Really bad experience here. I saw one of their sports doctors who determined that I had a tear through my shoulder, which requires surgery. I needed a referral to see an Orthopedic Surgeon which I was told would be sent to me. Several days later i phoned to follow up, the receptionist told me she'd follow it up and have it sent through, but I still never received it. I emailed again another week later to ask for it, and never even received a response. I have since emailed again to make a complaint and that wasn't responded to either. I've had to make an appointment with a sports doctor at a different clinic now to get the referral. UPDATE - TWO WEEKS after the below response they finally emailed me a referral. Literally a blank email with a referral attached and this is TWO MONTHS after my appointment with them. I've already had the surgeon appointment so this referral is useless now.

Brandon is a top notch physio that has helped me overcome many injuries. I have been recovering from a fractured ankle and thanks to his guidance and treatment i am back on my feet and feeling better every day. Would recommend!

I have had injuries since finishing competitive swimming 3 years ago which stopped me from running and lifting overhead. I've tried lots of different physios and spent hours researching to no avail. Nick has fixed me! I can run and lift again!

I've had an ongoing knee issue so my GP recommended Alphington Sports Medical. Dr Garnham sent me for an MRI and the issue was identified. Dr Garnham was professional and easy to talk to which was a delight.

My experiences with Alphington are very similar to the one star reviews I've been reading. Booked numerous times for an appointment and the first two or three they completely forgot to schedule it, I would show up and they would have no idea who I was or what I was here for. They would then imply that it was my fault. Practitioner recommended an expensive bone scan and after he said he couldn't help me and promised to refer me. I've been waiting on that referral for nearly a month. I've called three times and still no referral, they just say "it's coming". I have had shoulder pain for years and no one can correctly diagnose it, still, it's not as painful as dealing with Alphington.

Be careful if they send you for imaging as it will cost you $200 as a Physio referral is not recognised if you go to a bulk bill doctor for the same referral it will be at no cost they obviously get a kick back from the imaging practice.

$220 for 10 mins consultation. Dr. advised me to apply Voltaren for 2 weeks. If pain doesn’t go away after 6 weeks, come back. When I made an appointment, I’ve asked if this appointment is a bulk bill, receptionist answered, “If GP wrote a referral for bulk bill, it is.” GP did wrote bulk bill. But I was invoiced $220.
