Terrible service, If you try to book an appointment on the phone you will either be told to call again another day or the call won't even connect. The receptionists have shown that they do not care for patients, the only appointment I was ever able to get was a 10 minute phone appointment after 9 days of calling every morning at 8am. Easier and quicker to sit in the walk-in center for 6 hours.

The worst GP surgery I’m surprised they even have time to respond to the reviews because the response means nothing since no changes are being made. For so long people have been complaining someone has to do something. NOT RESPONSIVE. Are they effective? ... Are they caring? ... Are they responsive to people's needs? ... Are they well-led? My experience have lived in Brooklands for the last 4 years whenever I call for appointment the phone voice will tell you to use DR IQ and when you ask the reception they will tell you not to bother with DR IQ it doesn’t work half of the time or it doesn’t work at all and they will say use Systems Online instead. Does Systems online work NO even if you log in at 7am you still can’t book an appointment. Let’s talk about the phone you call at 8am you are number 30 something in the que and you stay on the phone nearly an hour only to be told we don’t have any appointments left please call 111 or go to A&E. If this GP practice has large number of patients why they can’t even people to answer the calls. Whoever is managing this place don’t have a clue what they are doing. NOT WELL LED NOT CARING, NOT EFFECTIVE. Brooklands community we need to make an effort to have them removed. I’m going to write to the MP, the Councillor and CQC. If there was a half star I would give them half

I suffer with my nerves and was laughed at and belittled over the phone whilst trying to make an appointment by a member of staff today. I was reduced to tears. I sent an email with my complaint for numerous other matters and nothing at all happened. I phoned up to voice my complaint and they said I have to put it in writing which I did and HAND DELIVERED IT. This was three years ago. I gave up eventually. I am scared to go to the doctors. My health has suffered drastically because of the staffs behaviour. If I could go to a different surgery I would. God knows I have tried. Looking at other peoples complaints I can understand why they are complaining. Giving the surgery 1 star is far too generous I think…

Useless I seen better surgeries and good staff around the area . This needs to be shut Waste of tax payer money. Rude staff and never listen your concerns fully and repeat talks like roboat. You called them for appointment 8 o'clock morning first for 30 minutes they don't bother to answer and when someone answered straight away saying no appointment fully book call tomorrow or call 111. Never worked with NHS app. If you request something over the app you get response to call and book appointment and when you call they says call 111. Bloody make and feels public stupid.

Just like others have said this practice is completely unprofessional. If this was a commercial organisation they would have long gone out of business The processes in place for making appointments or getting prescriptions are shocking. I used to think that this is normal of any surgery but having spoken to a close family member who has long worked as a receptionist in various surgeries, they too are shocked at the treatment. Literally the response to everything is ring up at 8 in the morning for an appointment with the doctor, and even then you’ll be lucky. I once called 111 and they said I need to urgently be seen by a doctor within an hour and they are referred me to the GP. I rang and they said they can’t see me and must go to hospital. I rang 111 back because I couldn’t get to hospital and they said the GP must invoke their emergency procedures and get a duty doctor to call me. I rang the surgery back and explained only to be told ‘sorry there’s nothing we can do’. I made a complaint to the practice manager once and got an apology phone call after a few months but absolutely zilch changed. The most worrying thing about the practice is mistakes made with prescriptions or refusal to give repeat prescriptions for long term medication which is dangerous to stop. When they screw up they sometimes apologise yet don’t do anything to help resolve their own mistakes and you are left to pick up the pieces.

So i contacted the surgery on Wednesday 15/06/22 morning regarding my 3 yrs old daughter who could not walk, complaining of pain in her right leg. the receptionist didn't show any empathy, shouted at me 'cos i could not hear her. yet i pay tax. as if that was not enough, I was told a doctor will contact me between 3 pm and 5 pm. the Doctor beeped my phone once at exactly 16.34 and did not bother to call again. I honestly do not understand why this surgery is still open ?! highly disappointed in that doctor. I am sure that doctor as a child yet he/she could not be bothered. What an appalling experience!

