Super friendly place, dogs welcome too. Excellent service and good selection of hot drinks. Shame we arrived slightly too late for food. Brilliant atmosphere

Oh my goodness! This place is amazing! The cakes are fresh every day and taste absolutely divine! My partner had a latte and I had a mocha and the milk was steamed perfectly, the staff have definitely had training to craft the most beautiful drinks. The staff were so inviting and had the biggest smiles on their faces and couldn’t have done enough for us. This will definitely be turning into a firm favourite coffee shop and we will be back! The interior is also beautiful as well and you can tell that a lot of hard work and effort has been put in to make this place so beautiful. I wish the owners the best of luck with their new venture.

Went here this morning as we had walked our dog along what's left of the river walk. Called in after taking photos and found it to be dog friendly, superb choice of cakes coffees and or stronger should you so wish. The coffee was delicious, you must try the carrot and orange cake it was superb.

Enjoyed a cup of coffee and pastry for breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere at Not my Monkey. Very friendly and attentive staff. Clearly popular with dog owners as well behaved dogs were allowed indoors.

A rare find…I often pop in to this gem of a coffee shop whenever I find myself in Newark. A stunning location at The Wharf, Riverside and as equally stunning inside. It’s weird I know, but I could happily drink my coffee in the toilet if there was a chair - it’s so chic and unique. Anyway, back to the coffee shop, a great atmosphere, attentive staff and more importantly, great coffee and cake. I highly recommend this place 😋

A very nice, well run independent cafe. Lovely coffee and scones this morning on my first visit. This fabulous cafe is firmly on my places to return to on my trips into town. A well designed cafe, great coffee and food and friendly staff.

Your coffee and chocolate cake were amazing and we like the atmosphere and cosy setting as well as the location by the river. Service was a tiny bit slow and slight confusion with our drinks order and another table but we will be back. Thank you for a nice afternoon.

What a wonderful place! Gorgeous interior, lovely cakes and coffee. Transforms into a very cool bar. One of, if not The coolest place in Newark. Try it and it’ll become your hang out place. Just lovely!

Wonderful coffee shop serving excellent food and drinks. The decor is amazing and the staff are really friendly. The homemade soups were delicious .Highly recommend.
