This practice used to be very good before covid. Since 2020, I haven't been impressed. Callous, racist and uncaring staff at reception. I don't trust the 5 star reviews on here. This used to be a good practice but managed very poorly. The doctors and nurses I've seen are very nice, but the management is rubbish. NHS England has to sort out this practice. Disgrace. I've given a one star as I can't give zero.

Having just joined the practice and reading some of the reviews, I was massively impressed by the surgery. I was seen within 24 hours of sending an online query. During my visit and seeing the nurse a fasting blood test was arranged. I have just had that. There was no waiting, timings were kept to and the reception staff were welcoming. The staff I have seen, nurses on both occasions were amazing. Really friendly, chatty and incredibly professional. I have never been treated like this at a doctors. I would highly recommend joining this surgery.

Dr Field is wonderful but the surgery in general is appalling. When requesting an appointment for my poor mental health, I was told by a receptionist that “appointments are for sick people”. While I understand that receptionists are told to triage patients, how dare they tell me that I am not unwell enough to see somebody. It has taken so much to finally reach out for help and this is the treatment they give. I only wish I could afford to go private.

The doctors and nurses are lovely but the receptionists are just awful! I’ve never encountered such poor service before now. I’m not quite sure why they act like the patient is the enemy. Honestly, be nice to people. You’ll be surprised at what it does for your own mental health. You never know who is on edge so please remember that when you’re taking calls of a medical nature

I have been with Hilltops since 2004 and I have no complaints. I know there is negativity about the new triage system but I much prefer it to the old system of calling, trying to log on or standing in a queue. Last week I completed the form at 9pm, had a phone call from nurse Carol at 830am and had the correct cream for my sons foot by 10am. It has now healed perfectly with the cream given without the need to go to the doctors. I’ve had other times when after receiving my form I have been called and invited in for a face to face appointment. I’ve never not been called after sending a form in. I think all GP surgeries are struggling but in the current climate I have nothing bad to say about Hilltops.

Just a small bit of advice for the decision makers at Hilltops. When you hire people, maybe hire people who are actually able to understand and empathise with the patients that call or walk through your doors. My wife has been back and forth with a condition which is now affecting her vision yet your 'highly trained' receptionist has done her job and passed over a phone number and that's all. And when asked for help, bare in mind this is meant to be a 'MEDICAL PRACTICE', she was advised that they couldn't help. A doctors surgery that can't help. Really sums it up. This has been going on for 3 years now and Hilltops have been no help at all. If you have a health concern, minor or major, take it to another practice as they won't take you seriously here.

Until yesterday my idea of the medical center was that was a good place and very professional. Unfortunately yesterday I got to see the otherside and I'm not sure if other people share the issues I faced. I have been sick for 5days with fever, cough with green phlegm and sore throat, unable to take more than paracetamol due to having a 7w baby that I'm breastfeeding, so requested an appointment to see what medication I could get as I'm felling very rundown with the sickeness and still breastfeeding on demand. So seems like the advise is lemon and honey, and even better and that was the bit that crossed the line for me, "you can just Google it" so when I get to A&E with my child because Dr google was wrong is that professional liable for their words? And if I can just google it, why having offices in there, all we need is desks with computers .... Very disappointed with the treatment this time, she could even google before I got there and give me the advice but she didn't so, does she trusts what she is saying?

All my experiences over the years have been negative. Their covid procedures were the last straw for me, having poorly thought out procedures that left sick and elderly patients waiting outside in the cold to queue, and a queuing system that meant people had to pass each other in close proximity anyway to get in and out. Shameful management of this surgery over Covid. I’ve moved to a different surgery and the difference is night and day.

Hilltops used to be very bad but in the last couple years they made changes and now it became the best surgery I ever has in my 7 years of stay in the UK. Well done guys, your online system

I always get good service, My partner is at a different Centre and she gets nothing like the service I do. Sure you maybe not be able to get to see anybody that easy but most things can be dealt with by their app and they phone back always and are very polite.

They managed to book me in one day after I made a request. I had a great experience, time for appointment was limited but nurse was very concerned about my problem and I felt she did everything she could to help me. More than happy with them

I previously rated 1 star but now that you can send a request on their website the surgery has much improved and my requests have been responded to very quickly, often with an appointment same-day within the next few hours.

I ordered medicine for the 17 and it’s 29th today, I haven’t got any of my medicines yet and I’ve ran out. I asked for an urgent appointment last weeks and still didnt get a response.

👍👍 Absolutely brilliant service from Lee at Clearer Ears MK, a really short notice appointment was given to us and he was so great with my 10year old daughter making her feel really at ease. Sorted both her ears and she is now one very happy girl! Cheers Lee, top service!

👍👍 I have had a few visits now and have been delighted each time, the level of fade already is amazing! While tattoo removal isn't comfortable (it does hurt for the brief lasering needed) Bartek is incredibly patient and explanatory. 😠 I won’t bother explaining my situation as this clinic seem to have an answer for everything. Consider this, if many different people are reporting an issue, then there’s likely a problem. I only wish I read the reviews first, hopefully others won’t be as unfortunate. I will do my level best to ensur...