I don’t normally leave reviews and I do understand there are pressures on our health service. However as this is my local GP centre and I don’t fall into any other catchment area, unfortunately I am stuck with this site. I have no choice. -You cannot get an appointment unless you call/online at 8am these go very quickly and sometimes cannot get an appointment anyway. -When you get a message from the GP service to say you need to book an appointment you are told you need to call up at 8am and hope that you get one. -I had to have urgent bloods taken recently the quickest appointment I could get was 2weeks when I turned up it couldn’t be done because nobody communicated with me that it was a fasting blood test. This appointment was rearrange and again cancelled by the surgery (for reason unsure) then the only appointment available was a 5week wait. I collected the forms myself and got the bloods completed elsewhere. -My test results have also gone missing, an ECG could not be found. -Cannot get to see a GP, it’s usually a nurse / paramedic ect. Even though you know it’s something you need to see a GP for. You go through the process and eventually end up seeing a GP. Time wasting. -I have had an appointment book turned up to the site, waited and waited, spoke to reception and they stated the GP had gone home! -The place is not cleaned regularly. I used the bathroom facilities at the beginning of the week on a cancelled appointment visit. There was dried brown something on the soap dispenser. A later visit I again used the same facilities and the same dried brown something was on the soap dispenser! Dust and dirt in the stairwells/rooms. And just has a general grubby feel. -The staff are not friendly at all. You are made to feel if you ask a questions it’s a massive issue. There is no people skills at present by most staff. Staff will argue with you and this was witnessed in the waiting room with another patient asking for some advice. Big attitude issues with staff! -I have asked on occasions to speak to the practice manager. They are never available, the won’t come out and speak to you. Reception staff will email them. There is always an excuse. I have even left my number to the practice manager to call me back, they never did. I hope this is review is helpful for both patients and the organisation running the GP centre. Something needs to improve. We know operose health have been on the national news on TV and naturally it all went very quiet. GP practice please do not respond to this review like others previous to this. It doesn’t mean anything. You need to start listening to your stakeholders.

In March I handed in letters from previous consultants so I could be referred locally. It is now December and the referrals still haven’t been made to my knowledge. They lost my letters and asked for them again in June. They were provided with them electronically and I was told these would be sent to the doctor so I could be referred. This didn’t happen. When I chased again I was asked for the letters a third time. This was October and I made a formal complaint. This complaint has gone unanswered and is now well beyond their own guidelines to answer, there has been no holding reply either bar the automated response upon receipt of the complaint. I have chased it three times to be told I will be contacted by the practice manager. Still nothing. The lack of care, competence and communication is astounding. I have given one star based on recent contact with a pharmacist at the surgery and a nurse who were helpful and competent. I don’t believe sharing this review will in anyway lead to any fruitful contact from the surgery but I hope others will consider using a different one if possible.

I have been trying to get an appointment for the past 7 days, I call them every morning sharp at 8 and yet my call is always in the waiting at above 30. I stay on hold for more than 40 minutes and after that I get told that there are no appointments left and go to the emergency or call 111. If this is what I always have to do to go to the emergency then whats the point of my local surgery. My daughter had not been well for the past few days and I also have been chasing to change my prescription for almost 2 weeks now. I suffer from Hiatus Hernia and I have been really struggling for the past few days but my local surgery don't even care. The receptionist tells me to call at 8am which I have been doing for many days but yet unable to get any appointments. Shame

One star is being very generous with this health centre. The ability to be able to get a meeting with the king is easier than getting an appointment here and then when you do get an appointment they claim you didn’t answer you phone even though no attempt from them was made. How is someone actually meant to care for their own health when the system of GP surgery’s like this let you down. I get that NHS is over worked but you can not honestly tell me that a surgery that is open 12 hours a day, every day, is unable to effectively maintain a good level of care to the people who need it. Disgusting excuse of health care support, needs either more GP’s or less patients and then start again.

