Fantastic new pizza spot on Abbeydale Road. Crust is thin and delicious, really delicious high quality ingredients, very very good value for money. Lovely outdoor seating area, and indoor decor creates a lovely atmosphere. The family who run this place are great, a real local gem.

Lovely evening, wonderful owners and staff and absolutely delicious pizza. The pizzas were superb and the owner went out of his way to make sure I got a dairy free dip to go with my my pizza once I ordered the vegan cheese alternative. My husband's pizza (which came with the parmesan and mozzarella) also looked and smelled fantastic. Pizzas were huge and so good that my husband ate all his and finished off mine too! Such a nice place and the staff are lovely. Fantastic music quietly playing in the background too! Good choice of beer and wine too. Will definitely go back!

Exceptional pizza. Quality, hand made and perfectly cooked. We were fortunate enough to spend the weekend in Castleton and stumbled across Dough Truck Pizza. Wow wow! Best pizza this side of Italy hands down (including all the pizzerias in London). Sally was a joy to deal with and can’t wait to go back!

Thank you for your hospitality yesterday. We arrived at 4pm an hour before opening but despite this we were welcomed to come in and have a drink whilst the pizza oven was fired up and by 4.30 we were eating delicious pizzas served by the delightful Amelia who produced books and toys for the small children who by this time were tired hungry and fractious . Such a lovely vibe here. Family run business. So welcoming and open. Pizza is amazing too! The waitress knows lots about the wine and ingredients they offer. The best service I've experienced in a while. Prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of ingredients. You can ask for any toppings on your pizza rather than stick to the menu which is great. Definitely recommend.

Really delicious pizza, all made fresh which meant if like myself you have dietary requirements, adjustments could be worked out without it being a major issue. The limoncello spritz was so good and in my view an excellent pudding (but they have actual puddings if you have a sweet tooth, which from what the table next to us had looked nice). The service was great, staff really helpful and friendly.

What a wonderful pizzeria! Especially if you want something different than the fake politeness and pose of some of the city centre pizzerias. The food was wonderful, authentic, full of taste! You could tell straightaway that it was prepared with love, by someone passionate about what they do, using top quality ingredients! The service was excellent too! Very polite, friendly and efficient staff, knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients. The atmosphere is that of a family owned restaurant, which this is anyway, but with a modern twist. Very bubbly, with discrete music playing in the background that pleasantly adds to the ambience. All in all, we had a fantastic experience. You definitely get your money's worth, considering the very reasonable prices!

Both the pizzas we got were really delicoius. The toppings all tasted fresh and the dough was excellent. We also got a good tiramisu and a lemon and ginger Our Cow Molly ice cream, which I definitely need to buy again. The service was very good too.

Last night was our first visit to DTP and we'll certainly be going again. We've visited Italy several times and I would say it's the best Pizza we've had outside Italy and better than some we've had over there. Small, casual restaurant, service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. We can't wait to go go again. Thank you for a lovely night.

Dough Truck has fast become our favourite pizza place in Sheffield; food is always delicious, staff couldn't be nicer and prices are very reasonable. Great choice of drinks and sides/desserts are an added bonus, in particular, the (home-made) tiramisu is beyond spectacular

We're lucky in Sheffield to have some great pizza places and we have a couple of other favourites we rate highly. Having been to DTP a few times now, we probably have to edge them into first place. Great friendly customer service and quite likely the best ingredients and cooking. Our kids agree!

Fabulous food and a lovely warm, friendly venue , we shared burrata salad and Salsiccia e Friarelli pizza and it was as good as we’ve eaten anywhere. Wonderful fresh ingredients, distinct and interesting flavours all served up with a friendly ambience. Will definitely be returning for more, the only difficulty being which pizza to have next.

Family run pizza restaurant that is a real gem. We’ve been here multiple times dining in and out with pizzas in an authentic Naples style. Dairy allergy not an issue with vegan cheese. For a casual family meal, Dough Truck Pizza will bring a taste of Italy-a must try in Abbeydale Road!

Came here for a work Christmas event and had one of the best pizzas I have ever had! The place has a great atmosphere, and the staff were so friendly and provided excellent customer service. Will definitely be returning soon.

Authentic 12” tasty wood fired pizzas. I had the Meridio (v) - £10. Service was prompt and we didn’t have long to wait. The menu includes the option to have dairy or vegan cheese. My only negative point was that my pizza wasn’t as crispy as I like. Maybe another a minute in the oven would have done the job.

I ordered a pizza online for pick up. I was in a rush between two appointments, and my pizza was ready exactly on time with a text to confirm. It was piping hot when I received it and very tasty. Highly recommend. Great service and great pizza.

This was amazing pizza, the best pizza iv had..... .tried while staying in Castleton .. Shame I live 150 miles away or I would be a regular. We loved the pumpkin base pizza... 🎃 Hopefully we see you again soon

We had a lot of hungry mouths to feed on a recent camping trip and not only did they wait patiently as I ordered 19 pizzas with a variety of toppings, but they delivered them to us on the site within half an hour. They were so friendly and the pizzas were delicious. I really recommend them.

We visited last night for the first time and will definitely be back. The pizzas were absolutely delicious and right up there with the best we've ever had. They're generous with the toppings and use quality ingredients, it shows. Lovely atmosphere with very friendly and accommodating staff. Had the Napoli Salami pizza takeaway and it was great. Experienced staff using quality ingredients is a simple formula and deserves success. Eat in has nice atmosphere too. Pizza, salad, beer and relax.
