Its hard truly hard to express in words the experience i had with this GP PRACTICE and the exposure to such a mean , disgraceful and callous team of receptionists and executives. I genuinely trying and wish to erase the parts of my memory which belong to this GP's executive and receptionists . I cant even recall the experience i had with them so lets just talk about next step of you finally succeed and pass from receptionists and executives team so them The distance between a patient and doctor is minimum 30 to 60 days and if you name two problems you have to pick one and then wait for another 30,to 60 days to be able to speak about another problem . Anyway its just a vulgar joke to people in need of care .

Worst Gp centre to deal with!!!! Horrible services. They never have any appointments slots they tell you to try book on the day at 7pm but there’s never any appointments to book. Whilst they offer you their next available appointment slot in a months time, Yet you have called them because you have an issue that can’t wait for a month. How can you wait for a month to relieve your pain, heartburn, pelvic pain, nauseous etc. They don’t offer telephone services like other Gp centres for simple things like analgesia,Antiemetic and gaviscon etc even when you are an expectant mother. No priorities for such immediate matters that can be avoided. One of the receptionist told me to go to urgent care whilst I clearly told her I don’t need to go to hospital I just need a prescription which can be done via the phone. The community midwives especially Avebury that am dealing with are the worse you call them, text them they don’t reply even for a week. No remorse at all to find out why you calling them frequently. What’s the point of them giving you their mobile numbers yet you note they read the messages but never responds. I feel like you just have to Google all the information diagnose yourself and die worrying with your anxiety because both the Gp doc and team are nowhere to help at all. I have worked for the NHS myself for nearly 15 years and I deliver quality care but what I have received from this surgery and midwives for the past year is appalling. Rude receptionist who don’t understand why they are doing their job. Don’t relieve your worries or concerns but aggravate it more. Never goes a mile to help you with your concerns. Am just fed up and can’t wait to seek help from another team. It’s a total mess this surgery. I can’t wait to change both the Gp and Avebury midwifery team. The amount of going to the hospital in and out to seek for help can be avoided if they change some services. It’s a shame some people who do this kind of profession don’t do it whole heartedly hence deliver poor care to the needy who pay taxes and expect professional quality care and excellent communication.

Appallingly poor excuse for medical care. The receptionists are like baying dogs who seem to try their best to make it impossible to book an appointment - rude, obnoxious, hostile and defensive! Unqualified snappy receptionists are able to pick and choose who they give appointments to and who they do not. Whenever you call to request an appointment these people ask for sensitive medical details over the phone which is entirely inappropriate coming from an unqualified medical professional. They are rarely ever helpful or compassionate. Also extremely weird this medical centre only employs female reception staff - zero diversity. The professionalism of certain GP's is dubious - Dr Civills is negligent, dismissive and incompetent. I had to advise him to weigh me during a cancer scare that he instantly dismissed but was then confirmed by Milton Keynes hospital. In the case of referrals to the hospital the incompetent GP’s always manage to mess things up and do not always follow through. GPs are not proactive and do not fully cooperate or triage with other medical services to ensure maximum support for patients. Therefore referrals have to come back to CMK because of their extremely poor communication skills and lack of proactivity. The receptionists and certain GPs and nurses here are a huge concern in terms of low levels of professionalism and ethics. Quite shocked this place is still open for business or that certain staff here are still employed - unfit for practice in my opinion.

Disappointing experience. Didn't get any appointment for any of my calls. Always they redirect to MK Urgent care center, Now I am thinking what is the purpose of having a gp who is always redirect to urgent care (walking center). Previously when I called NHS 111 for my kid, they referred to GP and asked to connect within an hour, and GP receptionist asked me to go directly to urgent care even before asking the reason of the call. But when I reached urgent care, they said they don't have the assessment report (done by nhs 111) and that made me waiting 6 hours for the consultation.

Not all the staffs are properly informed, they don't even bother to share information correctly, I have asked them multiple times about whether I am suppose to eat or not eat before my blood test, they said nothing is mentioned so I can eat, and then on the test day the person at the reception tells me that I was not suppose to eat from a night before. It's highly unexpected and unprofessional, I again have to wait for a month to get a test done forget about the treatment.

