My friends in London highly recommended us to visit the Regent’s Park if we would like to see the best city view. The walk to the top where people can see the spectacular view wasn't too hard even though I was in my 7th month pregnancy. The arrangement & maintenance are well-planned and great.

This park is world class. The location is superb. The park has sprawling fields, exquisite gardens, an open air theatre, water, playing fields, a zoo, impressive playgrounds, places for food/coffee/snacks. Frankly it’s an absurdly excellent park. In terms of amenities offered I don’t think anything in London compares. Whether you have a specific activity in mind or you just want to go for a walk, Regent’s Park is outstanding.

Stunning park right in the centre of London, one of my favourites, not too crowded. Lots of nice places like the rose garden. Very green and lush. Lots od nice plants and flowers. Places to play football. The theatre is amazing too. Easy to park for free nearby in evenings.

Beautiful park that I walk through so often. Glad to live locally as there is so much to see. It's very peaceful in the early mornings, love visiting during spring when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. The rose garden is beautiful too!

Lovely big open park. The cafe by the boating lake is lovely and serves a nice coffee at a reasonable price. The toilets were good too on the other side of the park.

Beautiful park ! Lovely walk through to a Zoo!!! Yes a massive Zoo in the middle of London only 15 minutes walk from Camden Market too! Brilliant. Keeping the Zoo real . It's about the animals and that's brilliant. Chessington Zoo turned into a theme park . Regents Park love the animals so massive respect to all of you who work there . Love ❤️ you all . X

Absolutely enjoyed it! I visited here on Sunday morning, it wasn't very crowded and except for some runners and cyclists there were not many visitors around. The scenery was beautiful, I specifically enjoyed the rose garden and the lake. There are many beautiful trails both for walking and for cycling. There is a cafe next to the rose garden in the center of the park. Also, there are many open spaces where people had tented.

One of the most beautiful park I have ever seen. It is green everywhere. The park is filled with many beautiful trees, flowers, and bushes. This place also provide live to many ducks and gooses. You can enjoy this place in many ways, by feeding the animals here, or by jogging around the track here, or simply by taking your children to enjoy the scenery. Recommended place

It is a Beautiful park to have a stroll or just sit and relax in or a picnic, It was fairly busy due to sunny weather. Lots of places to see the park is very big, the boat rides are really nice but not a lot to see because the area to pedal is limited but lots of birds and ducks and few fish can be seen. Great for passing hours on warm sunny days, everywhere the eye can see the natural beauty is just stunning. It's really good to have parks in London to get away from the traffic jams and busy lifestyle. 👍

Absolutely lovely park in Central London, reminded me of Central Park in NYC. Has multiple zones and a ton of things to do including the London Zoo. Lots of walking paths, quiet corners to relax and a couple of cafés although I’d recommend a picnic if visiting during the summer months. A few minutes walk from Baker Street station.

Stunning place - all places in the Park are Great but different in climate and style. Everywhere you can rest and relax - from paddling to live concerts - Roses .... you can admire and smell them all the time. Definitely one of the most beautiful parks not only in London but in the whole World.

Another brilliant park in London, where you have a feeling that you're deeply in nature, not in the biggest city in Europe. Lots of space for picnics, taking a walk or just chilling in the green surroundings. During the walk you can meet squirrels and ducks wandering around :)

Amazing park, nice to just walk around and enjoy the greenery. Very well maintained too, I always see someone cleaning or gardening. There are some new sculptures that have been added recently, with their descriptions and artist names too. Great that they are always changing it up in park. Before there was always a change in the flowers and colours. Highly recommend visiting this place, either for a picnic or some time to chill or even for a stroll/run. Gets packed on hot days but very big spaces all around.

Beautiful Park. Very peaceful place, lovely for walks or picnics. Such a joy to see ducks, swans, pigeons etc running around next to you ☺️ Pity I didn't have time to go round all of it, but the little we saw was breathtaking! Very close to Madame Tussauds and Sherlock Holmes Museum.

