Dr John Ella studied with me at Newcastle University and was one of the top in the batch and and is a wonderful doctor. I've consulted John for a personal health matter and has received the best care possible. I haven't come across many clinicians with such excellent skills in many facets of medicine and surgery. John could have trained in any field he wished to, but his empathy and patient oriented care has made him a great GP, which I strongly believe is the toughest medical profession out there. To be good at most things, and Dr Ella certainly is that and more!

Julia is a highly experienced, kind, and compassionate psychologist. She is easy to talk to and very professional. She is also very knowledgeable, intelligent, and easy going. I highly recommend her. The reception staff are also nice and easy to talk to.

I would recommend Doctor Ella 100% I avoid visiting doctors unless absolutely necessary, but I have always found Dr Ella to be extremely approachable and very thorough.

My Phone appt with Dr John was punctual, I needed more scripts, John asked the appropriate questions, he then sent them to my phone. he asked was there anything else I needed, there wasn't. John is an exceptionally thorough Doctor and caring.

All of the doctors I’ve had here are wonderful- but it is extremely hard to get an appointment, even as a patient that’s on their books. Whenever we have been sick, we have never been able to get an appointment and always had to go elsewhere. It’s a shame because the doctors here are amazing. I only want to warn people how insanely hard it is to get an appointment here. If I’m sick, too bad, go without for 2 weeks (by which point you’ll probably be better, just suffer a lot) or go elsewhere. I’m pretty sure GPs are required to keep a certain amount of appointments available per day for urgent patients to maintain their AHPRA registration? This is why people are taking their kids to ED instead.

This was my first visit with this clinic and Dr Erin Carroll. I will make it my regular doctor for sure! Reception was lovely, Dr Carroll was so thorough and efficient, we were able to address all of my issues and start a plan for future visits. Also, great art selection!

Love this clinic. My husband and I both go to Dr John Ella who is the best doctor we have ever been to. We highly recommend both Dr Ella and the clinic. It is such a relaxing experience.

Dr Ella is extremely thorough, explains everything in detail, has brilliant listening skills and empathy. Suggests alternatives if there are any and makes you feel comfortable. In addition to a great GP, Sophie and Margaret on the front desk are friendly, obliging and efficient also. A great atmosphere where your health is the priority.

I had a very first good impression. Sophie made it easy for me to register as a new patient, considering that I didn't have my physical Medicare card with me. She accepted the electronic version provided by my.gov.au Dr John was of great patience, help, and understanding. I have been to this clinic once before about 3 years ago and nothing has changed. When you walk in the receptionist is cheerful and polite, waiting time was about 5 to 10 minutes. It was again a pleasure to see Dr Ella, there is no doubting his knowledge and experience. Furthermore, he is just so easy to discuss anything with. He leaves you with a feeling of confidence.

Dr Ella's practice is professionally run from the moment you walk in the door. I found Dr Ella to be extremely knowledgeable and thorough during the consultation process. Absolutely brilliant doctor! I would highly recommend him. If only he had a better receptionist! Lady at reception is very rude, unhelpful, and often gets transactions wrong to top off the terrible experience you have with her. Have tried many times to over look this as Dr. Ella is brilliant but unfortunately now changing doctors due to constantly bad experiences with her including inappropriate and unwarranted remarks during my dealings with her. Very dissapointed.
