We attended last week during school holidays to see a show. Parking is available at the EAT Street carpark and about a 5 minute walk. Also if you show your ticket when validating it gives you a $10 credit towards your parking. The theatre is very clean and there was plenty to see and do. The show was a lot of fun for young and old. A great experience

Riverside Theatres is legendary and I used to go there all the time when I was on the Board of Parramatta Chamber. It's a great spot and we had tons of events there and more. Staff are great, you have good parking options around and I must get back there for a show!

I'll start my review with the information I couldn't find anywhere before visiting: yes, you can eat inside the theater! The Riverside Theater has many venues on the same building, so I'm talking about the venue called Riverside (don't know about the others). This venue is about 1h away from my house via public transportation. Our show was during the week so it was going to be very tight to get dinner after work and prior to the show. As I looked at the event info, venue rules, FAQs... everywhere, and there was no mention of food, we ate something quickly before arriving. But it turns out that yes, you can eat inside the venue! So hopefully this info can help other visitors. I saw both - people eating stuff sold by the theater and just take away from other restaurants. The venue was clean, nice, friendly staff, informal vibe. I'd come back! In terms of seating area, the venue is quite small so anywhere you'll have an ok view. But if you're undecided between the middle rows of the main bottom floor or the upper seating, the main floor is much better. We were able to check out both, compare and choose.

What a beautiful venue!! Have been here before but never reviewed this place. Went here again and attended the state ceremony. The venue is beautiful and right at the start of the eat Street. The theatre consists of three auditoriums with ample seating and a refreshment counter. Extremely friendly staff, will maintained theatres and really clean restrooms.

Comfy spacious seats in the theatre with clean bathrooms. Staff were friendly Kinky boots show was fantastic. Talented singers and dancers and great costumes and background set. This brought back great memories from our time watching it in London.

I watched Friends the Parody at the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta and had a great time. The parking wasnโ€™t too far away and you get $10 off with your theatre ticket validation. The seating in the theatre wasnโ€™t too bad. The seats were comfy and the view from every angle was ok.

This musical theatre, while relatively small compared to some of the grand venues in town, serves as an excellent destination for children's musicals. Its prime location adds to its appeal, making it easily accessible for families seeking a delightful theatrical experience. However, there's a notable downside that could deter parents with young ones: the parking situation. Parking can be a major hassle, particularly when attending with children in tow. The limited parking spaces often leave parents circling the area in search of a spot, which can be quite stressful. It would be a tremendous improvement if the theatre could provide designated parking spaces for moms, acknowledging the unique challenges they face when attending family-oriented events. Despite this parking predicament, the theatre itself provides a cozy and intimate setting, ideal for children's musicals. The smaller size allows for a more intimate connection with the performance, making it engaging for young audiences. The quality of the productions is generally commendable and well-suited for kids. In conclusion, this musical theatre, while small in size, is a decent choice for children's musicals due to its location and intimate atmosphere. However, addressing the parking issues, especially for parents, would greatly enhance the overall experience and encourage more frequent visits from families with children.

I love spending time at my local theatre. Over the years I have seen many wonderful performances on the various stages - including my own children. All staff are delightfully friendly and helpful and it's always a pleasure to be with family and friends enjoying the space.

I had an absolute ball at the Marcia Hines concert on Friday night. Riverside is a nice little venue, and the staff are all lovely, but I would like to particularly thank Gail for looking after me on the night. Thanks Gail, I really appreaciated it.

Love how they have added a nice court yard to mingle in before and after the show/films. Plays a lot of foreign films you may not to get to see anywhere else (on the big screen). I really enjoyed the Swana film festival here.

Went to Shanghai Mimi tonight and its an amazing, wonderful performance with spectacular acrobatics and great Jazz music. The international cast gave a dazzling display of their talents which delighted everyone and I was left wanting more. An awesome show from a talented cast and crew. Bravo! I loved it!!

Easy access and pre-booked mobility parking made the check-in easy. Pre-Show drinks at the courtyard bar. The theatre is well set out with seating in a gentle curved inclined pattern facing the stage. All seats having a great view. I thoroughly enjoyed going to Riverside Theatres Parramatta, thank you.

Lovely theatre right on the river as the name suggests. I visited here for a Sunday performance. There was free parking available on the street in the front which I was pleasantly surprised about. The bathrooms were large and clean. The seating layout was great too. Would definitely visit this theatre again when the need presents itself.

Attended the opening night after 2021 Covid lockdown. A bit of a queue to get through the doors as vaccination statuses were checked but the staff were lovely and friendly. Current restrictions limited ticket sales so there were two empty seats between each party. Only downer was the incorrect entry signage out on the street due to the light rail construction.

Wow! What an experience! Lighting, acoustics and staff were amazing! The performers? What can I say other than they are absolutely amazingly talented! #CruelIntentionsAu Havenโ€™t been in years but sure as heck would go back time and time again.

Such a great location and the staff are motivated and helpful. It's a shame that it isn't used more for headline acts, such a fabulous place. Go for a walk by the river afterwards, it's great too

Venue ok. Roads to and from a nightmare now with lane directions changed. Venue seating were rough at best. Not comfortable for a 2.5 hour show. Felt very claustrophobic too. I wonโ€™t be back. Show, Mousetrap, was ok.

Even do I been there only twice I enjoy the shows, there is big changes around with the construction of the tram that is not finish yet, there is a new Hight rise buildings, lots of restaurants a nice park, the river, and not far from Parramatta Westfield's, shock by the homeless find in my walking from there that is the gate out from the train, that is something not seeing 30 years ago and still to be done some work along the Church street from Westfield's to the theatre, but the theatre itself is a good place to go

My first visit to this theatre and was greatly impressed. Nice theatre with medium capacity (700+?), good sized stage. Good view from all seats at ground level and with two level balconies. Beautiful location by the river side and great restaurants just 2 minutes walk. Loved to be here for SwaraLaya , indian classical music programs for 2 days .

Fabulous theatre. Every seat has great views, many nearby restaurants to wat at before or after a show. Central to the hub of Parramatta.

The theatre was beautiful, the performance that took place used their space seamlessly and was well worth the ticket. The atmosphere outside of the theatre itself was chill and the employees behind the bar couldn't have been more friendly.
