Doctor Jason Lee was aggressive, fixated and unhinged. Total lack of care over multiple sessions and then wrote incorrect information on my referral form. Never consulted my medical records from my previous clinic and resorted to accusing me of aggression when I questioned him. Actually made me feel worse mentally and the stress from our interaction also affected my phyiscal ailment. Absolutely atrocious treatment from a G.P. Not worth your time and does not deserve your money.

First time here and was already told about cancellation fees for been 10 minutes late and I asked how this cancellation fees worked. The receptionist said that if its your second time and your late , you will get charged. Then I asked how late and he kept going on about if your late for five minutes that is understandable but not if ur late for more then that. He then said that that he personally hates charging people the $30 cancellation fee and will only do it when a patient is late for their appointments for 7 times in a month. What an irony. I also heard that the doctor is really disrespectful and not professional. Not coming back here and most definitely do not recommend people to come here.

I've seen Jason twice when I couldn't get into my regular GP. He is caring and thorough and very good at his job. Most BB doctors make you feel rushed but not this guy! Highly recommend. By the way, have you considered that a doctor who is running late is one who realises that despite the pittance they are getting paid from Medicare to treat you, they will take as long as it takes to address your concerns? That is the kind of doctor that I would like to see.

Went there for an urgent health visit as this doctor was the only one available through the insurance. Honestly I could have saved my money! The “office” looks nothing but a cheap store, I had a 2nd thought when I got there. Their system was down, couldn’t scan my insurance, couldn’t pay by card, only cash or money transfer. Now the doctor didn’t say anything I didn’t know already, I went for a professional advice but it was a little bit disappointing. Gave me some bloodwork to do I had to call them back few days later to see if they got them back which is not professional at all.

Dr Jason Lee has been my regular GP for 6 years and I have found him to be very knowledgable, thoughtful and thorough. He has helped get me through all kinds of medical issues and I'm very confident in his extensive medical experience. (To the reviewer who doubted his qualifications, his medical degrees from Melbourne Uni are on the wall! He only Googles things so that he can show patients pictures and info about their conditions, and personally I find that helpful). Also, he is almost always on time and I rarely have to wait more than a few minutes when I show up for an appointment. This is so rare, and I really appreciate it! He is not into small talk and that's fine with me. I would much rather see a doctor who is on time and 100% bulk billed than spend five minutes chit-chatting about my weekend and then pay $100 out of pocket for the privilege. I feel extremely lucky to have a great bulk-billed GP so close by and who I can almost always get an appointment with on short notice.

Had issues with my back and was told that it’s just a pulled muscle and would heal in a few days. Dr Lee never examined the issue and pain point. It never healed. I ended up going to another GP who put me through to a physiotherapist to fix my back alignment issues. Much better now, but will never visit Dr Lee again.

Very Bad experience with this unprofessional so called doctor. Kept talking unrelevant things and not ready to listen why you are there .Very negative minded and keeps talking the whole time and finally says Somebody is waiting you have to hurry up when I just started to talk. Waste of time and money. Would not recommend this doctor even to my enemy . To sum it up visit the doctor at your own risk.

I have been seeing Dr Jason whenever I have health issues for years by now since this clinic was on Elizabeth street. Some of my friends said he doesn’t seem to take things seriously to prescribe medication or treatment. But for me, I like the way he gives me health advices. He gives me comfort not too worry about my symptoms but he is more than happy to prescribe medication for me too. He gives me choices but I guess he believes that we better trust our own immune system rather than taking medicine. He is also very informative through detailed explanation too.

Was in here about a year ago - they tried to charge me a late fee for their own Dr being late to the appointment!! I refused to pay it and refused to pay my medical bill until they removed the late fee, as they did. Weirdest and most unprofessional practice I've ever been into.

