Small but peaceful spot with nearby parking and facilities. The ocean pool is a nice option and the beach collects plenty of shells after a storm. With a playground and benches it's also kid friendly. Some stretches of sand are steep so pick your spot carefully.

Look it's quiet out of holiday period, nice for long walks and there is salt-water pool that tops up every high tide, 3 might be harsh but it does blow alot and picks up lots of kelp in easterly and southerly blows of which can last for weeks, great place for kids playgrounds nice little fresh water Creek and for the adventurous a few surprises if you go for wander. Bring your own coffee ☕️ though.

Awesome beach. Nice gentle surf, ideal for body surfing and families. Patrolled beach, and great amenities close by.

Nice walking path from the river to the beach, also easy walking to the pool. The beach was was very clean, a bit of sea weed around, but was ok, great for families. lots of parking for off season, but too crowded on season.

Gorgeous beach with a playground and BBQ area. It was disappointing that the last people to use the BBQ did not clean it. I had to spend almost an hour scraping off and cleaning burnt marinade. Please be considerate and leave the BBQs clean for the next person 😊✌🏽

Nice enough though holiday traffic gets a bit busy. Good trails from the lookout around to whale watching station.

One of the best beaches in the Manning Valley region of the Barrington Coast. Black Head Beach is a multi-award winning beach under the Keep Australia Beautiful Program. It is patrolled during summer and regarded as one of the best swimming beaches in the Manning Valley region of the Barrington Coast. It features shady Norfolk Island pines around a pretty lagoon, an ocean pool, excellent fishing opportunities, picnic areas and barbecues. Hallidays Point village has a small shopping precinct, bowling club, pub, restaurants and takeaways. There are excellent beach fishing opportunities and a pretty picnic area with barbecues under the shade of Norfolk Island pines that line the entry to the beach. The lagoon that separates the sand dunes to the village centre is one of the many beautiful features of the littoral rainforest nature reserve at Black Head. Meander along the rainforest walk behind Black Head Beach which encompasses striking coastal landforms and rare tracts of littoral rainforest, a must for nature lovers and keen photographers. Don't miss the purpose-built whale watching platform for expansive views along the coastline. Black Head is also home one of the biggest markets in the Barrington Coast, Black Head Bazaar, which happens on the first Sunday of the month from September to May.
