorry) but Clothing & random pieces were just thrown in little piles all over the place :z

    Shambles of a store, always endless queues (not due to amount of people, but lack of working or manned check outs), there's stuff everywhere on the floor and not a staff member in sight to sort it out. The owner must be extremely stingy, not hiring more staff to get better service, prices are cheap but so is the quality.

    Absolutely PATHETIC service from the staff on night shift!!!! We had come in and our keys got misplaced/taken and they refused to show us the security footage. I do not live in Auckland nor do I have family in Auckland so we had said we can not leave the premises but not a single staff member cared. I had asked if they could make an announcement over the speaker to see if anyone had the keys and they refused. I asked another staff member and she had gone back to the first staff member and they begun laughing. IT WAS NOT A LAUGHING MATTER!! we then had brought us an air mattress and a blanket to sleep on the back of our truck till the morning and figure out whee the keys went. The staff had left at 12pm and not one had asked if we were okay or needed any assistance. They had gathered together and we could hear and see them laughing pointing towards us. VERY VERY POOR SERVICE. No human decency what so ever!! Will never return nor spend a single dollar there again!!!

    Visited kmart Henderson 04/02/2023 aprox 6.30pm. What an absolute nightmare!! Had checked online a hour earlier and everything I required was in stock when I get to the store there is nothing that I required. 1 lady was extremely helpful and went to have a look out the back the other 3 lady's I asked for help were extremely rude saying online isn't accurate and refused to even search the product numbers on there scanner stock things!! At the checkout I waited 5min for the 2 young checkout assistants to finsh chatting befor they could come and correct the machine that has replaced them! No smiles no manners just appalling. Im absolutely disgusted in the service at Kmart Henderson!!!!

    Great place to send the Mrs when you want a break. Unfortunately I see a lot of blokes moping around lookn as sad as I do that we’ve been tricked into tagging along on what was suppose to be a 3minute shop, which has now turned into 2.5hrs of telling her “we don’t need that”. Stay up fella’s, I feel ya pain lol

    Check out assistant was so rude and mean to me and my children. I had to go home to find my card she scolded me told me they wouldn’t hold it. Looked at us like we were mud, made my 10year old cry because of how she spoke to us and treated us. I got back with my card waited to complain to supervisor. Confronted me and scolded me again saying she didn’t do anything wrong and her boss would do nothing this was in front of the customers when she saw me waiting for her boss. Was told by manager I would be called back regarding this. Staff member I complained about had laughed saying they wouldn’t do anything and I haven’t heard anything yet. Not happy and I have never been treated this way before. Nasty lady should just work in other departments

    Always out of stock, stock not updated online, however phones are hardly answered so you don't find out till you get there. Staff were very unhelpful, no one knew where anything was or didn't bother to check stock. Was sent on a goose chase around the store before being told the item was not in stock even though it was in stock online. Very frustrating, made a trip from St Luke's because of this, waste of time, waste of gas, useless staff.

    Bit overpriced at times especially clothing, staff are lazy when I ask them to show me where to find something that I'm looking for in the store, They will just point and say over there . Instead of actually showing you because they can't be bothered walking. Or checking on the computer. They don't even answer the phone when you try to call them just to end up driving all the way to the store to discover that they don't even have what you need in stock . And if they do have it in stock they will advertise online that they don't have it , #FalseAdvertising I like how it is open until 12pm . I still think The Warehouse has a better variety of electronics though. And it's dumb that they only have Laybuy available on a app , should be able to do it over the counter in my opinion. Like they have at The Warehouse

    Stupidly understaffed, waited half an hour to talk to someone and they barely had time to answer my question. Wasted gas and time driving there because their website said there was stock of the item I wanted there just to find out it was actually only available on the other side of the city which the website said was out of stock. Employers need to stop putting their staff in situations that are impossible to succeed in. I went to Kmart because I don’t have a lot of money but ended up spending more on gas and patience than I would have buying from any other store.

    I was walking into Kmart Henderson last night with my daughter and saw a heavy piece of furniture, without a word a worker named Marisa saw it was to heavy for me so come over and popped it in my trolley. Amazing customer service from her and I’m so glad she was walking past at the moment. Thanks Marisa your awesome!!!

