Perfect location for the family or just yourself to check out the small yet satisfying waterfall, and then attempt the treck up the Mt lofty trail from waterfall gully entrance. The views are amazing and so worth it!

Excellent hiking trail with scenic views. Plenty of rest stops when hiking from Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty. Some steep parts but not for long.

A good conservation park suitable for outings, hiking and animal watching and so on. Not sure if we can have BBQ there. Cleland Wildlife Park is here.

Huge area to have your walk, trip, or just a casual run. Got lots of trails to choose from, including waterfall gully to Mount Lofty. You have other options of trails with a very long trail. There are different graded trails ranging from 1 to 5. You can spot different animals and birds in the way. Also, if you are especially fond of animals, you can go to Cleland park route. Not to mention, 7 waterfalls are on the way, too. So. It has got all it takes with variety to choose from.

Had one of the best days of my life there, held a koala (buy ticket online in advance), and fed kangaroos in all shapes and sizes!! You come so close to the animals, like you would never be able in the wild. Lovely staff and many beautiful local birds.

An amazing place to relax, do your walks and pet some of the most beautiful animals on earth. Pet the kangaroos, give hugs to koalas and don’t forget to feed the animals nearby the lake!

Highly recommend! If I ever go back I will buy more than one bag of food. Not all the animals are ok with you getting close enough to touch them but the friendly ones are very friendly. We would definitely visit again!

A beautiful conservation park with waterfalls, lots of trees and swamp. It’s more attractive in Autumn and Winter, as more rains to make the waterfalls bigger and trees more colorful. It’s also a good place for weddings & ceremonies. Entry is free and there are parking spots onsite.

Great place to take kids! The Reptile House was very interesting and informative, and the wildlife abundant all over the park. My grandkids loved feeding the wildlife and it was lovely to be able to see a wombat "up close and personal" behind the glass in the wombat/echidna exhibit.

Fantastic day for the family. Interactive experiences (but book in advance for the ones you have to pay for, they book out quickly), including keeper talks while the animals are being fed. The close dead on 5pm, so make sure you don't get locked in. Cafe is a little on the pricey side, but is convenient.

Lovely zoo, if you wish to call it that. Im more along the line of conservation park. Lots of local wildlife that you can get close to, feed and even pet. Nice walk through the different areas takes about 2 hours. The variety of animals and view over the city makes this one a must.

First time in Australia, I went to this park just to interact with Kangaroos. They’re so cute and lovely. Highly recommend this place. The scenery is also nice, we can see the whole city.

Amazing park where the kangaroos and wallabies will let you feed and pat them. So tame even children can! Good parking, good paths for strollers and good facilities.

The highlight of our stay in Adelaide, Australia was Cleland National Park, with free-ranging kangaroos, emus, as well as Koala Bears and other animals in enclosures. The last time we were here, our son was 8 years old! He got the feed pack and had a blast feeding the kangaroos and other animals. Fun times to return here.

Best place to spend an outdoor day in Adelaide. Friendly creatures and a lot of fun. Feed and pet kangaroos, Emus and Koalas is amazing experience. Animals looked happy and enjoying :-) Stunning city view as well. Recommend for at least 3 hours in the morning. Enjoy!

Great place for visitors, they even have a couple of ♿️ to hire. Guaranteed to see, wombats, koalas, wallabies and kangaroos. Don't forget to visit the Cafe for warm scones jam and cream.

Stopped at the Cleland Wildlife Park. It was too late to go in so we just did the perimeter walk. The large parking has picnic shelters with barbecues. This is also a good starting point for the eastern walking tracks.

The first time I saw the rooes :)) Cleland Park is a popular nature park located in the Adelaide Hills region of South Australia, approximately 22 km from the city of Adelaide. The park covers an area of 35 hectares and is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including kangaroos, wallabies, emus, koalas, and a variety of bird species. One of the main attractions of Cleland Park is the opportunity to see and interact with Australian wildlife up close. Visitors can hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies, get a photo with a koala, and observe other animals in their natural habitats. The park also offers various educational programs and experiences, such as guided walks, wildlife presentations, and behind-the-scenes tours. In addition to its wildlife offerings, Cleland Park also features several walking trails that provide scenic views of the surrounding area. The park is open daily from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, and admission fees apply. It is a popular destination for both locals and tourists, and is well-regarded for its commitment to conservation and education.

The Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty Summit is a really nice walk however it is not for the new walker. Even though it’s only 4km or so, the gradient is extremely steep. With the track being used quite a lot it looks to be well maintained. There could be a couple more stops to sit at the higher points as they are the most testing but other than that it’s a great hike

The wildlife park is huge and clean! Kids enjoy the journey of feeding kangaroo, wallabies and ducks. The koala was huge and surprisungly it was active in winter. The only comment is not much animals... hope they will get more animals in as the enterance price not cheap.

Lovely place. Only 1 easy trail the rest are hard but the easy trail was enjoyable and the waterfall was very relaxing. Parking was a little tricky but I think that's because it was the first nice weekend after a fair few rainy weekends

We had a blast here. It was only a short drive from the convention center and we took an Uber. Be sure to watch the time as the park closes its doors at 5:00 and the road is deep into the forest. The animals are amazing and well worth the price of admission

  • 5/5 Danielle S. 2 years ago on Google
There is lots of walking tracks of different degrees of difficulties and the café at the top of Mt loffty has some delicious burgers. I did the waterfall gully walk which had lots of places to sit and just take in the scenery and listen to the birds sing.

We had a fab time! Kids enjoyed it, can take your own lunch to have a picnic. Coffee was good from the cafe. Lots of native animals. The kids loved feeding the kangaroos

Lovely park filled with local animals. Do get a pack of feed as that a great way to interact with the friendly animals there. Got to feed, kangaroos, wallabies, emus and even a black swan amongst other animals. The koala hold is a little pricy but definitely worth a try.

Fantastic but I wish drones were allowed in more parts as it could be a way to show this stunning area to tourists local, national and abroad. Drones are allowed in other states' parks so why not in South Australia?