I really enjoyed exploring the park this morning. I live a block from Hyde Park but have not really spent any time in Regents Park until today. Lots of greenery and places to get a bite to eat. It has more tennis courts than Hyde Park. I’m looking forward to visiting the open air theater in 2024

Awesome park for all. Beautiful flowers and gardens complete with fountains and exotic miniature palm trees. Loads of swings and slides and other adventures for kids as well as vast open lawns if you feel like sunbathing or playing football or frisbees!

It's a nice little escape from the concrete jungle and a bit of a haven away from the hustle and bustle. There were a number of sculptures when we walked round and it was relaxing enough. There was a very articulate description of one of the sculptures, very bourgeois, then you looked over and a couple of kids about 5 or 6 year old were snaking it with a stick! 🤣

What a great social open space, no cycles allowed. Nice wide footpaths. Sports being played, cricket, football and exercises everywhere you looked. Lots of sculptures and things to see, even managed to see the zoo through the trees and got a glimpse of a feeding camal

Beautiful park filled with life. Every corner has its own characteristic. The rose garden, the pond, the waterfall, the vast open space, the flower’s aisles and the hidden gardens, it’s incredible how many different things a park can offer complimented well by the large variety of trees and flowers. There is something for everybody to enjoy either in summer or winter. It is worth the visit!

Regent's Park is a great park in central London. It's a great place to go especially if you are living in a flat and look forward to seeing some greenery and some fresh air. The Rose Garden in bloom is my favourite although there are loads of maintained gardens as well as open spaces. There is even an open air theatre which is a must have experience. Always looking forward to going back for more.

Lovely park - one of London’s finest no doubt. Beautiful, peaceful environment even on busier days when the sun is out. I have spent many afternoons here and find it very calming no matter the season or weather. It’s also very well maintained and pruned, which means that you get to enjoy it in its full beauty. Hope to spend many more days here.

Huge park with sports fields and large "pasture" to relax, exercise, picnic, etc. You do have a lot of room to run and jog and even bike ride. There are gardens on the perimeter, which can be really pretty. The only thing, is that since it is quite big, I felt like it had no securities for all of it. But that could've have been the day I went and time. Not that it was unsafe, because overall it was pleasant. It was just a feeling. If you check your map right, you are within walking distance from Camden and the British Museum. So overall it's a nice park to visit and check it out.

A wonderful spot! The park of the regent back in the day. Has a boating lake and several playgrounds to enjoy. Super easily accessible and is a great walk when going from Westminster to Camden and on to other places north, south, east of west. Great nature and many many plant and bird life. Bring some seed to feed the birds appropriately please. Great sunsets and one of my fa our it spots in town.

Really good day out. Loads of interesting animals in a compact area. They all looked happy and enclosures were clean. The restaurant had limited hot food, namely pizza or burgers. But this was an advantage as both were excellent and made freshly. Burger was of gourmet quality. Good range of soft drinks too. My only small niggles were the extensive building work which is cutting off quite a bit of the zoo and the absence of the famous aquarium.

Love walking around this park 💛 It's really well maintained and so close to central London. I spent quite a bit of time sat next to a pond and wrote a few emails was really productive. If your visiting London or simply in the area for your lunch break I definitely recommend! 🤗

This is one of my favourite London’s Park. It is a huge park with pockets of delightful green corners. Here I am only focusing on the Queen’s Mary Rose garden. If you like Roses, then you will pleased to know that you will find one of the world’s largest collection of roses.

The beauty of the park itself is more than enough of a reason to visit. The natural splendour and gorgeous scenery provide a perfect place for couples to take romantic walks or families to enjoy a fun day out. With all kinds of local wildlife roaming the grounds, there is plenty to see at Regent's Park.

Regent's Park is one of my favourite parks in London. It is a quiet refuge from busy London and easily accessible by public transport. It is a beautiful park for a leisurely stroll or a run. The Queen Mary's Rose Garden is a must-see, with thousands of rose bushes on the beautiful landscape garden during summer. The massive lake is a habitat for numerous birds and ducks. Come April and through summer, boats are available for rental for rowing on the lake.

Oh wow, what a lovely park! There is so much to see that you can easily, while a way a few hours, wander around this park. There's some lovely gardens which are very well maintained and lots of colour especially in summer. Lots of different paths to explore and a walk-up Primrose Hill is not to be missed!

