I only stayed for one night, but I was 101% satisfied with everything. My partner and I arrived quite late (past 11 pm) because of a delayed train, but we were met with exquisite kindness. The room (a double) was wide, clean and warm, equipped with tea/coffee making facilities (including complimentary cookies), a microwave, cutlery and dishes, a hairdryer, a fridge, and plenty of hanging space. The venue was very quiet. As a non-smoker, I really appreciated the entire hotel being smoke-free. Check-out is at noon, which means you do not have to rush to leave the room. I would definitely consider booking again here next time I am in Milton Keynes!

Lovely location, quite hotel Clean basic room with a good view of canal, was woken in the morning by the ducks. A Chinese and Hamburger takeaway round the corner was a surprise reasonably priced, we tried the hamburgers and was really good. Breakfast was nice and tasty pity it was only available from 9am. Overall experience was great for a business trip overnight

Lots of little things make this place a joy. Decent sized towels, fabulous power shower, friendly pub right next door, fridge, ironing board and well laid out and nicely decorated rooms. Coupled with all the big things that are important, wonderful, friendly, helpful staff and comfy beds and even though it was the hottest day of the year, there was no air con but it didn't matter, the rooms were lovely and cool. My friend and I have a girls night catch up once a month away from home and this was a lucky choice that was halfway between us, we are going to make this our regular spot now 😁

Lovely location, beside the canal basin. Conveniently located (maybe 2-3 miles from the centre of town, which equates to a Β£5- Β£8 taxi journey, depending upon the time of day that you travel - parking in the town centre can be very affordable; from 50p/hour). Very friendly and hospitable staff and wholesome food, next door, makes this a great place to stay. Thank you Peartree Lodge.

Quite a nice hotel, friendly helpful staff, no food here but there's a pub right next door, room was clean and comfortable and at least I could open the window when the room got hot The bathroom was a little tired and the shower curtain to short and because the shower was lovely and powerful I ended up with water on the floor but that was the only issue. Only stayed one night for work but will definitely use this hotel again as it's good and close to where I need to be.

The hotel is so nice with a water view. Rooms are comfortable with microwave and tea and coffees and tv. Right next door to restaurant. Parking is very good. Everyone is so friendly. Would definitely come back again when I'm up this way.

What a fantastic little hotel! I'm staying here for 5 nights for a training course and so far it's been a wonderful experience. The receptionist was very welcoming when I arrived. She suggested if I want a carvery I should go straight away as they were about to stop food so I went straight to the restaurant. I got there just in time. If she hadn't mentioned it I would have missed it so I am very grateful to her because I was absolutely starving. The room is lovely with a spotless bathroom, and there is a nice view of the long boats on the marina. There is a microwave in the room, and a little fridge with a small freezer compartment inside. The fridge isn't one of those rubbish little things you usually find in hotel rooms. It keeps my diet coke freezing cold. They provide cutlery, glasses and plates but no bowls so I brought my own. They provide sachets of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and some biscuits. It's currently minus 4Β° outside but my room is nice and warm. I was in a rush to leave yesterday morning and left my bed unmade and was expecting to return to the mess I'd left. But they had cleaned my room and changed the towels while I was out. They made my bed and even lined up the stuffed toys my teenager insisted I bring with me. The restaurant next door is really nice and reasonably priced. The hotel does sell some breakfast boxes and snacks but I haven't tried them yet. If I had to come here again I would definitely stay in this hotel. It's very well priced and the bed is one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. It's so nice and quiet here as well. I almost don't want to leave!

Loved everything about this hotel, no complaints. I stayed here for two weeks with my family, we just left and I already miss it. Everything about it was charming, the facilities were clean, and the location with the canal and cute little boats and ducks, geese and swans just made it even more special. It’s simply adorable. The pub next door also made things more convenient. I will definitely always look back on my stay here fondly.

There is no air conditioning, the bed was musty, they double charged us when we checked in, there were weird handwritten signs around the hotel about rules of everything from smoking to bathroom use, the carpet was not clean, and they definitely price gauged because an event was in town. The only redeeming value was that the view of the river and longboats was nice. I would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.

We have stayed here twice. The first time we had a room woth a view of the barge marina which was nice but the rooms are smaller on this side of the hotel. The rooms that look out over the car park are bigger and quieter with larger beds.
