Hidden little gem of a place. Down staits under Harry's Bar. Ten dollar schnitzel and ten dollar 1 litre Stein's from 7pm. Good food and good selection of beer. If you are going for the specials then I'd suggest you make a reservation. Went on a Friday night and worth it.

Bustling watering hole in the CBD catering to the office leavers. I visit them often with my business colleagues to enjoy drinks in the evening. They have some excellent promotion each day of the week! Happy hour 4-7 is hugely popular. Most conveniently located on the busy Grenfell Street.

An outstanding experience with superb food and Beverage. Not a fault can be given besides the misleading entry. Definitely a must go on any foodies Adelaide list. Also, nit being a big beer fan, their smallest beer size is still quite large (you may view this as a pro instead of a con). 9.9/10

Love the place, great food. A bit loud in there, easy to miss from the outside but always lovely staff, quick service and great prices.

When you begin your journey upstairs at Harry's Bar and sit back relax with a tasty beverage and great view, should you be wary about going downstairs to a dungeon for a feed. ABSOLUTELY NOT. It's deliciousness with abundance. The steaks and schnitzels are not only cooked to your taste, but the toppings or accompaniments are right on point. The ambience of the place and service is friendly and professional. This is undisputed champion of Grenfell Street.

A lovely little place to stop for something to eat. I had the chicken schnitzel with the Aussie topping, which includes bacon, fried egg, and BBQ sauce, it was yummy. I also had a Geezer Pleaser beer. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and approachable, and we up for a chat too. I'll certainly visit the place again sometime.

Nice bar, friendly and polite staff, you get great value for your money. The beer is ice cold and the chicken parmi crispy and hot. What else do you need?

An amazing bar! Great food and icy cold beer. We were here today on a 40oC day in Adelaide and Jimmy’s was nice and cool. An escape from the heat. Friendly service. What more could you ask for?

An awesome experience all on its own!!!. Right in the heart of Adelaide, with fantastic deals on food and drinks - A different deal for everyday. Part of a multi-bar establishment, with Harry's Bar upstairs and Tattersalls above that, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The staff are wonderful, the food is yummy and the beer is as cheap as you'll find anywhere....

Hands down one of the best places for lunch in the city if you're after a great quality pub meal and a pint 🍻

I can't say much it's a secret!. All I can say is that the FOOD is incredible . Better quality temperature and Killa thick proper sauces. The staff don't discriminate like most places in Adelaide. Staff is so professional I loved it . I'm planning my third visit before Christmas.

Jimmys rules for knockoffs with the boys. Where else can you get a 500ml beer and a schnitzel for barely more than $20. Great rotating selection of craft beers on tap. Good atmosphere. Great bar! The mushroom gravy is some of the best I've ever had. Get it.

This place is an amazing find, hidden away but well worth every cent. The food is amazing, $36 for a schnitty and 1l beer, what more can I say. Highly recommend.

Cannot go wrong with a $12 pork schnitzel. Great little bar with a classic sports bar atmosphere.

Great place. Me and the co-workers go there frequently for lunch. Good value for money, fantastic food, and a litre of beer.

Jimmy (or Jamie) is an excellent host and serves a range of craft beers well worth exploring. Great basement atmosphere and the lunches in this hotel are always generous and delicious. A cosy hideaway from the workday city.

Had a great value schnitzel and stein on a Friday night special ($10 each). Choice of beef or chicken. Not the best I've had but a very good portion. The place is a basement with not great atmosphere but has a few big TV showing sport.

Jimmy's Bar & Grill, best little Beer Bar in Adelaide. Everyone speaks to everyone, a must do for anyone who like to experience real Adelaide friends. A definite 2nd Visit.

If you're looking for a cheap feed this place looks like a choice. The advertising in the street is deceptive (illegal) as you cant get a $10 schnitzel unless you buy a $6 drink which makes a glass of juice expensive. The plate is piled with chips and then the schnitzel is thrown on top of the chips. If you ask them not to do it like that you're told the chef cant do it different. Why 1 star - everyone starts at 4. +1 for serving size. -1 for meat on chips. 0 for taste. +1 for value. -5 for dishonest advertising.

Exactly what it says it is (although heavier on the Stein than the Wurst). Beer was good, cold, large and cheap. Schnitzel was excellent value for money. Highly recommended

Came across this this place on a Friday afternoon and there was a friendly bustling lunch crowd enjoying an array of well presented food. The signature full strength lager served in pints with handles was a treat to consume. As the lunch time rush subsided it was a pleasure to chat with Jimmy about everything from Covid to Olympic sports to AFL , NRL, NBA and NFL.Jimmy was a regular Ted Danson at the Cheers Bar. Thoroughly recommend it of you have a few hours to kill in the City of Adelaide.

Best steak we’ve had in a long time and reasonably priced too.
