Gate 3 Anstey Hill Recreation Park

Park

👍👍 Joined the Wildflower track that starts not far from this gate than the unnamed narrow track to the west. There is an abundance of flowers from late winter.

Has 5 (asphalt sealed) parking spaces but there is plenty of on street parking. Provides access to a few walks

Good spot to start if you want to do the Boundary walk. If you head to the right and follow the Yellowtail trail, you will go to the Newman's Nursery Ruins with minimal uphill.

Big sign at the entrance showing the various walking trails, so plenty of choices. No toilet facilities. Small carpark.

👍👍 Semaphore at late sunset is deserted and quiet like a gentle muse. The white sand turns purple-pink in the twilight. The waves play peacefully with each other. Walking on the beach, those waves gently whisper into my soul and remind me of a meaningful and worthy living life, a life in which we live...

👍👍 This is one of the parks that impressed me the most in Adelaide. It's only about 12km from CBD. The most interesting feeling for me is walking around the lake, listening to the sound of running water and watching the flocks of pigeons flying in the blue sky. New and spacious children's playground...