One of the most beautiful parks in central London. Great for picnics. Open fires and barbecues are not allowed here. Easy access via Bus/Tube/Underground/Metro You definately gonna need few days/visits to discover all around and about. Unfortunately dogs are now allowed, except guide dogs! Public Toilets/Rest rooms are available.

Recently visited for Frieze arts in the park. Part of the park will guide you all the way to the London Zoo. You can enter from the back of Baker Street or GREAT Portland st for example. By the water you can see a little bit of nature . In the past the Park has offered some free live music. A more contained park than Hyde Park, but always a pleasant experience.

Not at its best at this time of year, but nonetheless a nice place for a stroll. Always strange to hear the roar of lions coming from London Zoo too! The Queen Mary Gardens is my favourite part of the park, beautiful formal gardens and no dogs allowed meaning it’s a lovely sanctuary to picnic, lie on the grass and hangout just across the way from Marylebone and the pace of the city.

The best park in London! What an amazing place to go to, if you want to enjoy the sun and relax for a few hours. Definitely recommended during spring to enjoy the cherry trees blossom, but also in summer to see the beauty of the Queen Mary's Rose Gardens. If you are visiting London, this is a must see

The Regent’s Park is the most beautiful of the inner London Parks. I last visited on a fine sunny day in March and enjoyed a walk around the lake watching the various ducks, geese and heron, before diverting to the Inner Circle and particularly the Queen Mary’s Rose Garden. It’s a bit too early in the year to see the Rose Garden at its best – I’ll certainly return in June, but the area around the Japanese Garden Island is still wonderful and the view from above the waterfall is probably the most beautiful in London. I did take a look in the Regent’s Bar and Kitchen. To be honest it looked a bit pricey for my liking, but I suppose that’s par for the course for this area.

The park is among the best. The flower trees are beautiful in March and April, and the vibrant colours in the autumn are a dream. Queen Mary’s Gardens are probably the best part, but Primrose Hill is definately worth the walk too. And do journey around the lake!

What a beautiful Park with something for everyone. Picnics spots, deck chairs for rent, benches to just sit and enjoy a gentle breeze, watch ducks waddling down to the pond and stroll along the gorgeous scented bushes of roses. Buy a ticket to an open air theatre production, bring your own snacks or grab a bite at the cafe, quite a selection of food hot and food to go. Lovely day in the city after the quiet calm of the midlands

Probably my favorite green space in London. There are so many wonderful corners of the park to explore, whether you’re in the mood for a jog, a place for your kid to play, a leisurely stroll, a romp with your pup, a concert, or to explore the garden and park design. The outdoor theater is a spectacular venue, and the queen’s rose garden is one of my favorite parts. It is beautifully landscaped with careful attention to detail. You’ll find ducks and birds, and other little critters milling about. An overall lovely multi use green space- go enjoy it!

Tremendous and beautiful park. It has a circular road where you can circularly ride a bike. Some buildings near the park look luxurious. In the centre of the park, it has a Japanese-style park and cherry blossom trees. Additionally, the lake can be used for sailing with boats. Very beautiful and famous during the spring season. Have an excellent time taking a break in this park!

I didn’t know that a park like this exists… Congratulations to everyone who made and makes maintenance on it! The details are surprisingly and made with surgical precision. In the morning, two workers politely saluted us. In my country there are not such things… Congrats London, congrats Great Britain. Indeed great! ❤️

This is a nice park, it is really big and it has toilets you can use. There is currently an exhibition at Regents Park as you can from the pictures below. It is so big that you can definitely go there on a hot day and have somewhere to sit and have a picnic with friends and family or even alone. There are restrooms you can use as well and a cafe there as well. There is also a playground for children as well. It’s just an all round nice and lovely park.

A large and beautiful mostly open air park with well tended gardens displaying a diverse species of plants and flowers. There are benches lining the wide tree lined boulevard. Queen Mary's Rose Garden is a small round rose garden with various flowerbed of roses and is located inside the inner circle of the park. During summer time the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre plays there.

