Looked around google for brunch in Adelaide CBD area and the image of the corns stood out so much we had to give it a go. The atmosphere and environment was beautiful and the service was top notch. We ordered three different items and they kinda all looked similar but the sourdough they serve was so yummy! The coffee was lighter tasting than my usual preference but overall we had a great experience at the cafe.

My husband brought me here for breakfast to start my birthday celebration. Beautiful place I really like the plants around the restaurant it gives a warm ambience. My husband and I both from hospitality lived abroad and travelled different countries we both love food and drinks, I can tell that the lady who served us was very professional, the food and drinks served on time, the lady did not only serve the food but she is always come with her beautiful smile that makes us customers feel welcome. You can always find fast service in the city as they are use to many people, but providing welcoming and friendly service is another level. The food was delicious and coffee is perfect! Highly recommended this place.

The service here is next level good. The staff were not only attentive but treated you like real people. The food and coffee was exceptional and good attention to detail. They were also kind to any special requests. If you aren’t into the deep base of music, sitting outside would be a good choice.

Great interior and atmosphere but the menu was limited and pretty basic in my view. I ordered a large iced chai and received a very small one so had to order a second. Sides were also lacking, no hash brown, feta or smoked salmon available

First visit to Part Time Lover and we really enjoyed it. Service was amazing, drinks and food choices were good. Only a small menu but enough to choose from. We shared a few and couldn't fault any of them. We're really full and content. They're slightly pricey but only on a very slight scale. Would recommend it. Worth visiting with a part time or full time lover for a special occasion 😉

Top little place to discover. Classy, new and perfectly located near central Adelaide. The colour scheme, lighting and decor all reassure of quality, down to the fact that the staff are all clearly identified in uniform. Many seating options and extended hours mean this place is great for a date, a business meeting coffee or a meal with friends. The ambient trendy music was a little loud for my taste and the coffee needs a little tweaking, but I'll be back here for sure.

It took a little effort to find this place , but was drawn in by its reviews. It definitely was different to what I had expected- but in a good way . We were greeted and sat promptly, and offered water . The server was very pleasant and let us sit where we wanted . My friend and I had a light lunch and I had hot beverage as well . The coffee was from Five senses , which is a blend roasted in Melbourne . It is a little lighter than I prefer , but a good all round blend . I ordered the salt and pepper bug roll with the ranch dressing, with iceberg lettuce . I was able to order a gluten free option with the bread , and it was fried and crunchy . The ranch dressing was cool and creamy, the Moreton Bay bug deliciously moist and the lettuce was crunchy and refreshing- I know it was just lettuce , but it tied the whole thing together . I also ordered the popcorn broccoli with the vegan hot sauce , which was recommended to accompany my seafood, but I really could have eaten this on its own . The vegan hot sauce was very similar to a sweet and sour sauce , with a chilli kick , and the broccoli was coated in a tempura type batter , with a slight crunch , and the added texture of sesame seeds. I very much enjoyed this , and would eat it again . The whole menu is well thought out , and divided into plant , seafood and meat , with plenty of gluten free options. Part time lover mainly caters to the business crowd of the offices nearby , but I’m very glad I found it - definitely will come back again to sample more of the menu , as well as the cocktails- and maybe even eat that broccoli dish again ! And the service was friendly and personable. The only downside was that the music was a little loud , but that’s just my personal preference.

Walked past this beautiful place during the day and decided to come back at night to dine and we were not disappointed! Amazing food made better by our even more amazing wait staff Hannah - we felt sorry to the other tables for not being able to experience her energy - absolutely iconic! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Fun and interesting dishes, way better than the menu reads! Very attentive and friendly service. They honestly couldn’t do enough for you. Everything was great! Coffee, food, service. Top class venue.

I’ve heard good things about part time lover and I wasn’t disappointed. Every part of the experience was wonderful, from the minute we arrived to walking back out the door to the city streets. The greenery outside the venue is stunning and feels like you’re in a jungle, the food is great, & the service was excellent.

Attentive, friendly & super helpful service. The flavours were punchy & mouthwatering and I loved sharing the plates with my guests so we could try lots of different dishes. Thanks so much for a top night!

Honestly if you’re looking for a cool and MOUTHWATERING dinner spot, head to part time lover. So full we could barely walk after the $65 feed me menu and each dish just as delicious as the last. Corn ribs is a good way to win me over early in the game though. The pumpkin was another surprising standout. But that peanut butter chocolate cake at the end (we weren’t expecting dessert to be included too!) was simply to die for. Great atmosphere. Fun staff. Perfect for a balmy night. Rug up if it’s cooler though, the beautiful set up is a little at the mercy of the weather.

