Wow, we were not disappointed. It's a family run small restaurant with 6 tables, they also offer delivery services as well. The food was just out of this world; we had few starters and main courses and shared them. My favourite was the rice, so simple but so tasty and the whole chicken, juicy, well marinated. Thank you to our host Miguel, it was such a lovely evening. There is also a little shop, in the back room. We will definitely be back there again very

The chicken from here is great. The staff are really friendly, I think it's a family run restaurant. There is some parking outside, I'm not sure if it's free but there are spaces. We had a whole chicken, spare ribs and chips. The chicken was really delicious and tender, the chips sort of reminded me of Chinese takeaway chips and the ribs were pretty good too. The food is quite garlicky but I'm a garlic girl. If we come back we might try a portion of the drumsticks because they were really good

First time at this restaurant today and was blown away by the flavours of the food ! Everything we ordered was delicious and so well seasoned and balanced . The service was lovely and they were so attentive with us . We left there with full and very happy ! Lovely local restaurant and will be returning.

Absolutely enjoyed my birthday dinner here. The owners were super friendly and the food superb! It was our first time to try the food here so we ordered a few dishes to ‘try’, 2 hours later, we’ve ordered everything off their menu and more. Plus if you’re finding that homemade chips quality, this is the place!! Thank you Maggie and Marco, your place is a true local gem in Milton Keynes. Deliciousness!

Me and my 3 mates go here at least once a week or once every 2 weeks at least. The food is incredible, the owner Miguel and his wife and staff are very polite and chatty and the beer they serve, Super Bok is one of the best beers around. Me and my mates love it here!

Chicken and chips were great but we ordered a chorizo which was missing from the delivery - called up House of Chicken to advise of this and they were completely unhelpful. I understand it was via Deliveroo so this limits how they can resolve the issue but there are ways of dealing with these things and their customer service was awful, ultimately we have paid for something that we have not had through no fault of ours. Very disappointing, will not be using again.

Booking a table in advance is required if you’re planning to visit at weekends. We received a warm welcome, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. My only minor gripe would be that the food was overly salty.

Great little Portuguese grill restaurant. Friendly owners and staff, tasty food for a good price. Highly recommend the mixed grill to share and the grilled chorizo starter. There's also a little deli with all the Portuguese food and drink you could want! This place is only small so call ahead to check if they have a table.

We've been here a few times and the food is always delicious. It takes us 1 hour from Oxford but it's definitely worth the travel. Very friendly owners and the best chicken we've had anywhere! We will be returning many more times. I would recommend booking in advance as the restaurant is quite small and fills up quickly.

The menu may appear small/simple but this leads to a few things done very well.... this place is AWESOME! Unlike many other places, the owners pictures on the Google listing are very representative of what served, you just won't appreciate the flavours from them. Very welcoming. Clearly busy, mid-week it appeared we were lucky to get a table without booking. Weekend, booking is a MUST. Our disappointment... Well, we should have visited sooner, I guess we can make up for that and return soon to try more 😁👍 The BONUS... There's a small shop out back with a variety of Portuguese delights.

Authenticity…friendly service…and quality food reasonable priced I highly recommend to call out for your order in advance so no need to wait for your fresh grilled chicken prepared to perfection. Also went to eat on premises several times, Miguel was very welcoming every time, the food fantastic, will be back with some friends soon.

We went here on our wedding anniversary and had a great time, the staff are so engaging and friendly - a very multicultural experience 😀. It's an authentic Portuguese cafe experience and, having recently returned from a holiday there, I can tell you that it ranks well with the restaurants in Portugal 🇵🇹

We visited as the reviews were great. We were not disappointed I had the half chicken and it was the best chicken I’ve ever had. My friend had the pork belly and it was beautiful, perfectly cooked. Also home made chips. Yum we'll be back

Great service, the owner was really polite. The food was cheap but it was unbelievably greasy. It has the potential to be a great restaurant if they sort this out.

Lovely intimate spot and the chicken is just the perfect balance of salt and garlic. The Portuguese wine is lovely and the owner is a really nice guy. All in all nice vibes for reasonable prices will defiantly go back

This place is a real hidden gem! The hospitality and food is some of the best I’ve had yet alone in MK, you really feel like part of the family when you sit down to eat and you won’t be disappointed! I’ve been several times this year and will continue to go back!

My colleagues and I came here for our much-needed dinner and it was an amazing experience. Being a group of 8, we ordered head of time and our food was ready in quick time. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We were really looked after well. We will definitely find another excuse to go back again very soon, 😊

We ordered 2 whole chickens which were tasty but the meat was a little dry. Could have been because they were so busy! The pork steak, chorizo and desserts were amazing though

The best place to eat traditional Portuguese grill chicken ; salted ham and Portuguese steak !! Miguel is fantastic person ; i totally recommend the trip from London amazing prices with best quality ever . Next time we will try francesinha!!