(Translated by Google) At the moment it is winter in London so the rose garden and the vegetation of the place in general are quite decayed, but it is a beautiful place to walk in these times of quarantine and social distancing. My favorite place in the park: the Japanese Garden, which is a small island from where you can see a waterfall. The park is located next to Primrose Hill (park with excellent panoramic views of the main places in London) and is in the area near Hamstead Heath park (the largest green and natural area in London). The nearby neighborhood is that of the famous and rich, where you can see mansions and maybe if you're lucky ... a celebrity ... luck! and enjoy it! Beautiful park with soooo much to offer! You could walk around the whole park in an hour and see a wild bird sanctuary, a rose garden, fountains galore, statues, playing fields, one of London's most amazing boulevards, a zoo, a running track, cafes, lakes, royal gates and more. The perimeter road serves perfectly as central London's unofficial velodrome; about 5k long with few lights and plenty of pelletons to draft onto the back of!

Regent's Park (officially known as The Regent's Park) was once part of the extensive Forest of Middlesex. On the dissolution of the monasteries (1536-40), Henry VIII acquired the Manor of Tyburn and created a hunting ground, Marylebone Park, which covered almost the same area as the 400 acres which comprise The Regent's Park today. The chase remained in royal hands until the end of the Civil War in 1646, when it came under the control of the victorious Commonwealth. Oliver Cromwell sold it off in the form of leases, to pay wages arrears to the New Model Army. Over 16,000 trees were felled during this period.

One of best parks in London. Unfortunately it's always busy. Went for a run during covid lockdown and couldn't believe how much prices went up. £4 for the most boring vanilla ice cream. That's the price of Italian ice creams on the high Street. Still, nice place to run and have a picnic (after lockdown)

Love the zoo. Went early so a majority of the animals were snoozing or sone exhibits were empty. I would prefer to go to the 12 noon entry that way the animals would be a bit more awake, but saying that it was very busy and eventually we got to see animals awake after walking around for quite a while. No social distancing as its absolutely impossible as it was so busy, it was nice to be able to pet the smaller animals like the goats. Even though there are coloured routes at some parts it got a bit messy and somehow we missed out the zebras and giraffes but again will most likely go again on an inset day when there will be less crowds.

Amazing park in the heart of London. I’ve lived near Regent’s Park pretty much most of my life and this place holds many good memories from childhood to the present. Lots of playgrounds for children, walking trails , open space for sports , tennis courts cafes , quiet spots , hidden treasures , rose gardens boating lake etc. This park has pretty much everything you would expect in a top tier royal park. Very well looked after and beautiful. Also check out primrose hill which is right across the road with great views of London from the top, as well as a workout park with lots of pull up bars dip bars for callisthenics and anyone who works out regularly. Unfortunately no cycling is allowed within the park however the perimeter of the park is a very popular cycling 🚴‍♀️ spot and you will see tons of cyclists going round the outer circle doing laps which is cool. Lots of nearby shops and underground stations nearby including Regent’s Park, Baker Street , Great Portland Street , Camden Town . Top park 5 stars enjoy

Parked easily on road outside the park. Cost £11.00 for about 5 hours. Walked around rose garden which was lovely. The Japanese garden needed weeding and looked a bit sorry for itself but understandable. We had a takeaway coffee from the cafe which was ok and it's toilets were clean. Lovely to see so many people out enjoying the warm weather. Fell in love with a beautiful smelling rose.

A beautiful beautiful garden that is must visit. I've been to many parks in London but this is by far the most beautiful one and the closest to my heart. I love the roses and those signs with titles like " Free Spirit", "Your Lovely Eyes", and "Precious Time"... and more I went there several times for jogging but one day I felt like i really want a squirrel to be so close that he comes to me willingly and be friends before I head back to my country. And DUH! I just felt it happening when a beautiful squirrel actually started following me around and coming close , way too close and not afraid me of.. here we spent time together, around 1 hour. That was the most profound experience to me, cause i love love squirrel 🤍🤍🤍 It's a beautiful park that opens as early as 5 am and closes at 6 pm. It's less crowded as well.. compared to the hyde park. I love the sound of water running by.. it's so peaceful there.. And the bridge above the lake is so beautofully designed. Highly recommended park if you love nature.