I made appointment a week ago to get a script from this practice. I did my blood test to make sure I was healthy enough for this medication. I rang explaining I don't have enough time to have another appointment to receive my script in time as I am nearly out of medicine. I asked to have a script emailed to the pharmacy so that I don't run out of tablets. The receptionist didn't understand the urgency of the issue in anyways. He also wouldn't let me speak to the doctor or said he wouldn't speak to the doctor about the urgency of this issue. The fact your willing to leave me without medication is appalling. Literally never encountered this ever. Have some adaptability to your customers issues. Your a medical centre have some compassion.

They said they would charge more for treatments lasting more than 15 minutes, so I checked the treatment time and left before 15 minutes on purpose, but they said 15 minutes had passed and they charged more. I was in pain and didn't have the strength to argue further, so I just left.

The worst clinic ever! Never ever go back to this clinic. The way Dr. Jason Lee treats patients is very disrespectful and careless. He was such arrogant and opinionated. Useless consultant time.

Dr. Jason Lee has on multiple occasions refused to acknowledge diagnoses from specialists and emergency department doctors. After suffering a rare and life-threatening reaction to some medication which hospitalised me for a number of days, he refused to believe the diagnosis I was given by other medical professionals. Prior to this, he tried to convince me that I did not have a heart arrhythmia despite my cardiologist's diagnosis. Go to this doctor for a cough or a cold, but don't expect to have serious health issues taken seriously.

Patronising and childish. Will not offer any medical advice but will belittle and negate your symptoms while refusing to help you in any way. Upon reading other reviews, I have no idea how this guy still has his medical license..?

I booked a flu shot appointment since it's free in Victoria. However, when I filled out all the information, I was told I will be charged for Doctor consultation fee with the "free flu shot" . They didn't have nurse appointments.

Telephone is not working as I needed to call in to make changes to my appointment time - receptionist was not helpful but trying to push my appointment later. It wasn’t my fault that their telephone is not working and thus causing appointment time changes. When I challenged them why their telephone is not working they didn’t acknowledge it’s their fault but decided to put the matter under the rug.

this gp is ridicules, just please DONT GO!!!They open the telephone consultant on the website and call me only once in the morning without any email or text messages informed. They said they are not able to get me on telephone and I was so sick and I had one day off for work, they refuse to get me medical certificate as I can’t have the appointment, which is totally resulted by them.

I’ve visited here many times in the last twelve months and really appreciate Dr Lee’s honesty and direct answers. He is highly knowledgeable and good at problem solving. It’s so good to find a professional bulk bulling GP. I don’t like small talk and wasting time and I feel that perhaps Dr Lee is the same, which may explain some of the negative reviews.

Can highly recommend Dr Jason. I have been to see him twice now and both times he has been extremely informative, has talked me through the conditions, and has given me quick solutions. Not sure why there are bad reviews as he is very friendly and a great doctor!

I came in with a concerning number of potentially life threatening symptoms all linked to a chronic health disorder. He refused to look at any of my symptoms, repeatedly spoke over me and played down my issues. He referred to my dislocating thumb and loose joints to "like when they escape handcuffs in a movie", making light of issues that cause me daily agony. It took my partner speaking up for him to listen to anything I was saying. Not recommended if you're a woman seeking pain treatment or why you've been ill for over a decade.

I went to see the doctor because my son was unwell and crying for few hours. Doctor said he is absolutely fine without even properly checking him. He just DID NOT LISTEN and my son ended up crying the whole night. Next morning I took him to another GP and he did have infection and was prescribed antibiotics!

I was having a very sharp pain in my shoulder, and went to see Dr. Jason to seek further advice/test. (The worst decision) He didn't even look at it, and told me very rudely that he couldn't fix my shoulder, that he didn't think that my shoulder was that bad compared to other patients that he had had in the past, and his advice was that I had to stop my workouts. I asked if I could get an ultrasound or a further test as the pain was very strong, and he rudely emphasised that it was a matter of time. 5 months after, I came back again to see him as I couldn't even dress up with my shoulder, it got really worst. He then decided to refer me for an ultrasound, and saw it coming I have a ligament torn a few milimiters. The injury could've been picked up 5 months ago by an ultrasound, and it potentially wouldn't be as bad as it is right now, I'm feeling so angry at myself by believing in his poor advice. As a result, I went to see another GP and it was a very different experience for me, he took the time to explain to me thoroughly what happened to my shoulder, what to do to in order to fix the injury, and his experience has been a complete game changer for my recovery. I will never ever come back to see such an unprofessional, arrogant and rude "GP".