Recently moved to this practice as advised by local to do so. Well not sure what the point was. firstly they messed up a prescription for my daughter so I had to chase that, then today, my son who is not even 4 has had a fever for 4 days and woke up with white streaks on his tonsils couldn’t even get an appointment. I called dead on 8am and whilst the receptionist was polite enough the fact that they ‘ don’t have the staff’ to see a child is disgusting. Changed surgeries to actually be able to see a doctor and I am yet to be able to see one. Seems like another useless surgery

I've never had a bad experience with this surgery, I can see many 1 star reviews and feel personally it's not that bad, I've definitely had worse. Pretty much get an appointment 8/10 times I've called. Reception staff always polite, helpful or apologetic if they can't cant help on an occasion. Doctors always always caring and professional. I've witnessed people behave very rudely to the staff here, but I've only witnessed them doing their utmost best. Tough times for medical centre staff, they deserve more respect and ideally pay!

Gave myself plenty of time for my twelve mile journey. Entered post code, then address, but my one year old car's SatNav had no location listing! Missed appointment, despite contacting a very helpful receptionist at MK University Hospital! I suspect this might be a new facility? If so, I wonder why no map was included in the appointment?

Called to add pharmacy to my profile so I can collect repeat prescriptions. Apparently she can't find it even though same pharmacy added to my son's profile. She wouldn't let me provide details and wouldn't let me speak to finish sentences. Then put phone down on me. Absolute incompetence and arrogance! Apparently her name is Mia who answers when you press 2 for prescriptions. Real name or not I'm not sure. Made a complaint but doubt whether anything will happen. I've met good doctors and even receptionists at this practice. But above person is so incompetent and arrogant! People like that should not be in such positions.

Booking an appointment is near impossible, can not book in advance, and for the past few days I have rang at 8am when they open, and waited 30 minutes in a queue to be told there are no available appointments and would have to call back Monday morning to start all over again. I have never had this issue with other surgeries, really is appalling.

I don't know what's wrong with the service if it's the fault of the NHS or the terrible call center. If you want to make an appointment and you call 8:15 am for an appointment your chances are zero. 8:05 in the morning your chances are 50%, 8:02 you can be successful if you are lucky of course. Asking for a prescription is paranoid. You call at 8 am - you receive information: please call after 10 am. You call after 10 am and you will be told you need to apply via email. After sending the email, you will be informed that you need to make an appointment with the doctor at 8 am. And history repeats itself over and over again - it's no longer funny, it's starting to be pathetic. The same applies to patient care. There are very nice ladies who you can see that they are very helpful, but part of the crew comes to work for punishment, often indifferent and not nice service. If I could, I would gladly change the NHS Centre, unfortunately it is the only facility in the area. Nice building mean nothing, if service is bad. Regards

The quality of service provided by the GP is extremely unsatisfactory! I've been making daily calls at 8 am for my 4-year-old's ear pain, only to find out that all the appointments are booked by 8.15 am. Furthermore, they requested us to send pictures for the doctors to assess the condition, which we did, but it has been 2 weeks and we still haven't received a response.

Yesterday came back from the gp appointment we made without treatment. Even though we arrived 10 minutes before our appointment, we waited for more than 1 hour and those who came after us left and there was no one in the rooms, but we continued to wait. I asked the reception twice but couldn't get a proper answer. I didn't have time to wait that long. I had to go back to work. Unfortunately, I had to leave without treatment. My first job will be to change my gp.

I had a medication consultation call with Sunny (pharmacist). He was very polite and helpful. He explained everything in detail and gave me really helpful advice. I am very thankful to him and everyone at the surgery and NHS. Thank you so much for all your kind help and support.

I have been to Brooklands health center on a number of occasions since moving to the area. The receptionists have all been very helpful and the doctors and nurses have been wonderful. Calling to get an appointment sometimes takes some time but then a lot of people use the service. I have never failed to get an appointment within a day or two.

Do not join this Doctors as it is not fit for purpose. It is run by an off shore company, it has no catchment area so is massively over subscribed and rarely has more than 1 doctor working. You can never get an appointment no matter how urgent. I have now moved my family to another surgery on the advice of a medical professional at the this surgery.