    Lady on the front door today was legit racial profiling.. stopped me and partner with one item after letting a line of shoppers out who were not white with full trolleys DDoS. she couldn't of been more blatantly biast if she tried. And while she was checking our bag a homeless looking Maori women sets the beeper off and all she gets is a smile..😂😂

    KMart Henderson is not as good as it used to be. Many price checking machines are out of order. Price tags are messed up. It seems they are doing this on purpose, as the tags with lower price are there, but very similar items with higher price the tags are missing. Need better management 😕

    Poor Customer Service. If the receipt is not correctly printed at the self-checkout till and one of the staff members take your e-mail address to send you that receipt electronically, then it has to be sent. Just took down my e-mail address with an empty promise of sending the receipt.

    Have been waiting 6 weeks for a refund from an online order to come through. Have emailed/called customer service several times and keep being told that it's being processed....but still nothing! Don't understand why they couldn't have just refunded me in store when I returned the faulty item. Ridiculous!

    I just wanted to ask about an exchange in size if this store has the item that I was looking for but I've been calling them since yesterday and today, it just keeps ringing and it will just go on for more than 30 minutes,I let it ring hoping someone would answer but unfortunately no. Don't know if something is wrong with their phone but it needs to be addressed. What if you go there and learned that they don't have the product that you're looking for. Having to go a long way for nothing.

    Unfortunately this is one of the worse Kmarts that you can find. From lack of assistants or communication for the staff members that need help in the check out, even during non-peek hours, to frequently incorrectly priced items you will often regret going to this location. Another member of the public had purchased a item at a different store, brought the item to this store to exchange, as it had damage to it when purchased yet was unaware at the time, didn't have the receipt yet had the card and bank transaction of the payment at the other store. The item was taken off the member of the public and no refund or exchange was made as they hadn't informed the security at the front on the way in of the exchange. Only go here if you have no other option.

    Look, everyone loves Kmart, right, and that won't change. I don't even expect a lot from Kmart, but the staff at Kmart Henderson are so rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I went to the front to look for a basket/trolley, and the security guard was so rude. I then asked for help (where baskets were kept) from 3 staff members who were standing together chatting. They ignored me at first, I kept staring at them, 2 just walked away, and the 3rd started mumbling and eventually walked the 2 steps to show me. Another person then asked that staff member where a product was, and they waved them off in a general direction (I ended up helping this person myself). I then asked another staff member where a product was, and he did the same thing. He waved me off in a general area, which was next to no help! Unlike what you typically see, this Kmart was well staffed - It's just that they were all standing around talking, not willing to help anyone. I'll still shop at Kmart obviously but I'll go to the St Luke's one, even though the parking is worse!

    Was leaving the kmart with my 8 month baby in my hands and these two old staff ladies were standing in front of the exit so I had to walk in between them and one of them covers her mouth to whisper to the other one. "Stolen goods on mama" I think she was on something or just irritated because she failed to whisper it to her co worker as I heard her clear as day and she quickly walked away. She obviously thought I was stealing but what she didn't know was that my sister was at the self checkout paying for my things while I headed to take my baby to the car because there were no trolleys left and my arms were getting tired. Unbelievable how rude and ignorant that staff member was.

    Great Shopping Experience at Kmart! I recently visited Kmart and had a fantastic shopping experience! The store was clean, well-organized, and had a wide variety of products to choose from. The staff was friendly, helpful, and readily available to assist with any questions or concerns. I was impressed with the affordable prices and the quality of the items I purchased.     Store is fairly well stocked. Too many stock trolleys blocking aisles sometimes. There were at least 30 of them on the floor. A bit of a safety hazard for the elderly and the those with compromised health issues.

    Visited kmart Henderson yesterday bought some long pants for my husband,they didn't fit so I went back to change them.Wasnt sure of the procedure so walked up to the lady on the till to ask her how I go about changing them,next minute this other woman in a different coloured top came up yelling get to the back of the queue,no pushing in won't be back.

    Always half empty shelves. Shows stock online then you go into the store and its not there. Staff too lazy to look into the storage room. Every time i go visit kmart its always untidy and never have enough stock. Then you see staff walking around doing jack all or chatting or being on their phones. The ones that are doing their actual jobs are the ones at the check outs. Sort it out

    Choosing shoes for everyday wear is hard here. The bottom of the souls gets holes easily. So I am put off buying any foot wear from there.

    Quite good prices, but the shop is a mess! No signs to indicate properly where different categories are. Stock stacked on the floor all over the place. No indication of where the exit is. Pity help the customers if a fire breaks out.

    A popular store and usually has a good range and the items we need at a reasonable price. Very busy on our last visit with a long queue at the checkouts, but it was well managed and moved reasonably quickly.
