My boyfriend and I went yesterday for his birthday dinner, and to say we were happy was an understatement! The service and atmosphere was fantastic. The food was also incredible - I was nervous to try the octopus starter because we’ve had it at different places where we didn’t like it but it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal. The small touches for his birthday did not go unnoticed, and definitely added to our experience. The drinks were also great, I especially loved the special that was a fall sour cocktail. 10/10 recommend

Delicious chicken Milanese, dressed with a caper vinaigrette and topped with a generous helping of arugula salad. Reasonably priced wines and good service in an airy dining room. Nice date night destination.

We have had several amazing dining experiences at Luna Stella. Not only is the staff friendly and attentive, but the atmosphere is gorgeous with the brick walls and high ceilings. Some food favorites include the LS Seafood Medley and the Max Attack burger. The cocktails are also on point, especially the La Paloma and Margarita. We will be coming back very soon! Keep up the good work.

Stopped here for a work dinner, shared all the appetizers (the bread and the fried rock shrimp and hamatchi crudo were the best ones). The main I had a lobster papardelle, massage and lobster were good but there was a huge chunk of pasta that wasn't in the sauce but just rolled up and boiled, not enough flavor in that piece. The scallops, I thought the raisin sauce was particularly good. The dessert mousse and apple pie was okay, I like the ice cream so hopefully they can just do that by itself next time.

We really enjoyed our dinner here! Drinks were perfectly made and food was so creatively put together. You can feel the thought, care and time that was invested. There were even several vegan options which is great! The atmosphere and lighting made it really comfortable/cozy and the service was impeccable! Will most definitely return. PS. Our dessert, the avocado mousse (my picture) was AMAZING.

My husband and I came here for dinner and had a wonderful time from start to finish- from their delicious cocktail drinks to the avocado chocolate mousse dessert it was all perfection. I highly recommend dining here if you’re looking for a sophisticated environment with a delectable menu.

Chef Klaus and Adam are crushing it - service is knowledgeable and attentive, food is modern and delicious- ( tuna app - burrata app - venison entree and short rib were some of my favorites from our visit ) and don’t forget dessert !!! Vegan options ( including ones you wouldn’t think could be vegan ) and an extensive offering of after dinner drinks by the glass. Highly recommend and will certainly return!!

I was meeting up with an old friend and decided to try the newly re-opened Restaurant Luna Stella in Maplewood. The service was excellent as was the food! I had the grilled Octopus appetizer and the King Salmon. I enjoyed both. I was really happy to see GF and Vegan options. I have a lot of Vegan friends and we always struggle to find Restaurants in the area that have good if any Vegan options. I'll be back with my Vegan friends.

Fine dining at its best! Food was not only plated beautifully but taste was amazing. We got the beet tartare for appetizer along with a vegetable plate of hen of the wood mushrooms, broccoli and cauliflower that was delicious. Dinner we had cod and Thai basil pesto spaghetti. Outstanding!! Dessert was avocado moose that was to die for. Highly recommend.

Great experience all around! The kale salad was AMAZING - so was the service, atmosphere and live music! We were a party of four and we all raved about everything we ate. Can't wait to go back - there are so many things on the menu I have to try!

I just love this place. I came here for the first time with a friend of mine. We got cocktails (amonkst friends and Luna Stella Old Fashioned). I’m a cocktail nerd and they were both amazing. We got the burrata for a starter, not realizing it was pictured on the menu/ website. It was also amazing. I got the duck crepes, she got the short ribs. Both were incredible. Dessert was port and chocolate lava cake. Again, delicious. I’m literally back here for time #2, halfway through my meal and I love it again. I’ll be back a thousand times.

Really nice place, atmosphere is great. The staff is very lovely, Jason was our server; he was super helpful answered all our questions from wine to food allergy adjustments. We both had the Anaesthesia cocktail, and were very impressed. My boyfriend loved his steak!

Went to a private party here and the food was wonderful and staff was great! There is ample parking at the municipal lot to the left of the building, as well as, street parking. The mushroom sauce over ravioli was delicious, baby kale salad was great. NY strip cooked to perfection. Everything that we ordered was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant in the quaint town of Maplewood! I would make a reservation for dinner on the weekend.

Delicious fresh ingredients which we’re prepared to perfection and the service was awesome too! Plenty of space inside of the restaurant and they do offer outside dining too! We parked nearby and no problem with our reservations. Drinks, desserts and atmosphere all were very good. I highly recommend this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion or to enjoy a delicious meal. My daughter and son-in-law wanted me to taste the food since they went there to celebrate their anniversary. Looking forward to going back again.

Beautiful and fun. Bar was well lit and the drinks were amazing. As a celiac, their menu was great. Oh, try the Octopus-delicious.