Poor unprofessional GP service. Never opt for Dr Edward Sivills as your GP. Felt really bad with service and want to change my GP altogether. I had a miscarriage recently on May 24, 2022. On 13 may my blood test were abnormal instead of scheduling consultation doctor asked for retest. In the retest also results were abnormal. Doctor neither prescribed any action nor scheduled an appointment. On 24th may I started having vaginal bleeding and went to A&E. After this there was no follow up but I see entry on 26th May in my NHS app that patient asked to take appointment but I did not receive any voice mail besides I was undergoing lot of pain and was bed ridden because of blood loss and misacrriage. After this I see that for no specific reason blood tests were postponed on June 8th for blood tested that were due 2 weeks ago. Eventually My GP after telling him I have severe weakness in my legs and I am not able walk he scheduled for blood tests for 15th of June. This was already 3 weeks delayed. The report came back saying I have alarming low B12 levels. At this point for no specific reason instead of prescribing b12 injections right away he asked get one more round of of same blood test. And left me to suffer with my inability to walk. I had blood test again 22nd of July. This time B12 counts were improved which is very unlikely in one week time.Besides I still have the same problems and weakness I have been suffering from past 1 month. I had on appointment today for b12 injections and I went to the appointment and doctor has advised not to administer the injection. I wanted to raise my concern with the office manager Yvette Baker and Jade Fuller. But both of them were absent. Overall very bad experience with GP.

Not the fault of the doctors or nurses!! This GP is so behind on tech. You can't easily book appointments online and the prescription request system is ancient. Some receptionists can be quite abrupt but some are nice.

I have been with this surgery for 10 years, and it's been fine until recently. I phoned up to make a family planning appointment in the full knowledge it would take three months to get a date, which was fine and I had planned for it. What is not fine is being told "the clinic will call you back with an appointment". That was three weeks ago. I rang reception back and they eventually admitted that the call-backs themselves operate a waiting list. Presumably if I'm at work when they call (which is likely), I start back at square 1? Why can't I just phone and get an appointment??

I called this morning after being admitted into hospital for breathing issues. Had a major anxiety attack that has carried on for roughly five days. Explained this to Kate the receptionist and she was so caring and empathetic. Got an appointment same day because I can't eat or sleep. Couldn't ask for a better service!

Horrible abrupt and unhelpful receptionists who are often uncooperative and have zero listening skills. They really could do with some training in customer service and learn some compassion for the patients without whom they would not be employed. Worst receptionists I have ever encountered in all my experience of dealing with GP surgeries - hostile and defensive. Also, some of the GPs here are the least proactive medical professionals I have ever come across - they do not support the patients and instead seem to prefer to stare at their computer screens instead of listening and supporting. Dr Civills can only be described as negligent. Ongoing medical issues are never followed up by GPs leaving patients in vulnerable situations without support. Why the Care Quality Commission has graded this place as 'good' is intriguing and calls into question the professional standards and the validity of their grading criteria. The NHS is a vital resource that I have paid taxes towards for my entire life however the staff here are a huge disappointment in comparison to other medical services in MK and the UK in general. CMK medical centre is sub-standard in every possible way - even some of the nurses are toxic - when I went for a recent ECG test the elderly nurse made entirely inappropriate comments about a 'dead man walking' in addition to other comments about death - sad sick people work at CMK medical centre. It needs a complete overhaul with instant dismissal of at least 80% of the staff.

I love to post it as no star if I can. Try to book a telephone consultation, it's more than 30 days wait. Try to book some test, I can't because I am not qualify. The operator did a very good job as goalkeeper.

disgusting service. doctors are rude and dismissive. I was severely anemic due to a health condition and needed medication as i could do barely any of my usual day activities. had a blood test and waited 3 weeks for the results. i had to make another appointment which was a 2 week wait, to get my results because no one had returned my calls or sent any letters with the results. in the second appointment the doctor forgot about my results, which showed my iron levels to be 2 times lower than the healthy level. I was finally medicated after waiting over a month. appalling. they must think healthcare is a joke.

Update: We tried again at around 8.45 and it worked. We have also booked an appointment for today. Thank you for replying so quickly. Rating updated. On hindsight, it was probably unfair to give a bad rating purely based on IVR although it was very frustrating when we were hearing the same 'Main Menu' on loop. Not sure if there is an issue with the telephone system to book appointment, but the IVR just plays the same message in loop with no way to go past the 'Main Menu'. Option 1 just repeats the same message and Option 2 and 3 cuts off the call.

My prescriptions are supposed to go straight to the chemist at boots in Kingston! So why did I get a text message on Thursday just gone, that I've got to go to the doctors to pick my prescription up! I have severe mental health and I can't leave my home unless I have someone with me, so that screws me over for my meds and because I'm on weekly scripts too.

Really disappointing service. Was seen 4 weeks ago about a breast lump. Was told by the doctor that he had sent a referral request through. Had to chase this up - there was evidence on my file about a 2 week turnaround referral request, but a 'technical error' meant that it was never sent to the hospital. They have now sent the request off 4 weeks after my appointment, with no note about needing an appointment urgently. So now I will need to wait likely weeks more for an appointment at the hospital. It's a worrying time having a lump which needs being checked, made all the more worrying by the gp never sending off the request.

I don’t usually post reviews but I felt I had to seeing the bad reviews on here. I’ve not had a bad experience and have been a patient for about four years. Every time I call they are pleasant on the phone and I can always get my children in when they need to be seen if I call at 8:30am in the morning. They are clearly very busy but I think they all do a really good job!
