Wonderful park. Beautiful trees. Very secure and relaxing. Great creek that comes around a bend. Good kids spot with play gym and seesaw etc.

Hutchinson Park is reached via no through streets so is hidden and peaceful. When staying nearby we regularly visited and soon became friendly with locals we saw regularly. Popular park with dogs. First creek goes through the park, surrounded by large gum trees. There is a small playground reached by a footbridge.

Used to come here all the time when I lived in Norwood. Great park to take the dog or read a book. Thought a commercial building was being constructed on the edge of the park but that's actually a house

Great dog park to relax at, especially with any dogs. The playground is great for kids and theres a nice table for picnics.

Wombat Park - Who'd ha thunk it? Best little Park in the State - stream, dog bins, a wombat statue, good pups and sensible owners. Gets your urban dog stinking dirty and wet, just as they love it

There is boring stuff there but the seesaw isn't. Written by Isla, age 8

I go here regularly, as do numerous other locals: children, parents, dog owners, people utilizing the space. Featured are a cute wombat statue, creek flows after rain, lots of lorikeets, rosellas, magpies, 1 drink fountain with tap for dog's bowl [h2o supply currently affected by COVID19] and the Wanderer butterfly is nurtured and flutters about. Gum trees, Aust natives, flowering plants and benches make it an attractive park for all who visit. Off leash zone means freedom for dogs & they're all pretty well mannered/socialized/behaved. So are the owners! Catering for families with small children across a small bridge is a playground with benches and a table. I wonder if shelter for visitors, should it rain, be a worthwhile addition? I wish parks would incorporate bird baths even more than I wish this park offered shelter. It's a smallish park best suited to shorter visits as there aren't ammenities for washing and toilet.