Gorgeous little hidden gem! I ordered the pork belly dish with watermelon and cucumber ribbons, absolutely mouth watering. Tried other dishes from my fellow diners and they're just as delicious and well presented. The manager and staff were very accommodating as we made a booking an hour before peak hour and they fit us in on a table by the windows. This one is definitely on my list for a revisit.

Great tucked away cafe in the heart of Adelaide's business district - perfect for a lunch out with a few cheeky drinks The business district is an underexplored area for me, and this place was a fantastic introduction. Tucked away in one of the alleys, this cafe serves vibrancy in all aspects -, through its food, its atmosphere and also the customers Packed to the brim for lunch and full of life; I love it We haven't even started with the food yet - amazing flavours with a great diversity of options for all dietary requirements (Vegans will particularly love it). The drinks as well were fantastic If this place is a representation of the business district, definitely expect me back and also to be exploring more that way Quality; see you again soon

Everything... food, service and atmosphere - Part Time Lover has got it all. I am not a person who is particularly fond of brocoli but the way they sautéed it is just perfect. Looks like a really popular venue as well. The queue for the coffee is really long in the morning. My friend recommended me this place and I am extending this recommendation to you as well.

Part Time Lover in Adelaide deserves a solid 5 stars from us.The food is a symphony of flavors but portion on a smaller side. The ambiance is a perfect blend of chic and cozy, creating a delightful atmosphere for an enjoyable dining experience. The staff, especially with Chelsea's attentive service, deserves applause – friendly, accommodating, and ensuring every moment is memorable. It's a must-visit for those seeking a trifecta of delicious cuisine, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service.

We had the “Feed me for a short time” chefs choice. Every single dish was delicious, but the corn ribs were an absolute standout. It was plenty of food for us and I will definitely be coming back. Such a fun place and menu.

Life changing beef carpaccio! Can be loud but a great vibe if you enjoy that.

Fantastic food with fantastic service. Could have ordered 20 of the scallops and the Wagyu was extremely tender. Sauces were flavoursome without being overly rich. 100% will be back again and recommend others to try

Have been here many times for lunch and have never had a bad experience. First time for dinner. Group of 5, so had the Feed Me option- OMG it was amazing!!! Very generous serves and even included dessert! Couldn’t fault it. Love this gem.

Amazing menu with very friendly and helpful staff. We were in a group of 11 people for a friend's birthday so we had the feed me menu for $65pp and we were definitely well fed! The restaurant had a very chilled, summer vibe like we were on a beach on a tropical island. All of the dishes were amazing, particularly the corn ribs! The serving sizes were also very generous; everyone was so full by the end of the meal!

Superb experience! Fantastic food and staff! Very cosy and lively environment with beautiful decor. I ordered bug roll (10/10), whitehead sashimi (10/10) and Lamb Shoulder (10/10), the best I’ve had. Staff was attentive and frequently serviced the table which I appreciated. Reservation process was simple and required a $50 security, staff was very welcoming on arrival and the experience was incredible. I will definitely be visiting again, perhaps for brunch next time and coffee breaks weekdays 😁 Highly recommend it.

Some good vegan options. Fried corn ribs and popcorn brocolli are a must try, so so good! Friendly service and lovely atmosphere. Worth the visit.

This place is a hidden gem. I love this place for its ambience. Most of the dishes I've tasted (as per photos) have all been delicious, with the exception of the seared tuna which had a watery base with seaweed placed on top and didn't really add to the dish, in my opinion. The grilled corn however is a must, as well as the Burata.

Always fantastic here. The food is brilliant - interesting & creative in all the right ways, plus super delicious, and generous! Also, great wine list, good array of regions & interesting varietals. And the staff? The staff are brilliant! Whenever I've taken clients, colleagues & friends here - they're still talking about it weeks later. Just book and go, you won't regret it.

Incredible! A friend and I had the feed me menu, it was so bloody yum! The food, service, atmosphere and overall vibe of this place was awesome. Had a really lovely Saturday night dinner here over the weekend and couldn't fault it. Can't wait until next time!

Gone for the veg options as suggested by my partner for a quick lunch by myself, I was not disappointed. Both dishes were tasteful and had reasonable portions, while the rice was a bit too dry for me. Services were quite good and I felt welcomed. I think I shall return to try more dishes even though they were pricey. A couple of weeks later we went for lunch again. Tried 4 different dishes across all three main sections this time, I felt their Plants or vegetarian dishes were outstanding compared to Meats and Seafood. Again the service was impeccable. I think we will try the Feed Me option on Plants.

Some of the best food I have tasted. Great atmosphere and vibe. Friendly service. Lots of great dishes to choose from. Was lovely not to be rushed and enjoy the evening. Gets very busy and quite noisy.

😐 American styled joint. Thick shake was thick enough. Chocolate peanut butter tasted so good. The ice cream was just a normal ice cream with a fancy name. Burgers are small in general.
