Has all the basics needed. Electric hook up points, showers are okay although are on an immersion so time it right but we were fine. Small and simple campsite suitable for camping and caravanning. Dog friendly and really affordable £20 a night with electric. Would happily come back again

Very friendly couple running the camp, they are very accommodating. They have done so much since they started and still to do. Our second stay here this month and not our last. Next to the Canal which makes a lovely walk in the evening or day.

Very quiet campsite witch was lovely, the sourounding area is nice walk around especially the canal that is just beside the campsite. My only problem is that the showers were quite dirty and i couldn't bring myself to use them. Despite this i had a great time and the owner was very welcoming.

Camped at the site with a small family group over the weekend recently. Site is close to the canal so some nice walks out and good access to the 3 Locks pub for dinner. They also allow dogs which is nice. The site itself was fairly quiet, seemed to be lights out for most people by 9pm, there was some road noise but that's rather hard to avoid in Milton Keynes so earplugs are a good idea. The facilities are definitely in need of some attention though, the shared shower block/kitchen wash up area has 2 showers and 3 toilets and although someone seemed to be cleaning the toilets fairly regularly and these were clean, there were hairs all over the walls/floor in the showers and cobwebs and spiders hanging down in the surrounding areas, it was grim. Also doesn't seem to be enough showers for everyone as had a very rude man banging on the shower room door telling me to hurry up whilst i was changing so didn't feel particularly safe.

A bit expensive at £34 per night..large enough site and clean.. electric hook up included. Toilets old and dated showers old and dated.. would certainly expect more for the cost. But only round corner to see grandchildren so a bit stuck for choice..

Two unheated toilets/ shower rooms on a water heater so when it's gone it's gone and just one other toilet , a sink for pot washing ( if you're thin enough to squeeze into the gap provided ) and that's your lot. The site itself is strewn with clapped out old caravans that look like they are used as temporary accommodation for casual workers . £26 a night is laughable and it's just a matter of if they can get away with it why not. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're absolutely desperate.

We stayed here for one night. It was an ok setting next to the canal and we found it very quiet. We did sleep well. Wouldn't rate the shower and toilet facilities though - a bit dirty and not enough cubicles for the number of pitches available on site. Also the washing up basin is in the same room as the toilet. The owner should either lower the cost or renovate these shared facilities.

Could be really nice. Great wee spot but the shower and toilet block let it down badly. Needs attention and cleaning! At least the water was hot. As a result I feel it was overpriced for what it was.

Lovely spot to spend the night. Good amenities, friendly staff and very reasonable price. New pitches will be great when ready. Would visit again.

Couldn’t fault. Great value campsite close to local amenities. Owners also working hard to modernise and improve facilities.

My mother and I went camping on this campsite from Monday (19/06/23) until (22/06/23) 🏕️ It has been brilliant and for someone who hasn't been camping before I have enjoyed the first time! The campsite looked very colourful , the directions to get to like the showers, toilets, reception are very funky 😁 I absolutely love it! I love the falconry where the owls live 🦉 I loved visiting the owls in the evenings, they were lovely 🦉 they've got lots of birds to see and view 🦉🦅🐦 The showers were convenient, a short walk from our tent to the shower block they were decent. 🚿 This campsite was amazing! Absolutely loved it, nothing I hate about it and very nice owners aswell 😊

Booked in for 3 nights. It's a strange site, one side properly marked out and serviced, and the other side unkempt, occupied by dilapidated caravans and motorhomes on 4 pitches. There are two showers with wc and wash basin which are on an immersion heater so when hot water is gone, tough! Also one separate toilet. Hardly enough for the size of site. No welcome or contact with the owner whatsoever. How odd! I'm sorry, but we just felt like we were a commodity to be fulfilled rather than a guest on their property.

The new sites are nice, old sites in a dell with almost swampy sites because grey water is to be dumped in the hedgeline. Toilet block barely adequate.

Friendly welcoming staff, right by a canal with a lovely walk. The toilets need a refurbishment which we were told but this didn't reflect on the price which stayed firm at £24. We didn't use EHU, grass pitch, and no awnings allowed.

Such a peaceful place. Owners are lovely, very welcoming and most accommodating. Pitches are level. Lovely walks. Secure.

Secure camp site/caravan park. Recently renovated indoor lavatories and hot showers. Clothes washing facilities and an area for washing up for the campers in the scullery. Beautiful location by the canal. It's definitely worth a visit for travelling campers or more permanent residence. A lovely caring community atmosphere.

Good access to MK. We stayed for a couple of weeks and they were very flexible with us (we didn’t know whether we'd be staying for a few days or long term). Daria did all she could to help meet our needs. Thank you again. The site is quite small (which I prefer), and well equipped. The showers are good with well over a minute between pressing the button for more water oh and they are kept clean which is always nice. Some long term visitors there and they seemed very happy. A lovely little site, great value for money. Very peaceful location next to the canal. A little road noise at busy times, but not intrusive at all. Basic facilities but I’d expect nothing less at £16pn including EHU. I received a very friendly welcome from Daria. The only issue I had was the queue for the toilets in the morning, but I think they are planning to refurbish the bathrooms at some point. Take a long EHU cable as the points are quite far away from some parts of the field. I’d definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.

This site is a family run site in a beautiful location Daria and James family members who took over running the site a couple of months ago are very friendly and helpful. The ongoing improvements to the site they are working on I am certain will make this the best camp site in the whole milton keynes area.

This site is fantastic. The improvements made are amazing. The new shower block is modern and far more practical than the previous one. The site is run by a fair minded, kind and approachable couple who are lovely. Many thanks, see you soon x
