Good clean room that was compact for 4 but was very well thought out. Well laid out bathroom with a novel toilet door that then acted as a bathroom door ( It either closed to act as a bathroom door, or opened to close the toilet off) TV, coffee facilities ( all the basics provided) Breakfast.. Wow. Really good. It was busy and being constantly refreshed. Good English cooked breakfast Continental - croissant Posh tea bags I think the coffee was just instant though.( Not filter?) Cereals Orange juice and apple. Fruit For a bank holiday Monday morning, it was busy, but the staff coped well considering it appeared that half the hotel descended into the restaurant almost simultaneously.

Currently staying here for work. The rooms are great with lots of space, decent beds and bathrooms, breakfast fine, location nice (able to walk around the lake and close to town) with free parking. What makes is really excellent though are the staff!! Had a few VERY minor issues which have been quickly resolved and with great customer service from the polite and friendly staff. Having previously worked in hotels, including IHG, I can happily say you are doing an excellent job and I am impressed! Keep up the great work!

Our room was a double and very comfortable, clean and had tea and coffee along with a hair drier, iron, and soap/shampoo. Bed was comfy, slept well. Room was cleaned each day I was there and cleaned well. My only issue is the food at breakfast, it was disgusting. It was almost cold, the eggs were awful and the pastries were hard like they had been there a week. Bananas black and well all the food was inedible. Bar is expensive so we only had a drink each. I would stay again but I would go elsewhere to eat.

Reasonable 3 star IHG Hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are good size, but could do with some TLC in some areas. In our recent visit, despite being a platinum IHG rewards member, we still had flaking paint on the bathroom ceiling. Breakfast is complementary for all rooms, however whilst the bacon, sausages and beans are good they only seem to serve powdered scrambled eggs and no fried. A bit of a shame as this would make an okay breakfast great IMHO.

Amazing hotel with excellent service! The location is very good! It is located next to a beautiful lake with water attractions and a large Ferris wheel. There are also good restaurants and bars nearby. The rooms are very clean and have all the necessary amenities. A free breakfast is included. I definitely want to visit the hotel again.

Room, while basic, was of a decent standard.. however breakfast was not. Given it is included in the price, I would prefer to save money and have breakfast excluded from the cost. However, can't complain that parking is free (unlike nearby Premier Inn). All in all,, I wouldn't stay here again, as it's expensive for what it is.

Really great experience here, the staff at reception were really friendly and helpful. Rooms are great, plenty of room with comfy beds and a good view of the lake. A good location to get most places in Milton Keynes for myself and not to far from the M1. Food was good but a little overpriced for what you get, other that it was a great stay.

Good hotel with breakfast included, rooms are done out nice and are functional. We stayed in a room with pull-out sofa bed for the children, it was quite narrow but we coped with that. Comfortable king size bed with four well filled soft pillows. We would stay again.

Very, very nice. Staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and spacious. We asked for two rooms next to each other and got two interleading rooms for my wife and I and two teenage boys. Superb!!! Other hotels should take heed here as this is a superb idea. Can't fault our stay at all. πŸ‘πŸ‘Œ

A great hotel to spend a couple of nights. We had a double room, 2 single needs. Room was clean, comfortable bed and hot shower. Everything we needed. Breakfast was included and the breakfast is fantastic. Selection of hot food, selection of cereals, pastries etc. All you can eat and as much coffee or juices as you can drink. Our room cost us Β£63 a night, well worth the money. Will gladly stay there again.

Great value for money. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms well maintained and beds comfortable. Breakfast had everything we needed. We will use holiday inn express again in other places, let’s hope they are as good as this one.

Had great difficulty finding the hotel due two closures on the M1 and one end of the road the hotel was on,being closed. Having said that the staff were excellent and very helpful. They allocated a room which was suitable for my wife who has mobility problems. The room was excellent, the beds were comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices of both hot and cold food. The reception staff were again very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

Fab place to stay, I did ask for adjoining rooms, but when we checked in that wasn't possible as they were fully booked and it was after 10pm when we checked in. The room was spacious and air conditioner was a welcome relief. Slept well, breakfast buffet style loved it. It was great that we didn't have to check out till 11am. Next time, I'm in the area will definitely book in again. The hotel was clean throughout and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Outstanding value hotel with a deceivingly great room. Was Β£25 cheaper than β€œbudget” hotels on the night we stayed! We stayed here probably about 5 years ago and recall no issues. On arrival this time noticed the exterior is looking a little dated. However, greatest on a busy Saturday by a friendly member of staff who obliged our request for a top floor room. Rooms have been renovated perhaps on the last few years. Our room had a sofa bed which doubled as a sofa. Was spotlessly clean and perfectly adequate. Slept like a log with a great duvet and blackout curtains. The breakfast is great, a simple selection (hot items: sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and beans) which was constantly replenished and plentiful. The buffet is absolutely brilliant considering the price paid for room. Will not hesitate to book again!

We have recently used another chain hotel and were just pleased with it. BUT, this hotel was really impressive. It was lovely two nights stay here that we took it with us as a family . Clean, modern rooms. Bliends are so tick and covers the windows so you will not be able notice if it is morning already unless you check the time. Our room was done nicely on the 2.day too. High internet speed without extra pay makes so pleasant. Things to improve: hot water and coffee machine can be a bit distanced so the hot drinks queues can move faster during busy breakfast mornings. TV was not displayed properly that we mentioned to the reception on our leave.

A good location, the room was fine and well equipped but our room was next to the laundry room which resulted in a moderate humming noise throughout the nigh. The hotel was very busy and the breakfast staff were helpful and kept things moving. Given how busy it was the queue for food was long and slowed to a stop as things ran out, the staff did well to keep refilling but a two sided service station would cope better than up against a wall, especially on busy days

Stayed over for a concert at mk stadium. The guy at reception was lovely & chatty & gave us all the information we needed. He even said the extra bed hadn't Been made up yet but he'd have someone come straight up to do it - when we got in room it was actually done so staff are very efficient. It seems very well organised. Room was clean & fresh, facilities all good. Beds were comfy & bedding clean & fresh. They have a restaurant downstairs that did 24hr pizza! πŸ™Œ just what you need getting back at 2.30am after concert! Breakfast was included in the price & was really good! There's a little cooler in reception with drinks, sandwiches & snacks to purchase 24hr. Lifts were working & getting to room easy. Was great for a one night stay after concert but would happily have spent a week there.

Stayed overnight while visiting friends. Friendly helpfull staff. Room comfortable clean and tidy. Breakfast had plenty of choice and freshly cooked/stocked up until closing. Easy access to the city centre and major roads. Nice atmosphere catering to families adults and children's groups. I recommend and will use again.
