I would like to thank Sarah and the team at the Kingfisher for all their hard work to make my party fabulous. Venue, food, drink all terrific. Also for advising me to book the disco House & Manor Entertainment who were the best disc any of my friends had ever seen, music perfect. Thank you for a night myself and all my guests will remember as superb.

Hotel room was nice , not 100 percent cleaned properly with finger prints on the mirror and hairs in the shower. The towel rail in the bathroom hissed all night and was leaking rusty water onto the floor. Room 4 we stayed in . The worst bit of the hotel for me was the entrance. The road into the hotel is absolutely awful !! So many pot holes and gravel flicking up everywhere ! This needs to be mentioned as we have actually damaged our car. A stone has flicked up and chipped the paint. We were driving at maybe 2mph on this so called road. Id not reccomend anyone to any one to stay here if you have a nice car ! The entrance is absolutely awful!! This needs rectifying to match how nice the rest of the place is !

Only came here for the driving range but the location was beautiful. Set just outside central Milton Keynes and near Buckingham this is a great location for a small getaway. The driving range was fantastic, very well kept and with great technology to help analyse your driving.

big liars. We booked this place for our wedding and 2 months before our wedding they cancelled. No notice nothing just sent an emails to us and when we call nobody answers after many times we eventually got through to the event planner who was shocked to find out as well. Even going as far as to ask us why they cancelled the wedding !!!! Some of our guests called them after a few weeks and was told that he could indeed book a company party on this day as it was now available. Please don’t trust them. Worst experience in my life. Luckily we managed to rearrange the wedding and had a five star experience no thanks to them though.

This review is purely based on having my smaller wedding hosted here. In terms of organisation and communication I would give 2 stars. However, the food itself and the meal service on the day (separate staff) was excellent and certainly deserving of 5 stars. Pros - Food, food service, the grounds. Cons - Organisation and communication: At the start of organising my wedding with Kingfisher, I had Tamarin as my wedding coordinator. She left early in the year 2023 but at no point was I contacted or sent a courtesy email by the remaining team to let me know this. I sent several emails, in April 23, where weeks went by with no reply, so as I was confused by this, I rang Kingfisher to find out she had left. I also read on social media there had been a change of management and the hotel had actually been closed for a period of time. Of course, this meant I was highly concerned that my wedding contract and requests I had organised with Tamarin would now not be honoured. I was told the new wedding coordinator would contact me (I later found out there wasn't one, just existing team members, with the one they needed to speak to me being part time) and at no point did they contact me back. Having no idea if my wedding plans had been kept or transferred over by Tamarin, I had to ring Kingfisher three times, we were in May, to finally have someone confirm that all had been switched over and the special requests I had made were still valid. All in all, I was left hanging in the balance for a month, with my wedding just two months away at that point. Closer to the date, I met with the person now dealing with my wedding, Kas, and many of the elements Tamarin said I could have with no problem were now an issue. One of these being room set up. Tamarin had said this would be managed by them but this didn't go down well with Kas. However, they did honour this agreement. For the day, because of the discontent over setting up our room for us, I left detailed layouts of the room, and even offered to help set it up the day before. I was told no they would be using the room in the evening for guests, yet, when dropping the decorations off the day before, the room was not in use and tables were being moved out there and then. The set up was nothing overly complicated, yet on the wedding morning, there was issue after issue for my poor groom to change, having very little time to do so. This ruined arrival photos for him, with chairs in the wrong place, music systems not working and lights not being switched on. All of which could have been avoided. Either we were deemed as unimportant due to us being a small, intimate wedding or I dread to think how they would cope organising and communicating with the bride for a bigger wedding day.

An excellent small hotel. The rooms are extremely modern, comfortable and have everything you could expect. Being a country club, the hotel is set in grounds which makes it very quiet and peaceful.

The rooms and the staff were brilliant, you drive through the main gates at the entrance and you see the building. Sorry to say it looks like something out of a holiday camp in America. But the rooms I couldn't pick a fault with, very clean spacious overlooking the lake. Ate in the restaurant food was very good and well presented. The staff went the extra mile to be helpful the bar is well stocked, with beers larger ciders and spirits. Overall a lovely stay the only disappointment was the view thru the gates. Owners please update it you'd have a cracking venue

Hotel & bedroom was clean and comfortable. Bathroom very good. Breakfast was great. No chef for lunch or dinner while we were there so had to go out to eat or order in. Staff were very helpful.
