Great place to stop off I84 in New York. We used to live in this area 30 years ago and missed this type of dinning experience. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Make sure to check out their mural of the "8" wonders of the World. We make it a habit to stop here when we are in the area.

I’ve been coming to Alexis Diner my whole life. The food is delicious, comes out fast, and there’s something for everyone. The staff is friendly and attentive. I ate here as a kid now I come with my own children. Definitely somewhere I will come to time and time again to make more memories.

Not bad.. the desserts up front look phenomenal but i didnt get the chance to try it. The french toast was pretty good, very crispy and they gave me ample butter and maple syrup. The fries from the patty melt are realllyyyyy good. Top 10 fries ive ever had. The coffee didnt taste good at all though, it was watered down. The decor is really cute and vintage looking. I especially like the booths they have. The bathroom is also nice and everything in there uses a touchless sensor which is nice

We’ve been here twice now, and both times it has taken us longer to decide what to eat than it did for us to be sat and to get our food once we ordered it. They have an awesome menu with plenty of options. The food is excellent, and it always comes out nice and hot. The staff is super friendly and the owner is awesome. We will 100% be coming back next time we’re in Newburgh.

The food was good and was served with generous portions. I got the Alexis burger (turkey) with sweet potato fries. The place was pretty packed at 4:00 pm. It took slightly longer than I would have liked to get seated, but the food was worth it. No wonder there was a crowd! I definitely recommend this diner. The waitress, Christina, was very friendly and gave us excellent service.

Went here a few months ago and just now I review this place. Went with the family for a good old breakfast diner experience and overall it was good. The service was pretty good, quick, accurate and kind. Good atmosphere also. I had the Garden Omelette with potatoes and toasts, they were good. If im around on another time I will definitely visit this place again 👍.

Classic dinner vibes. Keep your expectations realistic, and you'll be satisfied. The food quality was kinda low (proteins chicken/ roast beef etc) but the sandwiches weren't too bad. The mozz sticks needed seasoning, the sauce tasted like ragu, and they came on old wilted/oxidized lettuce, but we weren't trying to eat the lettuce underneath haha. Sandwiches were okay. Service was decent. Waffle fries for the win. Would come back

Stopping randomly at an unknown diner usually turns out to be a mistake but not in this case. First time visit was impressive. Food was good and service was outstanding. Will definitely stop by (planned, not random) when I'm in the area in the future.

Waitress was very courteous and when I had an issue with a entree, she took care of it and removed it off the bill

Stopped here on the way home from a trip. Immediately got a table even though it was a busy Sunday morning. Food was great and the waiter was very attentive. As we were paying, we saw some delicious baklava in the dessert case and had to get a piece. The cashier gave us a piece at no charge! We will be back again for sure!

Beautiful clean diner. Staff are always friendly. The place is clean and a nice calm atmosphere. Food is delicious. Also so many desert options you can't leave without trying something. I recommend the Bavarian cheese cake or just the cheesecake in general. The disco fries are also a must.

Got a really hurried in/hurried out vibe on a Sunday. Found the breakfast menu really limited (no smoothies, yogurt/granola, lighter/healthier fare). Ordered a side of blueberries for pancakes and they came out frozen and shriveled. Quick to be seated but very long wait for a breakfast sandwich and pancakes. Would not recommend.

We stopped here on the way to Storm King on a recent Monday morning. The service was memorable. We were warmly greeted, immediately seated and our gentleman server was very polite, personable and returned to the table several times to fill our coffee. Beyond that, I can't say that the food here was anything but average. First, I was shocked that the menu was extremely limited for breakfast. Any diner would offer a full menu at any time of the day. Here, it was a single double-sided menu with mostly breakfast items. I had a 3-egg omelet which was pretty good. We had fruit salad as well. The coffee wasn't anything spectacular. I will say that the black and white cookie I purchased from the display case was pretty darn good. In all, not a bad place to go to. Very friendly service but very limited menu, at least, for anyone wanting anything besides breakfast.

I used to work in the Hudson Valley 7-8 years ago, and the Alexis Diner was always one of my favorites for breakfast. I was in the area today after many years, and they are still great. The staff is very friendly, the service is fast and attentive, and the food is second to none. The spotless dining area and restrooms show that the folks at the Alexis are serious about making this a great experience.

This diner offers 5 star service. Staff was super polite, food came quickly, and staff checked on us often. Wings and turkey club were very good. I do not recommend the cookies. I have had cookies twice here. Both times they were dry and crumbly. Pretty good cocktails.

Awesome food. Great service. Our server Debbie was busy and still had time to check on us, making sure our drinks was full. Didn't want to write this cause I'm honestly keeping this spot to ourselves. Try the bery spring salad w/ grilled chicken💯

Wanted brunch after an out of town for a hockey game, one of the moms picked this place. I worried we wouldn’t get a table for 20 ppl so we called ahead. When I called I was told first come first serve. They don’t take names or call aheads and it was a busy Sunday morning so the wait may be about 30min. That said upon arrival we waited maybe 15 minutes tops. The manager greeted me at the door and asked me if I was the one that called. I told him yes and he did in fact save us two large tables that fit our party perfectly. Service was good. Food came out fast. We were able to make our next game on time. I highly recommend this spot. The grape leaves were amazing!
