Wonderful air museum with a variety of exhibitions for the kean aviation buff. 5 stars and the cafe was lovely to sit, have a lovely lunch and a cup of tea to finish off the morning. It's a pity I have to set off home with a long drive back as 3 hours was not quite enough to appreciate the museums displays.

First time I've been to Bewark showground. Easy to access, good parking. Nice level site. Plenty of room. Plenty of loos. I went for Truckfest, lots of good catering, plenty to entertain young old and all inbetween. Would certainly go to another event here

I was my best friends +1 at her works Christmas Dinner held here recently. Great venue and the staff worked hard and fast. The only thing that let it down was the parsnip soup. It was more like pureed baby food than a soup but the rest of the meal was very good.

The showground is actually perfectly fine. It's about an hour from us, we've been to a caravan and motorhome show and now a lookalike festival. This was also ok, the acts were Bowie (shortened set due to the footballl), Elton ( flamboyant, more so than the real one perhaps), Pink ( not my thing but ok), Bon Jovi ( seen a few times, good at what they do), Spice Girls ( best act of the day), Amy Winehouse (shortened set but not great), UB40 ( entertaining), ABBA (surprisingly good) and The Beatles and Queen who we didn't see. Overall as Partridge would say, 7 on 10

Great venue, attended stone dead festival. Very well organised day, onsite staff were lovely and helpful, loads of vendors selling merch and a huge variety of food and drink. Loads of toilets, so no long queues. In all one of the best organised music events we have attended and the lineup was brilliant and the atmosphere was amazing, we will definitely be returning.

This review is based on going here for a wargames show - 'The Other Partizan', 8th Oct '23) Loads of free parking, tho on grass, so if it's been particularly wet lately... wear stout shoes! The venue itself is a really big hall: not as big as 'Salute' @ the Excel Centre in London, but bigger than the Lea Valley Sports Centre (for SELWG) It's got a very nice snack bar with reasonable prices, too. It's let down by having only one set of rather small, tho serviceable, toilets: gents/ladies/disabled. And they could do with refurbishment! All-in-all, I will certainly go back to Newark's Showground for another wargames show, as it has lots of space for lots of games & traders.

Attended Stonedead Festival on August Bank Holiday weekend. The venue was well organised and a great success. We camped the Friday/Saturday and the camping area was clean and well kept. The pre-festival Friday night party was awesome, despite a really heavy downpour, and the ground never got boggy, drainage really good for a very flat arena. Saturday the ground was already dry! The food vendors pretty good and varied, and some small arts and craft vendors as well as the expected merch stall. All very civilised and pleasant, a really great show at a really great venue.
