I used to think these guys were pretty good and I spent a lot of money with them over the last 9 months outfitting a 150 Prado. (Bull Bar, Winch, Snorkel, Side Steps, Suspension, Underbody Protection, Roof Rack, Recovery Points, Lights, Dual Battery etc.... All was good until I had a problem with the TJM HD Front 2" Lift Springs on my 150 Prado. Within weeks of fitting the front sagged 15mm from the installed height. TJM blamed the drop on the extra battery I had fitted. The battery weighs under 30 kg and when TJM fitted the winch they were told that I would be installing a 2nd battery once I worked out what type I wanted. The suspension is supposed to have a 3 year warranty and I persisted with the issue and eventually TJM head office offered to supply and fit some spring spacers under warranty. When I went to pick up my car the thieves at TJM Peninsula charged me $200 labour to lift my suspension back up to the height it should have been right from the start and then I had to pay another $77 for an alignment. Very very disappointing and needless to say I wont be back to this store. My car was just 25mm higher than standard with their 50mm spring. I have many TJM products on my vehicle and I am happy to discuss the pros and cons of the products and dealings with this TJM dealer. Next vehicle will be ARB all the way Latest Update I purchased Phillips X-Treme Vision H11 and HB3 Halogen Globes which come with a 12 month warranty. 7 months into the warranty both low beam globes failed within days of one another. Phillips told me to take them back to TJM Peninsula for a refund. I contacted Michael who is refusing a refund and wants me to leave the globes with him whilst he sends them back to Phillips. He say he will not refund for the product and will only give me a replacement. We were away when the globes failed and I have already replaced them as a safety measure meaning a replacement is not an option. Michael must think it is ok for his customers to drive without headlights whilst he avoids his retailer responsibilities. Michael is all smiles and promises whilst he is taking your money but when you have a problem watch out.

Pretty disappointing when you spend $8000 dollars with these guys, and only 8 months after works were fitted, the spotlights they installed stopped working. No help was given when I asked if this falls under some kind of warranty. They tried to blame the fault on me asking whether I touched anything. Also tried blaming the fault on another company because they have also done completely separate works on the car. After having spent so much money with these guys I was hoping for great customer service which is what keeps life long customers. All they said is we are booked out for a few weeks we can have a look down the track and may have to charge you for it. Very unprofessional since the spottys are top quality and they shouldn't be having issues already. If they were more than happy to have a look for me I would of happily gave them more business. But not now mate. Cya later thanks for coming

Michael offered me a used "Darche High-View 2" Roof Top Tent from their showroom to a fair price including installation. Nice guys and they give good informations about their products. Anyway, I had a problem a few days later with the RTT (the sides from the tent came off) and Michael told me to drive directly to Darche to get it fixed and to keep up the warranty. When I arrived after a hour at the Darche warehouse, they told me TJM is responsible to fix it and not them, but they helped me anyways. So I travelled a hour because of a false information and nobody wants to be responsible. Stressful situation.

Ive been going to TJM Peninsula (Carrum Downs) for the passed couple years now since getting my HZJ105 Landcruiser. They're a great team, incredibly switched on and will be able to answer any question or concern you have. They're very competitively priced, considering they're in the top 3 major 4x4 accessories suppliers. Never had a bad experience and plan on coming back indefinitely!

So frustrated by the lack of customer service follow-ups. Great products deserve better service.

The guys at TJM Peninsula are a great bunch of blokes they seemed very knowledgeable regarding their products & 4wdriving in general, i have purchased a fair amount of accessories from Michael the owner over a 3 year period and have always received great advice & the products have always performed as they should. Fitting of the accessories has always been spot on & my car always looked after, will definitely keep shopping there for my goodies keep up the great work guys cheers.

This store is by far the best 4WD shop in the South east of Melbourne, great service and advice as well as a great selection of equipment. I've taken 2 cars now into TJM, had them both fully kitted out with 4wd gear and haven't had one single drama. The team down at TJM are a great bunch of guys and I will be continuing using them in the future.

Disgusting customer service. Did not get acknowledged at all. Walked in he looked at us with no acknowledgement, then proceeded to make a phone call. We waited for awhile, then walked out. We were there to spend at least $200. Never again.