Only really been here before when visiting the Zoo. But the park itself is worth a visit. The Cafe in the centre is nice and chilled with a decent range of options, and good amount of seating indoors and out. Park is obviously very well maintained and the Japanese garden is well worth a quick visit. Our visit was only quick - as we were waiting for an appointment - and then got caught in a heavy shower - but we will definitely go back.

On a morning walk with the sun shining down, not too hot, this is the most perfect place for a relaxing walk, or even a jog, or a bike ride round the inner circle. My morning walk round the park was spot on, very relaxing, and the ideal way to start my morning. I'd definitely have another walk round the park again next time I'm in London!

A very open and spacious park where people can roam freely and go to relax or meet up with friends. Holding picnics there is very common for people and as did I have one there. A place of such beautiful nature and a well kept place, the regent park garden is a must as there’s an arrangement of bountiful of flowers and streams and waterfalls that create the most beautiful of sounds.

Nice and quite little cafe in the park. Open early with fresh pastries, sandwiches, coffee, tea etc. Then serving through lunch with beers on draft. Tables inside and outside so can enjoy the sun when it is out. Lovely park surrounding the cafe.

A really nice breath of fresh air in the middle of the otherwise busy city. It was such a joy to walk through the different parts of the park and was very breathtaking to see all the tulips in bloom. Would definitely recommend the park during spring time.

I’ll spare you one of my rants here (to see one relating to this area, feel free to look up Queen Mary Rose Garden). Regent’s Park is one of the more lovely London parks, sunsets over the pond or walks under the cherry blossoms at the right time of year make for a far more enjoyable experience than some of the others.

  • 5/5 Richard J. 8 months ago on Google
This park, which contains an open air theatre is massive and beautiful and well maintained. There is a huge lake to enjoy as well. You can hire deckchairs but they are not cheap. Take your own chair. There is plenty of parking within at a reasonable rate, reasonable for London that is. Take a visit and you won't be disappointed but rather possibly awestruck

This is a large and very diverse park offering a range of facilities for recreation. The northern part is more open parkland with less intervention in it's layout. It has wide open spaces for joggers, walkers and a large area of football pitches as well as a children's play area on the NE side. The area within the circular road towards the southern end has more formal design put into it with open air theatre, gardens, Caffè/Restaurant, Cycle hire and picnic areas. When I visited there was a wedding group there having photos taken. Then just beyond here you have many tennis courts.

Regent’s Park is a magnificent green oasis in the heart of London. Its sprawling lawns, vibrant flower displays, and serene lake make it a true urban gem. Whether you’re strolling along the tree-lined paths, picnicking on a sunny day, or visiting the world-famous London Zoo within the park, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The park’s beautifully landscaped gardens, like the Queen Mary’s Rose Garden, are a visual delight, especially in spring and summer. A visit to Regent’s Park is a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, offering a refreshing blend of natural beauty and recreational activities. It’s a must-see destination for both tourists and locals alike.

The arrival of winter heralds a change in the landscape, painting everything in hues of white and silver. Snow-covered streets and frosted trees create a picturesque panorama, turning ordinary scenes into works of art. The soft crunch of snow beneath our boots and the delicate sparkle of ice crystals under the sunlight add to the sensory delight, making every winter walk a memorable experience.

The Regent Park in London is a huge park that is over 395 acres and we visited here just before going to the London Zoo. I could see a lot of people taking advantage of the wide paths and there was a wide range of activities happening from those who were cycling, running and even walking their dogs. We arrived a little too early to go to the zoo so we came here and sat on the many benches and took in the view. I thought it was stunning and there were plenty of opportunities for photographs. I'd love to visit here again in the future especially during the spring to see the flowers. It was also nice to see a little glimpse of the zoo while waiting for the place to open.

Regent park is a vast field, it's really beautiful and it has lots of various location that you can relax, take a stroll, picnic, have some coffee or breakfast. I went there to show my sister around. We didn't manage to tour the entire park but anywhere it's worth visiting. My favorite is the Japanese garden🥰♥️

It's a bit "dingy" in places. But still a nice walk by the canal. It's cool to see the boats go by. If you're running or cycling here be extra careful, it's not fenced the whole way.
