Bar

👍👍 Awesome underground bar with amazing live music and drinks! Great atmosphere and service. This is a perfect place for a date, it's a small bar so it might be challenging to find seating with a group unless you split up. Very nice underground bar! We loved the atmosphere and the singer. The bartenders were very friendly and nice. Would go back for more! If you want good blues in Adelaide, here’s the place for you.

Great little bluesy dive bar with extras! Fantastic live music, free pool table and some private nooks if you want to get out of the crowd. It does get busy though, so get in early if you want a seat. Bar staff are great, really friendly and welcoming. The food is actually really amazing too. Highly recommend the burgers and wings!

Excellent little bluesy dive basement! Great place to forget about the world above and just fall into a blue mood. Cocktails are out of this world! Staff are friendly and very helpful (shout out to Jack!). Make sure you have a Philly Cheese Steak too.

I had so much fun in this down stairs jazz bar. I have visited while a band played and prior to a ban appearance. There is a pool table and a small dining / drinks area. The main bar houses the band, seating and standing areas. The sound is perfect, the drinks well priced. I don't like standing and was lucky enough to get a seat. Toilets are up stairs near the nite club.

Located in the heart of Adelaide, just off Rundall Mall, Hindley Street and Gilbert Place. As you enter from the street, there are 2 entrances. The one upstairs goes to a bar and the one downstairs to the basement is for Memphis Slim's House of Blues. We went on a Saturday night and it was very crowded, standing room only. It was so crowded we could not get to the bar to buy drinks! Music was good, atmosphere was reminiscent of the good old days of blues.

Great small basement venue for live music. Went twice in one week while visiting Adelaide. One band played cover songs and one played mostly originals. Both were excellent.

Seriously, at one of the lowest points of my life, I stumbled across this place on a Wednesday night. It was a quiet night, but I was treated like family here. We talked about blues. I requested a song that Steve didn't know how to play, but knowing the song he played a great substitution. Seriously if you haven't been here, have you really been out in Adelaide?? Thanks guys xoxo

Love the vibe here! Bartenders also know how to make a blood good cocktail. They have an interesting and unique cocktail menu. Live music was so enjoyable too if you are into Blues (per the venue’s name….)

Cosy, friendly staff and patrons good music and awesome bar staff. EDIT: was there last night, place was packed. I was waiting patiently at the bar to order a round of drinks for my friends, including an international visitor. Some young bloke started kicking me in the back of my leg...I tried very hard to NOT get involved in violence. End result...I GOT EJECTED. And filmed. Like I had been causing it? Your staff needs better training. Avoid this dive...what a hole.

I went for the Thursday night jam, spent about an hour there from 9.30 to 10.30. $10 entry, good drinks specials ($10 for a Sierra nevada), exceptionally good quality live blues music. Venue is a bit small, gets crowded quickly. Wrist stamp got ink on my clothes after it dried (be careful!). Great time, would go back and plan for staying longer.

The things you find underground, down a dark alleyway, on a Tuesday night in Adelaide... this place was a surprise, reminder that too many people take Adelaide for granted. Crowd and staff were all terrific, my drinking friends liked what they had and the chicken tenders were sooooo gooooood 🤤

This joint hops! Great band on night we were there - Matt Hawkins 4 (can they play, or what!) Two more groups playing that night at later times, as well. Loud in the stage/bar room, but they have booths in another room where music can still be heard. Bar staff were great, friendly and efficient. Drink prices are a little higher than a pub, but also cover the live music so are very reasonable . TRY THE BOOZE AND JUICE choose your liquor base, then they juice fresh apples to add with ice - unbelievably tasty

Great space, great people, great drinks. Not always strictly a blues bar, but good vibes nevertheless.

Great music and cocktails! They need a toilet downstairs though as those stairs are very steep and scary, especially after a few cocktails! Lol Try the philly cheese steak, it's delicious. Reminds me of my time in America, you will see some very talented musicians here dosing out the blues. 👌🏻

Wanted a chilled out birthday night with drinks, and this placed absolutely nailed it. Buttered Bourban is my new favourite cold night drink. Really friendly staff, such a good atmosphere. It's not a big place, but that doesn't mean much to me. Thanks for a great birthday.
