Host: Wonderful, enthusiastic, passionate about her city, knowledgable and full of energy. Tour: 3hrs, did not feel that long, though remember decent walking shoes and a bottle of water. There were many stops along the way while Katina was giving us info on the various sites. For what we thought was a small area, there was definitely 3hrs worth of things to see and find good info on. And there are some absolute gems there. Who would have thought a library would evoke a sense of interest. Katina has a good clear speaking voice and her passion and pride in the city and what it has to offer shows through. Adelaide, you have a good ambassador.

This was a brilliant tour in the heart of Adelaide. Our “Welcome to Adelaide Tour” was run by Kat, a bright/bubble and knowledgeable local who is passionate about the history surrounding this great city. I recommend this experience for anyone travelling to Adelaide.

Excellent tour. Informative and interesting. Katina, the tour guide is professional, friendly, energetic and knowledgeable. It was a perfect fit for us as we have been to Adelaide a few times in the past as a stopover but never explored the city itself. Lovely, relaxed walking tour with Katina in nice small group. Katina provided the tour of Adelaide’s history, sights and culture in an interesting and informative way. Accessible friendly tour, we had our 9 month old in a pram and had no issues.

Staying in Adelaide for the TDU we booked this tour for a change from the cycling. Port Adelaide was a bit of a mystery to us but Katina’s extensive tour provided us a great insight into the port as it was and is now. Her knowledgeable explanation of the history and land marks was peppered with great stories of the people and events in the port’s history. We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 1/2 hours which represented great value for money. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our walking tour of Adelaide with Katina. It gave us a great introduction to the city with lots of points of interest and anecdotes along with a bit of history. Katina has a very broad knowledge of the city and her passion for Adelaide shines through. Definitely a good starting point for anyone visiting and a very enjoyable, not too taxing 90 minutes.

My partner and I have never been to Adelaide before so I had inquired with Katina on doing a private tour to show us all the hidden gems of the city. Boy she did not disappoint. The amount of knowledge, history and information she was able to share with us was phenomenal. I highly recommend the Flamboyance Tours ‘F Factor: Adelaide Food Tour’. Our knowledgeable guide Katina engaged and entertained us with the history of Adelaide’s unique food icons and gave us a new found appreciation of these unique products. Lots of samples to taste (yummy frog cakes are one example) or take away along the way as we visited the city locations where these foods are available. The tour finished with a delicious bakery lunch at the Central Market.

Thanks so much for the tour, we loved it! It was really interesting and informative and Katina’s lovely personality made it all the more enjoyable! The kids were initially not so keen to go, but when I asked my 9yr old son what he thought of it after, he said “I loved it!”

We were lucky to share a walking tour with Katina and a group of 9 on her first anniversary of hosting the Flamboyance Tours. Katina is a charming host who knows her stuff, paces the Tour well and seems to truly enjoy what she’s doing. While the tour is limited primarily to a small area of the CBD, there are enough highlights to keep it interesting. Don’t be put off by ‘walking tour’ as the walking is not lengthy or challenging for any physical ability. An enjoyable way to see the CBD and learn some history of the city at the same time.

We joined the F Factor tour today. It is very amazing. Kat is a very professional tour guide and knowledgable. She is so keen to share the every beauty that she knew to the participant.

A wonderful tour to be introduced to some of the historic South Australian businesses and amazing produce that is on offer in the heart of Adelaide. Had a great 2hour walking tour with Kat yesterday. We learnt some great facts about Adelaide her knowledge was excellent and the spots worth visiting. The tour ended at the Markets and on her recommendation the Portuguese tart was the best. After a drink we had dinner at a restaurant in China Town another recommendations of Kats. Highly recommend this walking tour to really see about the city.
