Made a booking just before the Xmas break with friends to catch up before the holiday season. The food was fantastic! We came here specifically to eat their Singapore Chilli Crab with the buns (as you can see, we ordered a heap of them!). Another favourite is their Scallops (this time served with Black Garlic Sauce) - call a couple days before to ensure that they can get the best available seafood for you to avoid missing out! Have always loved the food and service here and it is quite obvious from this review that I would definitely go back to eat again. Thank you for the hospitality and amazing meal!

Went to the restaurant with a friend last week as they have a lot of Gluten-Free options as my friend suffers from Coeliac Disease. We ended up having their laksa and it was superb! The broth had a lot of flavour and there was plenty of meat/toppings to enjoy with the broth Upon speaking to the owner Phil, he mentioned that he had made some Hainanese Chicken Rice earlier - and I immediately ordered some as takeaway for the next day (even took the time to try plate it :) ). The Chicken Rice was full of flavour and it reminded me of Singapore. The Ginger and Shallot sauce was quite literally the best I have ever had. (Which is saying a lot as I used to eat this dish in Singapore 4-5 time a week when I was living there) Am looking to come back to have some more of the Chicken Rice!

RIP-OFF! RIP-OFF! RIP-OFF! Recently 7 of us had dinner at Taste of Tang (Oatley Chinese & Malaysian). The dishes we ordered from the menu were normal Sydney pricing and the food was average, not bad but nothing to rave about. We had also decided to order some Malaysian dishes that weren’t on the menu. HUGE mistake. Okay, perhaps we had to bear some blame for not checking the prices before we ordered; but since the other menu prices weren’t outrageous, how far off could other dishes be? Crispy chicken on the menu was $25, our off-the-menu crispy chicken with a red fermented beancurd sauce (sauce on the side) was $88! We already ordered too much for 7 as it was (9 dishes including desserts), and I feel like the restaurant deliberately shoved unreasonable number of servings in the off-the-menu entree and desserts in order to con an appalling amount of money from us. 14 pieces of otak otak @$8.8 for $123.20 and 42 pieces of sweets @$3.5 for a whopping $147.00!!! To be honest, the desserts felt like store-bought and reheated in the microwave unevenly, hence some had a runny centre and some didn’t. The total spent on the night was nearly A$600 !!! The way they swindled us, it was criminal, the owner should be jailed for this.

Very nice meal. Food is fresh, tastes like "home cooked". Potions are really generous too, I ordered two sides of rice and will probably eat rice for days. (picture of sweet and sour crisp pork loin dish, NOT full size).

Best food in Oatly hands down. Good atmosphere great people and just good servings. This place is defenilty for the lovers of spice but even if you dont like spict food its still a great place to go. Singapore crab is the best dish followed by the lemon lamb. Well priced and the dessert is to die for. Strongly recommend to try this place out.

Friendly staff and food was amazing! Portions were also super generous, can get a little noisy and a long wait for food if there is a big party group on the next table but we didn’t mind it too much.

Over priced. $25 for a plate of bean , sum choy pow with four lettuce leaves $28. Will never recommend this restaurant. It is a big rip off.

This was my 3rd time coming and honestly today was the best experience I've had. I let the waiter know that im a celiac and have hyper sensitivity to gluten. As we were finishing up our delicious food, the owner Phillip approached our table and spent quite some time taking our feedback from our previous experiences to ensure everything was completely gluten free. He was extremely nice and clearly cares so much about his customers. My mother and brother also dined with me and found the gluten free food amazing. This is a place that is a must try for all celiacs!!!!

High quality Chinese food made by a person that cares about their product. Prices are a bit higher than most Chinese restaurants but they use fresh high quality Australian produce which unfortunately is more expensive than the imported stuff as we were told by the owner. Happy to support a business that both supports Australian suppliers and takes pride in their work.

Unexpectedly amazing and shockingly delicious. We haven’t had a chance to really taste authentic Chinese Malaysian cuisine before but I was very delighted with the choices we went with. We stuck with the rice theme and got char kway teow, nasi goreng and Singapore noodles with some chicken satay. The curry spiced chicken grilled over charcoal was smoky and creamy crunchy peanut sauce had such a delicate but complex flavour. I liked the sweetness in this style of char kway teow. If all Malaysian char kway teow tasted like that, then it’s my favourite version. Their take on nasi goreng was savoury spicy and delicious. The curry spiced Singapore noodles was uniquely different and it was also very delicious. Generous portions and even their fortune cookies were yum! Definitely coming back.

An absolute weapon of WOK, portions are extremely generous and the flavours that will flashback on your dreams. We randomly picked this place, we purposely fell in love. Will recommend everyday of the year.

Don’t use them through Uber eats. Second time the order has been done - waited an hour and then cancelled at pint of delivery. Not sure who is to blame but if you cannot fulfil an order as a restaurant, don’t take it, waste an hour and then mess people around. Make sure you know how to fulfil your business otherwise don’t offer it.

Haven’t found gluten free food this good before, totally happy with the taste and 100% trust that my coeliac kid can eat here. Can’t wait to go back. Would give 6 stars if possible!

Also known as Taste of Tang I had their Vegetable Tofu Hotpot after speaking to a second server and clarifying that I wanted it vegan, and having to double check they understood. I was pleasantly surprised by the meal they served, although it wasn't in a hotpot, it was piping hot to eat, with lots of fresh veg (baby corn, wong bak, broccoli, zucchini, green beans, carrot, shutaki, straw mushrooms, black fungus), water chestnuts and freshly deep fried silken tofu, the only fault was the zucchini was a little under. It was a very large serving and I could have taken half home, but it was so delicious, I ate it all.. If I was in the area again I would definitely have it again. It was fairly easy to find on street parking on a Friday night and we were seated upstairs. Felt safe that the restaurant was pretty covid compliant.

Small and bustling, everything you want from an asian restaurant. Family owned and since the owners son has taken over this restaurant has come alive. The food is unique, unlike many Chinese restaurants. This is not your copy and paste menu. If you havent tried this place you should.
