👍👍 What an awesome experience. Smaller groups (3-5 people) are the best way to do this. We had 8, and it was still good. The guide was very knowledgeable, and we all had a great time, despite the wind being a bit strong. Well worth doing this. People often mention experience, great, guide, climb, Adelaide, tour, views, roof, oval, amazing,

A wonderful experience. We did a game day experience which was worth the extra cost for the 2.5 hours. Our guide Hannah was great. All equipment and staff were very thorough to ensure everyone’s safety. We were quickly on the way up and watched half a game of footy from the roof. One quarter from the Western stand and then one quarter sitting at the southern stand.

Fantastic experience!! We got to watch the first quarter of a Gather Round game from the 'best seats in the house'. The guide was informative and relaxed. You can get the photos taken by your guide.

Very professional climb. My husband and I are both in our 70's and enjoyed it immensely. Guides, Tom and Dan were both very good . Tom did all the commentary and was very knowledgeable . Loved sitting on top of the stand to watch the Sheffield Shield ( SA VS QLD) Best seats available although a long way toget a drink. Would recommend it to all.

My husband has a fear of heights but wanted to give this ago. We booked the twilight climb and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Hubby felt safe and secure, but the nerves appeared when we moved from on top of the stand to under/edge of the next stand. (He kept them in check and finished the climb without any issues) Our guide was fun, friendly and safe! We purchased the full pack of photos which included the scenic images - very happy to have the memories. Highly recommended, especially the twilight.

Had an absolute ball! The twilight tour was amazing! Alastair was a great guide! There’s not many things that a 59 year old uncle and his 15 year old niece can do where both are gobsmacked! Highly recommended!

I wasn't expecting much as an Adelaide native however was really impressed with the experience. This was mostly in part due to our tour guide Lucas! His knowledge, sense of humour and passion were sensational and made the tour a pleasure to be a part of! I would highly reccommend this experience.

This is the best experience for any local or anyone looking for something to do whilst on holidays. Not only do you get to climb the roof of the best footy/ cricket oval in the world, but it's also very educational. Our tour for Holly was the best!

The roof climb on the Adelaide oval is something that I would recommend, as the views you get over the city are outstanding. The guide that we had was overly cautious, although knowledgeable about the oval. Unfortunately, we were not permitted to take mobile phones for pictures and were even advised to remove watches, so was not able to take any pictures of the view.

We did the roof climb after attending the NRL State of Origin the day before. It was amazing yo see the oval in a different light. Really enjoyed it. Our guide, Brayden was great. Cheers Kylie and Mark

What an awesome experience couldn’t recommend this anymore the guide was fantastic the lean was also an awesome experience

  • 4/5 Adam P. 1 year ago on Google
Not bad. Staff were great. The experience was so so, you only walk on a portion of the roof. The lean out is cool but I wouldn't do it again in a hurry for the price. They carry on about "take on the icon". Walking on a bit of a roof that isn't really that high isn't taking it on and it's a bit of a stretch to call it an icon.

What a great experience! See the City skyline and surrounding views as far as Airport, Port Adelaide etc. Breathtaking! And a unique view of the Oval itself. Our guide led our group of climbers so well, mindful of different levels of fitness and mobility. He gave a very detailed and knowledgeable talk of the Ovals history and renovations as we traversed the roofs of the different stands. Also giving us snippets of info of the history of our City. Photographs were taken of the group, individuals and surroundings during the climb, which can be purchased after climb, which ensures you have great reminder of your experience. You feel safe at all times due to extensive safety harness and the tethering whilst climbing. So safe in fact, that I think our whole group participated in the " hang out" where you lean back over the edge of a platform relying on the safety harness! Looks great in your photos!! Highly recommend

Well worth the experience. We did the twilight tour and the views plus sunset were amazing. Also the city lights as well. It was fun having Jake as our guide with his commentary & city knowledge. Thanks guys.

What a great experience. Friendly, informative and very entertaining staff and a safety first attitude to all aspects of the climb. You feel very secure as the views of this great oval, parklands, hills and the city itself can be enjoyed from a height. Well worth doing at a pretty good price.

Fantastic experience! I’m terrified of heights, however my partner is a crows fan, so since we were visiting from Victoria I figured for Valentine’s Day, we would do the roof climb for something fun and adventurous. It was a lot of fun, very well managed, beautiful views, I felt safe the whole time and survived to tell the tale . Worth checking out! Well done to the team for a enjoyable evening :)

Great experience on the Adelaide oval roof! You learn about some of the history of the oval as well as some fun facts about Adelaide itself. Great views from the top, and a great exclusive insight into the oval. Loved the lean out experience, and the photos. Be prepared that you have to purchase the photos, 1=$16, 2=$29 and all=$69. Overall great experience, especially since we used the great state voucher!

I experienced this back in 2017 (I'm from Sydney). Was truly breathtaking. I was lucky enough to have a solo tour as there were no other people booked in my time slot (which was an experience in itself). Won't ruin the surprise towards the end of the tour, but can only say that it's one of the most terrifying yet exhilarating things I've ever done! Staff were fantastic but you generally find that the staff at these sort of experiences are amazing! I can only hope that the experience is still run as fantastically as it was back then.
