The male staff member with a top knot was rude, disrespectful and threatening towards my friends and I. He targeted my friend who suffers from social anxiety and threatened to ban him because we accidentally overstayed our 1 hour slot (this was our first time at the NBC). We will NOT be returning to theNBC and are heavily disappointed with the treatment we were shown.

Arrived 2pm to wait for an hour for room...had I realised it was cashless I would never of booked...I pay cash everywhere and to pay for a coffee on my card is inconvenience and silly when I had the right money...Food wasn't nice, had a sandwich whilst waiting for room to be ready. All I tasted was marg, coffee weak... Got to our room, basic but nice, bed comfy..breakfast wasn't nice though...all in all not the best place to stay

I didn't stay at the NBC, so wouldn't know what the room is like. I played in the hall which is really nice for those that play badminton, great bounce good height. It is about £14 an hour there. The gym is simple, nothing fancy.

Great place with the history of being the centre of the badminton head quarters. Great museum on the history of badminton through the years with great exhibits of rackets and photo's, and detailed explanation on the history of badminton. Great hotel lodge at the centre too, with huge rooms and a big queen size beds, and what could be more than enjoying their breakfast which is excellent, If you want to escape the noise of drunk people around the city centre at weekends, head for this place for peace and quiet. Would highly recommend this place both for badminton and to stay.

I love this gym. The membership fee is decent and all the classes are included. It's rarely busy at the times that I go ( early AM) so I don't have to wait to use the equipment. The Hit studio is great and I particularly recommend the yoga classes. I don't do them but the spin classes are very popular and you must book your space early. Another bonus is staff and most guests take the sanitation of the equipment seriously with antibacterial spray used before and after every piece of equipment is used. If you are looking for a high octane gym with loud music and grunts this is not for you. If you want a friendly environment with a good level of equipment and classes it is.

Used the disabled facilities room this time, as hubby has mobility problems. Great for us both....and all the staff were lovely. Visited during 'big freeze' and room was toasty. Thankyou

Room was exactly as expected and bed was comfortable. Reception staff very friendly. However the breakfast…..food itself was a little cold just like the greeting. My wife was very polite and said good morning to the women that was there. As she looked at my wife and completely blanked her we thought she probably didn’t work there. Turned out she did when she appeared behind the counter. I made the fatal mistake of asking if there was any fried eggs. And had my head bitten off for it as the women promptly told me no we don’t before i had chance to finish. My wife asked politely where the hot water for the tea was. No response, and shoved the kettle at her. As we were sat down wondering what we had done wrong. A very polite lady walked in, made a coffee and as she left said, have a lovely day…..again zero response from this women. We always say thanks when we leave. But we were afraid of getting our head bitten off. Id understand if the women was undergoing some kid of personal stress. But there really is no need to treat people like that. If it wasn’t for everything else being fine, this women would of earned a 1 star I’m afraid.

Stayed here because we booked last minute tickets to a concert. I was very impressed with the rooms and the facilities available such as the gym and sauna and all the staff were very helpful. The king size bed was the most comfortable sleep I’ve had for a while and the sky channels on the TV were a nice addition. While a comfortable stay I feel there is room for improvement in some areas, for example the bathrooms in the rooms were quite outdated but for a one night stay it wasn’t that much of an issue. The breakfast had a good selection of foods including both English and continental options however by the time we got there at 09:15 the beans and mushrooms were cold. I do feel that £250.00 was quite expensive for a one night stay, but if you take all the facilities in to account it does somewhat balance out. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Milton Keynes but perhaps next time for just the one night I’d definitely put in some more prior preparation and planning and would perhaps would get better value for money if I stayed here for longer. Overall a good hotel and a great place to lay your head after a busy day, would recommend :)

Only stayed here the once and was nicely surprised by it. Have a few colleagues who recommend it, so I gave it a go. The gym was a nice added bonus. The major downside was that there is no Evening Meal on offer, so after a hard day's work, you still have to go out again to eat, which is not ideal. Breakfast was on offer which gad a nice selection.

Our room and facilities were clean and modern. Breakfast was good, either continental or full English. Parking was good, large car park. Cost was very reasonable. We chose this hotel as we were visiting Bletchley Park and the surrounding area. Will definitely visit this hotel again.

The gym is decent and good for the price you pay but the staff are quite and don't really care what goes on past the reception. Every now and then a staff member might come in to fill up a water bottle but that's about it. The equipment keeps being broken and takes a while to fix which is understandable but shouldn't happen in the first place. I've called them multiple times to talk about my membership and was told the first time within 3 days I will get a call back and never got anything 2 weeks onwards I called again and nothing here I am today a week after leaving yet another voicemail and writing a review that could have been better had they just called me back for a call that takes a couple minutes but I have to wait 3 weeks poor service.

Great badminton courts, good gym and friendly staff. Rooms are a decent size with very comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Good value for money just a little bit basic I guess this is reflected in the price.
