This is the best coffee shop and best customer service experience I have seen in my 20 years in the United States! The quality of the coffee is amazing and there is consistency. The pastries are always baked fresh, and owner and employees greet you cordially and act with professionalism at all times. I can tell the place is very well managed. I have worked in restaurant industry and coffee shops for years so I can tell a good quality cup and pastry! I hope they keep growing the business, more locations and more happy customers!

I've become known to a lot of my friends as the "local coffee pusher/dealer" because of this coffee. Ive had many different kinds/roasts of coffees from all around the world, but for flat out flavor and intensity; you quite simply cant beat Bleu. To give you a experience verbally, I can describe it as a deep flavored coffee with a very distinct aroma that will make you salivate, whether you are taking the very first sip or the last one and wondering when your next cup will be. I've personally tried 3 of the flavors they offer with the Kenyan being my favorite, however I recommend trying them all to see what suites your palate as they all differ. The coffee is very smooth, doesn't have a after taste or that acidic touch that a lot of other coffees do.

Bleu has the best coffee in a 2 mile radius, hands down. The atmosphere is amazing with great music and staff. The staff are absolutely amazing, they are more like an extended family than staff. Amazing business that constantly gives back to the community and has live entertainment when available from weather. Amazing place, glad I stopped by to discover it.

I am a breakfast coffee and croissant guy. Loved that about NY. Checked out this place the first week I moved here. Note sure why this place is rated so high. The staff treat customers like an annoyance. The coffee is so so. Croissants ordered are not even heated. Moved here from Manhattan so I know what’s the price and good coffee looks like. This is not it. (Messed up the order once and not welcoming staff) I would not go back even though I stay right across.

My go-to coffee place! I love that their coffee is fair-trade and sourced from farmers. You can taste the quality difference from other coffee places. Thanks to having farm-sourced beans, their coffee is very fresh with a rich flavor. Best in Jersey City! The staff and owner are incredible, it's also a black-owned business. They put a lot of care into making each drink - each customer matters. They are friendly and welcoming. I bring a reusable thermos (to reduce my plastic use) and they refill. This picture is me and my pup in the summer, they've since moved inside to the Tower Building adjacent to this picture. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I love Bleu Coffee! It’s better than most chain coffee shops (Starbucks included). I’m so lucky that I live close by and can pick up my favorite Honey Oat Milk Latte anytime. Oh and it’s feline approved 😸

I have a coffee machine at home and I still prefer visiting Bleu’s coffee for its exceptional service and peaceful ambience to get my beautiful blend of iced coffee w/ oatmilk and coconut syrup! After having the worst latte experience at dunkin doughnuts where they made my latte tasted like charcoal i stopped drinking espresso based for a bit. Then I found Bleu. 😍 I'm a big coffee drinker and a big fan of single-origin coffees that gives me wild imaginations about coffee culture of where the coffee is originated from. From Kona Hawaii to Ethiopia. From tribes hand-picking coffee fruits to drying the fruit to leaving the skin on or off while drying the coffee to washing coffee and taking the green beans out of it to roasting cofffee to importing coffee to retail... This alone takes passion and dedication.. If you visit Ethiopia or Tanzania for example, you will feel that they take pride of their coffee... NATURALLY FLAVORED from the coffee fruit itself, its origin, high elevation level, weather environment, and the way it was roasted (Not artificially flavor like starbucks or nandas😤) ... I have a strong sense of taste about over brewed or under brewed coffee.. I've been to coffee tastings and visited different coffee shops. And I know my coffee well. And I take it very seriously. Believe me when I say this.... I would drive all the way to BLEU COFFEE (complementary free 30min parking ✅convenience) just to get this quality coffee in Jersey City, New Jersey. Best Coffee I had since 2017 coming from Hawaii (Kona fan) to Jersey (Jamaican Blue Coffee fan) And ohhhhh... They got some OG stunning view... Took my fiance here and had so much fun. Take your coffee and walk around, check out the view outside and get some fresh air. Walk your dog and have some dog social club... 😎 I mean it when I say it... As a remote worker and a Digital nomad. BLEU COFFEE is my new cup of tea in Jersey City. ☕

Fantastic coffee ! Great food and very friendly and good customer service. The team does an excellent job at serving the best coffee around Jersey City. I go there every day for my morning coffee and it is a great start of my day. Good thing is they open at 7.30 am.

The barista was very inattentive and rude. She didn’t even look at us when we walked in even though no one was in line. My husband asked a question about the beans and she basically rolled her eyes and gave a very basic non-answer. When we finally got the coffee, she hadn’t closed the lid properly so it spilled down the front of my jacket. With so many coffee shops nearby, there’s absolutely no reason to go back.

I get my coffee every day at their The Beacon location on my way to work. Great coffees and lovely pastries to kick off your day, and always friendly service. I finally met the owner, Kevin, who’s and absolute legend! Looking forward to go and check out their second location in Jersey City Downtown.

