We both loved it, what a great place! We booked a table online and were seated straight away. The lady told us there were 3 things unavailable on the menu as they had been quite busy lately. This is why I knocked off one star, but I assume it's a temporary and rare issue. When we go back I will adjust my review accordingly. The music gives such a fun vibe! We were served by Hugo who was absolutely lovely. He recommended which rums we could try and they were very nice (#173 black cherry especially). We had a starter of mac & cheese bites. Very spicy but delicious. For our main we had the curried goat, rice and peas and the curried goat hash topped with fried eggs. We were not disappointed! And it was a nice surprise when we got the bill. £38? Great value for such a nice meal! Hugo told us about the bottomless brunch and it sounds amazing. We're looking forward to our next visit, for sure. Thanks all at Turtle Bay, especially the chef and Hugo. See you again soon!!!

Visit Turtle Bay restaurant this afternoon for lunch to celebrate my partner Rachel’s birthday. We’ve been here before so knew what to expect. The atmosphere is UK meets the Caribbean (decor), the menu samples various dishes from across the Caribbean and the drinks compliment nicely. The staff where very helpful and attended to our needs. The gentleman even made up a signature off menu drink for us, which was a nice touch 👌🏾. During lunch hours 12-2pm it’s pretty quiet so seating availability is great. Thanks again folks ✨🇯🇲🇬🇧

First time having Caribbean food. It is simply delicious! Upon arrival the music was festive, the staff were energised and I was in time the 2 for 1 cocktails. One Love became double trouble very quickly. Thanks guys for a really groovy meal and experience.

Best Turtle Bay I've been to. The food and drinks were delicious with great service. Top marks also for cleanliness- no sticky tables and crusty sauce bottles here! Made me realise how grotty my closest one is (Bath!)

My recent visit to Turtle Bay in Milton Keynes was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. A perfect reggae soundtrack added to the ambience. The menu was bursting with fresh Caribbean-inspired dishes that had my taste buds tingling with excitement. And to top it off, it was Happy Hour, which meant 2-4-1 cocktails - what a treat! I decided to try the 'Fish Fry' and boy, was I blown away! The crispy salmon was cooked to perfection and the coconut fried squid was simply divine. But the real stars of the show were the cocktails - the 'Koko Kolada' and 'One Love' were my absolute favourites. As a pineapple lover, these drinks were the perfect blend of sweet and refreshing. Overall, I would highly recommend Turtle Bay to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a great time. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all top-notch and I can't wait to go back for more!

10/10 experience today and excellent service from Daniel. The food came out really quickly and hot, the new menu made us want to eat everything so it was super hard to choose. We loved everything we ate and will definitely be coming back!

Great service, staff were all friendly and happy to help. Cocktails were perfectly made although the cocktail menu was apparently out of date so some were not made how I expected but reassured they were better than what I would of got. Food wasn’t bad but my mum was unhappy that she wasn’t able to get a Mac and cheese dish that wasn’t spicy so ended up with just a plain burger that was difficult to eat as it was quite dry and overcooked. My jerk chicken was lovely though and all cooked just right! The dessert on the other hand was very disappointing. Poached pineapple. Pineapple was really hard and just didn’t look great.

First time visiting Turtle Bay. Before going I've been given a mixture of reviews about the place. I can honestly say it was a bit of hit and miss for me personally. Though the cocktails were amazing I will be definitely coming back for the drinks. Even better they had a 2 for one offer on the cocktail. Kinda wish it was applied to the mocktails also as they were tasty to. The food was nice but if you're expecting proper authentic Carribbean food it wasn't it. Though the dishes were good it tasted more like a Carribbean fusion as the dishes are inspired by them. But didn't give me true taste of the Carribbean. I had ordered the salt fish fritters which was partnered with pineapples. Which initially I thought was odd but when I paired them together was interesting and took the edge of the saltiness of the fritter. Which was nice. Though the sweet chilli sauce added on top was a bit much for me personally. The main I ordered the fried fish which was crispy salmon. I've never had salmon cooked this way which was nice but I felt it was under seasoned. Overall it was alright experience and reasonably priced. Though I felt the service could've been a bit better. When we arrived the first waiter said they would give us a menu and she never returned. Which resulted us to ask another server. Also the food took a while to come out. I would return but more for the drinks than the food. But glad I've experienced it,

All the food items were great. Went on a Saturday night, which was super busy (so service was unsurprisingly slightly slow). Venue had a nice vibe (music was a tad too loud).

