Worst gp in Milton Keynes. Don’t give out appointments. Takes ages to get through only to not get an appointment. This GP is a joke! They wouldn’t help you even if you were desperate! You can call at 8:02 and they’ll say they have no appointments waste of a medical centre do better

My mum is a patient here and recently fractured her femur. From discharge she needed more medication to help with pain and injection to prevent clotting. I put this through on the bank hols Sunday, and then called the surgery on the Tuesday to advise only had 1 injection left. She said don't worry I will put this through as urgent. I tried to call on the Wednesday no joy but then mum called on Thursday morning still not done and would be done as emergency, afternoon went to chemist still not done, called again will be done end of day, then went at 6pm and still wasn't done. I was so upset and decided to sit in reception and advised i would not leave till had been done. The receptionist finally got the GP to do this and from getting prescription had a nightmare getting the injection which took me 5 chemists to find had in stock. I just wonder how concerned this practice is about their patients as the don't seem bothered

The level of incompetence displayed by some of the admin staff at this surgery leaves much to be desired. My husband had a surgery in 9th December last year and a follow up review by the consultant was required for 27/04. Consultant sent the request and sat in their inbox without us being notified, we only chased it up by a phone call at that point the receptionist apologised. The specific instruction from the consultant was to forward the results of the blood test once completed via the same request email. Hubby went for review today only to be informed PARKSIDE have not delivered results as requested as such the appointment has to be rescheduled. Honestly!! This is someone’s life we are talking about here. For pity sake .., a review of cancer surgery. I mean can’t you read and follow simple instructions. I’m so furious ! PARKSIDE please deal with these your staff.

The telephone line is always engaged even when you go in person to the reception you don't see them on any calls but the line is engaged (8am - 8:30am) and when you get through, they tell you no more appointment for the day. They wait until your condition get worse before they can book you to a face to face appointment. I had to register to another GP. I don't advise anyone to register in this GP surgery, if you love your health.

I had one visit with Dr. Flo following 6-7 months of a medical issues which really started to effect me mentally. This doctor gave me the attention and correct advice and seemed invested in my issues to help me get better. On my follow up visit today, when i told the Dr i was all good, the smile on her face showed me she is one that really cares. Thanks to all the staff as well who took my calls and showed genuine care when i explained my problem.

Parkside is not a practice i would recommend. In over 10yrs at this practice the only response i got from my gp Dr Minnie was give up smoking and he is anti smoking and an seems to think every illness will be cured if you give up. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE

Think the receptionist just hung up on me. Totally disgusting and staff need to be trained in the art of dealing with the public. I wouldn't mind if I got angry with her but I didn't... some advise love, if you don't like working with the public then I suggest a career change, it's that simple.... as I don't think you're in the right role.

One of the worst GP in UK. Blood sample given for blood sugar test and next day got a call from receptionist saying 'Sample vial got spoiled so it's unusable'. Gave sample again and received the same report again that 'Sample has become unusable because they delayed it sending to pathology lab'. Urine sample was also given along with blood sample and now received another call 3rd time saying Urine sample also needs to be given again because the sample given previously is spoiled and has become unusable. This practice needs a serious review from NHS.

Absolute joke of a service call up at 8am the the phone being busy Tey Ingatestone and consult and get told they hav reach the limit at 7.35am (the online service opens at 7.30am!) And then when I call up I'm told to go walk in centre, I registered at this surgery as my family doctors not to the bloody walk in centre. What is the purpose of the building when you don't engage with patients and tell them to just go walk in centre.

I don’t call unless I really need to.. called today and tried to do the online engage.. nothing as usual. Got told by a receptionist to go and sit at the walk in centre. Last week tried to call for my child who was throwing up for 7 days +.. they weren’t interested again told me to go and sit 5 hours at the walk in centre with a child constantly being sick. This used to be a great surgery as have been with them since my son was a baby. Unfortunately it has massively gone down hill. We have now moved doctors surgery’s.

Useless. Can only call to nook an appointment at 8am? Why? What logic is there? Asking me to confirm my identity with my previous number like I just have that at hand? Unhelpful. Really need to change my medical centre.

Today I have called from 8am till 10:49am a total of 552 times and engaged, can't get through and no online consultations left. No wonder the walk in centre is so busy and A&E if this is how all doctors are at the moment

What a joke the phone lines are! You try your best to make an appointment at 8 am and there just no point of even trying, you might as well stand and bang your head against the wall, might be a great doctor surgery but you will never find out because you can never get thou to make an appointment

Diabolical place! How it hasn’t been shut down I don’t know. The majority of the receptionists are so rude and talk to you like you’re off their shoe. The doctors are rude and unhelpful. Genuinely the worst doctors we’ve ever had. The council need to investigate the practice, because it’s less than diabolical.

I started as caller "number 5" in a queue to speak to a caller navigator at 0800. Its now 0830 and I'm caller "number 4". I wouldn't have thought an average consultation with a Doctor takes more than 10 minutes so why does it take so long for a "Caller navigator" to process a request for an appointment? Is anyone actually answering the phone?

Couldn’t do my blood test as they “didn’t know what type I needed”. Instead of calling me and notifying me, they waited until I arrived at the surgery, marked me in and told to sat in waiting room. I got called in by the girl who supposedly was doing my blood test, when I asked if my partner could come in she turned around and said “so the thing is I can’t actually do your blood test today”. Not the slightest morsel of sympathy. I understand it is not her fault specifically but would have been nice to had been notified before I travelled there and met with a very blasé attitude.

Have been trying to book an online consultation since over a week and it keeps saying its reached its limit. I have no idea how else I am meant to get in touch with the doctor for health issues. I try calling and that's constantly engaged too. This surgery has gone downhill.

Just shocking. My little 6 year old has an ear infection and they prescribed pills ? Was the wrong meds just shocking. I have had so many issue with this doctors can never get hold of them they cancelled my appointment without telling me. It's always empty in there yet they say there fully booked up and go walk in centre. Just shocking definitely avoid.

I'm not one to post reviews- I've been with parkside for 2 years now and I must say every time I phone and speak to any receptionist, every single one of them has been extremely helpful. I used to be at westcroft surgery and in comparison with them - parkside are 100% better. I'm seeing all these 1stars and negative reviews about parkside and I have no idea what they are talking about. If you are genuine and polite you get the same back. Every time I've had issues and problems they act fast and effectively especially with my little ones. 100% the best GP I've been with.

Was with parkside when they opened 2004 when they had Dr Minnie Dr cave Dr Munro you could get appointment s with in few days now it's a waiting game then when you get a appointment go to the surgery theirs only five people in waiting area rest of the chairs are empty so how can the appointment s be fully booked the receptionist s are good had no issues with them booking appointment is a joke just feels like your a conveyor belt next one please you've only got five mins do think parkside has gone down hill now not like it use to be .got no issues with staff etc just the system it's stupid .am ex military I'd rather see a military Dr why it's all about caring for your patience taking time to listen to the patience list goes on unlike a civilian Dr .

Have been patient here for 5 years. Must say that the reception staff are lovely, always very kind and gentle sometimes in the most challenging of circumstances. Hit or miss with the GPs though, some are lovely and some I find patronising and dismissive, but I recognise that it is a challenging and stressful job. I’ve still to really work out/understand how things work here - the processes seem to change or be different each time, the website is confusing and the engage-consult system is pretty inaccessible and is only ‘open’ for limited times each day. I find the best way to speak with them is to go to the reception - trying to phone is impossible, and the engage consult system is very sketchy. Overall I am happy with the practice though, and in times of need they have always come through to support. Thank you again to the reception and management staff, you are much appreciated.
