Sydney is saturated with Lebanese style charcoal chicken so it's a welcome relief to still find a traditional rotisserie charcoal chicken joint. Charcoal chook, good chips and gravy - some of life's simple pleasures !

Always love to come here for their charcoal chicken and chips! Very crunchy and delicious...probably one of the best chips around here 😊 Only one disappointing thing was that they charged me 30 cents extra for eftpos. NOTE: There was a sign that said that there's a 30 cents surcharge for all efptos orders under $10. However, I've spent over $10 and they still charge me the 30 cents!!! They charged me in total $15.80 that's including the surcharge. It's a bit deceiving to be honest 😠 Also it was a simple instruction that I've requested them to cut the chicken wrap in half...nope they didn't do that for me.

The food is clean and fresh. Freshly cooked and salads are prepared in the morning. The shop is often busy and you can be kept waiting for service, but not long. They are efficient and serve fast often with a friendly face. They have a cold drink cabinet, cook fish, chips and chickens are baked on the premise. They have snitels, baked potatoes different type of salads, dressings. There is also tables and chairs to eat in.

Tasty, moist and fresh chicken. Chips and gravy was good, although I wish they didn't pour the gravy over the chips right away and make the chips soggy, they could put the gravy in a separate container especially for takeaway. Minus one star because the mac and cheese was pretty bad, I could only get through half of it before deciding to just throw it away. Then again it was near the end of the day, probably would taste better if it was fresh.

Top shelf charcoal chicken with friendly staff. Always happy to see you, polite and great service. Chickens are tasty, nice size and good for a couple of meals or one big one. Had an awesome chicken snitty roll and gravy, highly recommended. Will keep coming back.

I can't recommend their hot chips highly enough. The chicken is also great too! On the salty side, but juicier than all other shops.

Renowned across Sydney for a reason, simply the best hot chips you will ever have. The chicken is also really high quality, a very reliable meal.

I have been eating at this place since 2005, and it is still to this day, the best hot chips I’ve ever had. I cannot stress how signature their hot chips really are, the chicken salt etc. You will not be disappointed. As for the chicken, stuffing, and lemon herb/garlic sauces, they are out of this world. I appreciate their consistency throughout all these years and I’ll be devastated if this place ever closed their doors. On a seperate note, the only thing I wish they would work on is their customer service. Often at times, they are quite dismissive, rude, and not that friendly. You are losing and will continue to lose valuable customers, as many before me have mentioned. It would be significantly beneficial for their overall reputation and business if their customer service was matched to the standard of their food, of which is what has essentially made them so successful over all these years.

Fast service as per usual. Juicy and perfectly roasted chicken. Extra crispy chips that are twice fried.

Truly worth the 5 stars! Chips cooked on the spot, ceasar salad was the best I've ever had! Staff were polite and welcoming.

I've come here countless times when I was younger, but over the past year it's been very disappointing. After being served these horrendous tasting and looking hot chips, I will not attend here again. Charcoal Chicken Campsie, frying your chips over and over again and serving them to customers to save time and money will begin to cost you customers. Be better.

Have been getting chicken here for over 30 years and though I live nowhere close I will cross the city for their chicken, cream potato and chips and gravy. It’s the freshest, best seasoned, juiciest, best cooked traditional charcoal chicken in Sydney. I hope the family never give up running this shop. It’s amazing. (Though I wish they’d open Sunday nights, so you can grab dinner on the way home from trips.) I always buy more chicken than we need for leftovers the next day - sandwiches, salads and pasta bakes are amazing with their chicken.

Ordered a whole chook which ( was pink ) Ordered a large chips which the oil tasted like over a week old.. I'm down a days wages and sick!!! I'll never go back and tell anyone who tells me it's fresh chicken

I would rate 3 star because the burger was nice but I am not happy with the fillings in the burger the chicken slice is too small and instead veggie was lot in chicken burger I think you need to make the chicken size bigger for the chicken burger

The BEST chicken & chips in town. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you try this place. You will not be disappointed.