Real nice caribbean-style place! The food is the meeting point of a number of cuisines, very well balanced in spice and flavour. It has a ton of really tasty vegan options too (not the usual "second-rate" generic token slop, but actual great dishes in their own rights), and drinks, both alcoholic and virgin. Has a bit of a beach bar atmosphere to it, the staff is pretty friendly.

This place is always busy. Finally managed to get a table for dinner. The place and it’s decor is very lively and refreshing. The menu is good too. The cocktails were decent - was low on alcohol and seemed more loaded with syrup. The disappointment was with the service and food menu. We went for an early dinner but half the items on the menu were unavailable. The frustrating bit was that the waiters had no clue and we had to order three times before we finally got to something which was available. The food that was available was very tasty. It would have been a very pleasant evening with good food and drinks but for the missing items on the menu.

Delicious food with a good variety of drinks. Very good ambience. The vegan jackfruit burger was okay-ish but we loved their vegetarian platter!

Great restaurant in the Hub with good variety of food and a great selection of beers! I went for the Trini Doubles for starter and then the Trini Chicken Curry for main with a side of dumplings. The food was great overall and had a nice heat to it throughout the meal. Staff were friendly and helpful however we had a variety of serving staff so could have been made slightly better with a individual sever rather than three. However did not take away from the overall evening.

It was alright. I had drinks with a friend and while we were placing our order, we were told that the minimum order for drinks is 2 cups per person which was a bit strange. I liked my drink though. Also, there is dumplings on the menu and apparently, it’s not the Asian one. It’s made with flour and I didn’t like the taste. The corn fritters on the other hand was good, I enjoyed it!

Excellent service. Was shown to table without any undue waiting. Prompt attention from Doreen regarding drinks and upon her return was ready to order food. Food came promptly (the restaurant was quite full) and was delicious Goat Curry Hash. Highly recommended. 5*

This was a fantastic restaurant to go drinking at, with a design truly invoking the Caribbean! The bar is very well laid out, menus are available there and the staff were friendly. Me and my friend enjoyed 2 for 1 cocktails, sitting in the comfortable outside area during the heat!

Had a bottomless brunch and couldn't have been happier. Katy D was our server and she looked after us brilliantly! The customer service was second to none, she was really friendly and accommodating even when we kept calling her over for an order and chat. Always smiling and happy to help. Drinks were speedy and just kept on coming. Woke up today in need of a new liver 😂. Great drinks, great atmosphere and just great staff. Highly recommend.

We had our Christmas party there, and couldn’t recommend it more! Made organizing a meal out for over 50 people, a lot less stressful than it could have been. Made preordering easy, and service once we were there was amazing! Also felt it was great value for money, with everyone commenting how great the food and service was! Shout out to Jessie, who made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

I was there for the first time with the family from the USA but we know Jamaican food. Unfortunately the ribs were not available on that day just after Christmas but we took advantage of the 2 for one cocktails which were good. The service from the adorable Prissy & Ana was bubbly warm, friendly and funny. They did their best to accommodate our little extra wishes & to make sure we felt almost at home. The next time we’re back in the UK we will definitely be going to Turtle Bay 😋

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff who are attentive and make you feel so welcome. Excellent drinks to choose from and the food is brilliant. Not authentic, more inspired which is something to consider when trying the menu. Curry goat hash, jerk sirloin or fish fry are my favourites, long with chilli squid and chilli brownie for starter and dessert.
