My friends and I had a delightful experience hiring a buoy during a sunny weekend afternoon here. The booking and arrangements were effortlessly handled, contributing to a seamless visit. We opted for the Cheese & Meat platter, which, while tastefully presented and flavorful, could have been more generous in portion size. The beverages, on the other hand, could have been colder, requiring us to place them in an ice box for a period to achieve the desired chill. The staff exhibited a commendable level of friendliness and attentiveness throughout our visit. Overall, all good and we were happy with the time spent.

What a great way to spend a sunset evening! The buoys have an engine so you can cruise up and down the river and even if you’ve lived here your entire life it is a chance to see the city from a different angle. If you’re a tourist, then it would be even better! Great fun and can be as relaxing or as loud/laughter as you like. Options werent just bbq but you can also just have a table and sit and enjoy a picnic and drinks. Staff are very friendly and helpful, overall highly recommend!

Staff were friendly and gave full briefing on how to control the bby buoy. You can chug up and down the most scenic parts of the river and see iconic sights. Drinks must be pre-oredered and purchased beforehand. We had our own bbq on the boat but it took a while to fire up and cook the food (it’s a ‘bug’ but we struggled with getting decent gas supply). You can also order platters if preferred. You get over two hours on the river - which is ample time. You do need a dedicated driver who is prepared to captain the boat the whole time and must not exceed alcohol limit (driving licence required). There are fines for negligent behaviour. All up an enjoyable experience and definitely worth doing if just to view the best scenic parts of the main river section in Adelaide.

Fantastic experience. BBQ on the river, flying foxes all over the place at dusk. An experience in Adelaide I am happy I didn’t miss.

It was a cool experience and our group enjoyed it, however our BBQ was broken and only half of it was usable, the employee we were with was very nice and helpful and tried to fix it, but in the end it did not work. It was quite expensive for the level of quality.

We brought our own food. Utensils supplied. Great service. Very friendly staff. Lovely morning on the river. Lived here our whole lives but never seen it from this angle. Bbq cooked quickly. Drinks were cold. Good briefing. Overall a lazy enjoyable 2 hours

Great for something completely different!!! Order your drinks and meat and then float along the Torrens while you have your bbq and catch up with friends. A fun way to spend a couple of hours.

Was not sure about it. Wow was one of the best days with family in ages. Just a great 2hrs on The Torrens River. Cooked our BBQ Supplies on the side of the river, excellent. Our pre ordered drinks where the right amount for the length of time. Highly recommended, and will use again.

We spent two hours on the river, we were very lucky as the weather was on our side sunny yay! The experience was brilliant the staff was brilliant explaining everything to us. They supplied everything. Even check on us during our time in there boat. Would do again in a flash.
