Me and my family have had an amazing experience with this doctors! Especially one receptionist in particular was extremely helpful. I think her name was Alison but I could be wrong. She listened and was attentive and has been every single time she has dealt with me or a family member. She really makes me feel at ease no matter what my issue is and is a great asset to the team!

Dr Ali was rude, terrifying and disrespectful. She would like shifting things on to you. E.g., the nurses told me that I should share my medication plan with my GP but the GP liked shouting instead of exploring my problem. As if She already knew everything about my problems and pain without any prior discussion. Super confident! Everyone in this Surgery I met so far would asks you same question, swing you back and forth between nurses and doctors and, literally no one knows about your health management plan. Except for one nurse, everyone happens to be rude. As if they are forced to do the job. So they follow the procedure - “ticking the box” only. Such a shame!

I have been a patient of Fishermead Medical Centre since 2008 when the Grafton Street medical centre closed. I have always found the staff very helpful , friendly, welcoming, and empathetic. During my years here, I have had particularly strong help from Dr K Ali and before her, Dr Lily Win. In fact, all the current doctors are supportive, Dr Alexander and Dr Kansagra. During Covid, they were all amazing. Very caring and careful about our safety and wellbeing. Some of the receptionists Kerry , Sue and Lee are always friendly and efficient. They love a bit of banter. Nurse practitioners Theresa and Jenny and Nurse Adeline are amazing, sensitive, caring and non judgemental I have a very good relationship with the practice secretary Louisa. I also get regular health checks and medication reviews. The digital system for prescription ordering, record keeping and test results is fantastic. The appointment system is very fair. I have often had to book procedures with Dr Ali and these are dealt with promptly without delay. I have gradually relied more and more on my GP surgery as I have developed greater "co morbidities" and age related problems but none of the staff make me feel unwelcome or a burden.

Avoid if you can. Very unhappy with the service quality. The nurse did not wear the gloves while handling blood test. I was literally petrified.

These GPS are getting paid for doing nothing.. serious investigations or audits need to take place at all Medical centres in Milton, because their performance is below poor..

Can’t book appointments in advance and have to call on the day if you want to be seen. Call on the day at 7:59am, says I’m caller number 2 in the queue and still not through to anyone at 8:45am and still waiting… The appointments system is an absolute joke. I do not believe for a second that the receptionist come in and get straight onto calls at 8am, if you’re second in line you wouldn’t be waiting almost an hour to get through to someone. I have several issues needing to be seen to by a doctor but due to only being allowed to speak about one issue per appointment and never actually being able to get appointments, I’ve just given up on even trying. I’m only calling today because of my baby being unwell and after being advised by a pharmacist to be seen.

This is the worse surgery ever. My partner was trying to make an appointment for 3 days in a roll and he couldn't manage to make one. When they finally pick up the phone, the woman was so rude as he has to go and change his information by himself and still didn't get the service he needed.

Absolutely above and beyond! I feel like fishermead medical centre have improved! The receptionists are lovely, Claire is helpful, Kerrie is helpful and so is Alison! It is Lisa who I normally see and she is really good with me aswell as other nurses who I've seen so far this year, Adeline was lovely and very passionate about my wellbeing, Theresa is really nice and so is the healthcare nurse Jenny! They are all really good and know what they're doing and the atmosphere is very attractive aswell! I've been coming here for years 😊 everyone is helpful! And then Dr Ali checks up on me occasionally which is also good, they are all about your health and they are passionate about it!

I am changing this review. Because when I spoke to Rita. She was helpful, she made me feel listened to and safe. And also Doctor Ali who I spoke to most recently was very good. Very helpful and very reassuring. I was previously returned to my normal doctor a month ago. Who responded to my PTSD over traumatic events, with the words 'try harder'. I'd rate it a 1, but Rita and Doctor Ali were so kind, thoughtful and compassionate, and the receptionists were so professional that it would be unfair to not give it 3 stars.

I've been with Fishermead Medical Centre for 30 years. Dr. Berger was my doctor for 25 years, he was excellent, saving my life twice. His replacement Dr Alexander has always been very good. Nurse Anne & Nurse Shyla were both brilliant, now retired. In recent times I've been unhappy with the reception email service, but I put that down to the extreme pressures staff have been under during the pandemic. Thanks to everyone for your hard work during these challenging times, it is much appreciated.

You can't get an appointment at this surgery, neveeer! I've lost mornings trying to get an appointment, no-one answering and when they finally answer it's been fully booked. Worst medical center..... . There's also a problem regarding the ethics of the doctors working here, as they have no idea about managing a conversation: I have high blood pressure and I was told that:"you know you'll die" , I'm in my forties , this is not a proper way to do it. Don't go for this surgery! I will contact also the authorities, this is unacceptable behaviour!

The worse gp in Milton Keynes. I was 7th in the queue since 8am and by 11 am when finally got through they didn't have any appointments. What makes me angry is that I didn't know that one conversation with reception each time takes around 25min per person. One time I was onnthe phone waiting for 2 h and I decided to walk there while I was on line waiting I found out that no one was on the phone and they just had phones on the side so they can drink coffee and chata with each other.

worser gp ever. i asked for medical letters regarding my back problems and haw that effects me living my in my current accommodation to support my homeless application. i was told by doctor kalsoom she can't give a housing support letter because the council are most likely to move me into the same accommodation based on the number of people living with me . So i eventually changed doctors and my new gp gave me support letters for my council office. The council then the council awarded me motability categories and i wil be moving soon into something on the ground floor .

The worst gp in milton keynes!! I was feeling unwell, for months, I did blood test and still trying to call for the results, as soon they pick up the phone oh sorry try tomorrow, there’s no appointments available for today. Every day same answer from them !! Ridiculous!!!!

Regularly have to spend multiple days trying to get appointments - there is one good gp & nurse in there but unfortunately it's a roulette as to whether you get good care or leave feeling frustrated