NEW: Changing the rating today to 5 stars coz they deserve it! The guy I dealt with in the past, he remembered me and came up to talk to me when I was around. He offered a complimentary coffee too. I really appreciate anyone who can read their reviews and act on it to make things better, so the least I can do is give them the rating they deserve for the amazing coffee they serve! Highly recommend this place, always did, more so now! :) ---------- OLD: Good coffee, bad customer service. I asked for a coffee with oat milk and got one with regular, which is okay, that happens. I asked for a replacement but was shown the invoice that admittedly did not charge for oat milk and I failed to check it at time of payment, but there's no way I didn't ask for it because I always do since I am LI. It's almost muscle memory at this point. I had to then pay for the additional cup of coffee as well, again, which is okay - I don't want to rip the business off, but I would have liked a not-so-condescending tone and the benefit of doubt that maybe the person taking my order did not hear me correctly. I have written a 5 star review in the past and meant it. The coffee is still good, so definitely can be where you order from, but the customer service could improve.

The food is great. But there is one barista who would ignore the customers(not take their order) while stocking stuff up cleaning the place etc. And he also makes a fuss about making a ham and swiss croissant stating he has to go all the way down to get it and come back. He worked on 6/7/2023. (This ignoring customer situation happened to me 3 times, today being the 3rd) the rest of the staff is great !

Love this little coffee spot just behind ShopRite! Exactly what this street needs, reminds me of a coffee shop in SF, so good, string beans and great pastries! I’m now a regular.

Phenomenal experience! The staff is so welcoming and kind. Beyond informative and patient. The taste of the pastries were amazing and fresh! The coffee was amazing and from Jamaica! They have different origins as well. Me and my little pup will definitely be back.

I come to Bleu often for coffee. Absolutely love their Iced Pumpkin Spice. I had to change from whole to oat milk recently, and they were more than happy to change up my go to order. This place is my go to each time, in wind, rain, thunder and sun. Staff are very friendly and quick! I also love their cookies and spinach feta pastry. Whenever I haven’t had breakfast, this is the spot to get good, quick breakfast while working from home.

I feel so lucky to have Bleu coffee in my building complex! I love their oat milk lattes and the turmeric latte. Baked goods are always fresh and delicious! I also love the staff! They’re like family.

Cafe Blue is a Beacon staple! I've lived here for 3 years and every barista has been amazing. Kevin the owner hiers great staff! The coffee is very tasty! Lots of non-dairy options which is great for me. Now what I really want to talk about is the croissants. Holy moly, I don't know what kind of sorcery they put in them but the best croissant I've had in my life. Buttery, crispy, soft, flaky. Need I say more? Well I guess I'll say one more they. The brie and ham croissant is divine.

The coffee and pastries here are AMAZING + the barista’s are always happy to serve anything on the menu so you would want to get coffee all the time (if not everyday)! Also the location has such a relaxing ambience. You would love it! 😊

BEST COFFEE IN THE WORLD! Been drinking coffee since I was young, and I never had cold brew as good as Bleu Coffee's. Starbucks, Dunkin, even La Colombe do not even compare. It's soooo smooth with a hint of sweetness rather than acidity or bitterness. Wish we could get this stuff in other coffee shops and retail stores!! For now, online and in JC will have to do.

What a hidden gem! Located in the lobby of the Beacon, Bleu Coffee serves fantastic Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee....strong, powerful, yet so tasty! I had a flat white paired with their flourless fudge brownie and oatmeal coffee- can't tell you which I enjoyed more as they were both delicious!

This place has the best blueberry muffin I ever tasted! All the pastries looked delicious. Dope beats playing when I walked in too. Lili the barista made me feel really welcomed and she was mad chill! Good vibes from her. She made me a awesome pumpkin spice latte. I would definitely come back!

I've been living in the Beacon community for over 5 years now. I was elated to learn a quality coffee shop was opening in our community because I look for more than just caffeine in a coffee and never think of buying coffee from the deli. Bleu Coffee is a friendly and solid-quality business. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable about is varietals and it shows. When I want to step out of my home to get my fix without having to leaving my community, I'll always look to Bleu Coffee first.

I love popping by Bleu Coffee when I can. Everyone is always courteous, kind, and friendly. Sophia, Eduardo, and the manager Kevin are the best. The coffee is fresh, the baked goods are delicious, and they have these new vegan wraps that are a great addition to the menu. Every time I go by I’m never disappointed. Highly recommend.

The taste of the coffee is amazing. I got a strong small black coffee and I liked it. Plus their machines are making a good coffee.

Not only Bleu has become my go to place to get the best quality beans I’ve found, but also a place to shared my love and passion about coffee with their friendly and knowledgeable staff. In the past few months, Bleu has continued to evolve and grow. Not only their coffee is superb, but also their tea, hot chocolate, pastries, and vegan wraps. Keep up the amazing work.

What a Treat! I happened to be by The Beacon and the aroma enticed me into having a cup of coffee. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the Nicaragua coffee and friendliness of the staff. I even purchased some of their whole beans to enjoy at home.

This is no cookie cutter coffee experience. Bold and tangibly different flavor experiences, yet smooth and powerful. Nice kick in pants to start my day and/or keep me going. Cherry on top...the overall experience with Bleu Coffee people are positive, inviting, and enthusiastic. They care about the coffee and you. Maybe next time I’ll fill a Camelback so I don’t ever run out. “Challenge Accepted” says my ticker.

Great coffee in jersey city! They make their coffee strictly amazing. Creamiest cappuccino ever! Coffee espresso not too sour and not too bitter brewed perfectly! Would also recommend their Vanilla Matcha with Oat Milk 😤

The cold brew is very tasty. Smooth and nutty. And great roast on the beans!