One of the worst experiences ever with GP, unprofessionalism, weird combination of arrogance with lack of self confidence, ignorance, zero desire to help and do their job, and more and more..... Highly unrecommeded

Have been going for a couple years. Dr Lee is straightforward, informative and professional. Have felt very assured and informed making medical choices after consults and have appreciated his concise manner, have never felt uncomfortable in his office.

Started seeing Dr Lee recently for a variety of issues - he's always been very friendly and approachable, and I've had a good experience each time I've gone there. He's more interested in giving you real solutions to your problems than dazzling you with medical jargon: his approach to diagnosis is straightforward and if you're feeling worried, he quickly reassures you about any of the symptoms you're experiencing. Overall great doctor and clinic. Would recommend to anyone looking for a professional (but also personable) doctor in the city.

Dr. Jason Lee is very kind and explains everything so well. He is the best GP I've met in Melbourne so far. I'm an international student and all the GP's I've met before weren't kind at all. 5 stars for Dr. Jason Lee's great service

Not sure what happened to this clinic, used to be great but has just gone down the drain. First they remove phone appointments without telling any of their clients, now they close shop but still let you book an appointment. Booked for today just yesterday to get there and see a note saying shut from 11th to 24th Feb. There goes close to $30 in ubers for nothing. And you more than likely have some little note on your website too but the average person isn't going to read the ins and outs of your website each time they book at their regular clinic, especially when you accept the appointment! Never returning here

Worst experience so far in terms of visiting a Gp/Doctor in whole Melbourne!! Very rude and unprofessional behaviour by the receptionist (who is apparently the brother of the GP) at Vita Medical centre. On mentioning the bad experience to Jason Lee (GP) himself, he says he knows his brother is rude and other customers have had similar experience, but he is very ok with this. When I mentioned I will be giving reviews on google based on my experience, his replied bluntly that he has been doing this for 10 years and customer review/feedback and satisfaction means nothing to him !!! Totally shocked at this arrogance. How do you even run a business with that mindset!!! If prime CBD location and bulk billing was not a thing, they would not have a single returning customer. And not to mention, had to wait for an hour to see the GP with booked time slot as usual. In summary, very basic GP and super arrogant customer service in West Melbourne. Please save your time and go somewhere else!

I felt puzzled and uncertain upon leaving. I can't determine if he is knowledgeable or not because I have no medical background, but I can definitely say they are unprofessional. Most of the time, he went on Google to search. He skimmed through for a while and read to me some words. He repeated the same thing, which I can easily find on Google on my own too. I found some similar reviews, which I thought I had already written myself. I even suspect whether the person I met was a real licensed doctor or simply filling in for the busy one. I won't go back.

My mothers medical certificate was given to fill it out since 3 months it’s not be filled out to claim Bupa insurance for hospital admission. Whenever I call them and go there the receptionist is not aware of it I think he lost the forms which I have given him to fill it up. He always gives excuse saying doctor didn’t fill it out yet. Very rude behaviour of the receptionist

This is the hospital my husband went to after suffering from vomiting and diarrhea for three days. After hearing my husband's symptoms, the doctor explained them in detail, diagnosed him quickly, and gave him an injection to stop the vomiting. He is getting better. I was worried because it was my first time visiting the hospital overseas, but I am thankful for the quick action. I would have suffered less if I had come earlier. That thought. The person at the desk who answered all my questions and the doctor who gave clear answers were all trustworthy and friendly~ 👍👍👍
