I have been going to Jonathan for many years, as a bricklayer I suffer from back pain and other industry related injuries. I have a regular check up with Jonathan every few months and he gives me advice on exercise and stretching that helps my condition and keeps me in good health. At least once a year my back goes and I am unable to work and can hardly walk , one phone call to Jonathan and he always manages to get me an emergency appointment with himself and after a few days I am back to my old self again. It is always a pleasure to see Jonathan and his wife and will always recommend him to friends and work colleagues who have mentioned aches and pains and after they have visited him they can't thank me enough for the recommendation.

I have been using Jonathan’s chiropractic and acupuncture services for more than 15 years. In that time I’ve been treated for many different injuries, some quick to fix, some ongoing, longer term, and some maintenance to help keep future injuries away. For those who are new to Jonathan or considering booking some chiropractic treatment, I thought I’d share a typical first appointment :) Your first appointment will always start with a discussion to explore your issue in more depth, you’ll be asked to talk through your symptoms, past treatments that may or may not have worked and share your relevant medical history. It would be negligent to start working on a patient without knowing all the facts. Only after this discussion will Jonathan examine you and do some initial checks to see what your problem(s) might be. If it’s an obvious fix he may make a small adjustment then and there or if more complex he will talk through further treatments sessions. Jonathan is not a magician, not everything can be fixed immediately… that said I’ve always come away feeling loads better… so maybe he is! Jonathan is personable, capable, knowledgeable and professional. He will look at your injury/issue holistically, he’ll talk to you about the importance of self help, exercise and nutrition. He will then tailor a solution to meet your needs and mobility. I think it’s fair to say he’s one of the best in his field and highly regarded. It’s like all things, your treatment should go hand in hand with common sense, self help and patience :)

My experience with the clinic has been fantastic. Jonathan supported me throughout pregnancy, keeping me comfortable and mobile with issues of pelvic pain and heart burn which always disappeared after a visit. I had a complicated birth and he has done a wonderful job of helping our baby through her first few months. We had issues with a poor latch when feeding and were advised to try CST - it has been a huge help in solving that issue and also flagging and fixing some others before they became real problems. We now have a content baby who sleeps and feeds very well. Jonathan is great with our little one and I’d highly recommend his services.

I have been going here for several years now, as have many members of my family and we all agree that it is brilliant . Jonathan always manages to set me up right again and is always pleasant and professional in his work. I just wanted to thank Jonathan at the Advanced Pain Relief Clinic in Simpson Milton Keynes for the treatment I have received over the last 3 months. My back was in agony with a badly herniated disk causing extreme sciatica and this was confirmed with an MRI. Jonathan manipulated my back and hips helping to correct my posture. He provided an exercise plan that increased over time as I was able and helped strengthen my back. I am now back to full fitness with not even a twinge. I would definitely recommend this Clinic. It was recommended to me and I am so glad I found someone who definitely knows his profession. Everything was explained and his methods have definitely worked. If you are in pain, I would definitely recommend this clinic. Be prepared for a slow but sure approach, if you are looking for a quick fix you sadly won’t find that anywhere. I’ve been treated by Jonathan for almost 10 years and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. He’s treated most of my family and friends too at some point. I have an old injury that I have to live with and Jonathan is a vital part of this. He’s very thorough so not only treats the issues but gives me exercises, looks at footwear with me etc. The clinic is also well located and with a welcoming atmosphere.

Excellent tailored treatment. I came to the clinic with several pain points, mainly running related. A combination of treatments including acupuncture helped to resolve the issues over a period of just a few weeks. I would highly recommend this clinic for all types of therapy, not just for running injuries.

Having suffered back pain, sometimes almost disabling so, for some 25+ years, with fairly indifferent and expensive treatment for the first 5 years, coming across Jonathan 20 years ago when moving into the area proved to be quite revelatory. After a half dozen or so initial visits, the pain was sorted and I was able to resume a pain free active life. Of course, from time to time, in the nature of these things, there is the occasional relapse, but these are kept to a minimum with roughly quarterly “running repair” sessions which keep things pretty much on an ever even keel, for which, believe you me, I remain very grateful. Areas of particular note for me is that given Jonathan’s breadth of knowledge, experience and ongoing clinical self-development, his treatment can be very patient specific – for example, I recently experienced acupuncture at the Clinic for the first time, not something I’d have previously considered, but very reassuring during a more bracing relapse. Another thing is that, in my view, Jonathan’s fees taken together are really quite reasonable in that, in all the time I’ve known him, he has never attempted to “milk” them (by tacking on additional unnecessary sessions), and I know has always taken a very dim view of such practices. To finish, although I’ve never been treated by Jonathan’s wife, Simin, I believe their approach to clinical practice is very much a shared family one, and one which I understand privately is also very well regarded.

Thanks again for your recent treatment of my tennis elbow. I had been in constant ache on my right arm for almost a week. Feeling was like a constant cramp in the muscles, forearm and moved towards shoulder and chest. Prior to this, they had treated me for what I thought was frozen shoulder which I had suffered for almost 10yrs. Within a few months the issue was resolved. I really appreciate their professional approach to each case and most importantly their integrity. The first session of my tennis elbow was very detailed. Investigating when it began, how, and where the pain is. After that they decided on a suitable treatment. Each treatment is different and I was informed step by step what they would be doing. As a runner, Jonathan was recommended by a friend to help me with various lower leg issues and injuries I was having during marathon training. With initial treatment and maintenance since, Jonathan has literally kept me running - not only through the treatment itself but offering advice, guidance and encouragement. Rather than simply addressing the symptoms he also take a more holistic approach to general well being and hopefully preventing further problems.

Today went to see what's wrong with me as I am in constant pain... He asked me question and didn't even treat or didn't even diagnosis the problem properly ... I was expecting him to let me know what exactly my problems are ... But after me explaining very in detail of my pain ... All I left with disappointment with the service. I was called inside so delayed and he was so rush to send me when the next person came . He didn't even do a proper chiropractic session for my pain . Seriously I thought he would find the root cause of pain and suggest me and treat me . But he said he didn't know ..after having 20 years of experience he said he have . Appointment was only 20 min all went for talking. Feel like complete waste of money . Atleast he could have found out the cause of problem... But felt like waste of time and money .
