Historical landmark Historical place museum Heritage building

👍 An interesting ruin that belies a little of Higham Ferrers’ heritage. Beautiful grounds sporting an array of flowers. A lovely place to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. It’s also a pokéstop. And the inside holds art galleries occasionally.

Not that well known, but a local landmark. Grounds are open occasionally, usually for art galleries. Heritage site. Fairly easy free parking across the road near the Town hall. Check the website for upcoming events.

Peaceful, plenty of space to social distance. We love having picnics here.

Historic place but not much to see. It needs funding for restoration.

Other than some of the volunteer gardners, the Chichele College building was closed. Accessible most days by obtaining a key or when events are on. The gardens are being restored to how they would have been 100s of years ago. A very peaceful place to sit and think.

A place of historical.importance. Good for young families, and those who like a little quiet. Know for plants of 17 or 18 centuries. Attached is a veryodern garden where plants are raised, and on a social level, parties. Toilet on the premises.

Good, quiet place for quiet reflection, or picnicking amidst ruins of 15th century change chapel.

College was closed, but you can go round the back into the gardens. Best to visit on a day the college is open.
