Julie assisted my recovery of two very old knee injuries, which had caused me to hardly be able to walk. After several treatments I was able to walk properly again, and have eventually built up with further treatments to be able to walk at least 3 km at this stage. She has also assisted with my bronchitis using both herbal medicine and treatments. I feel I am in very capable hands.

After many unusual symptoms and doctors appointments, blood tests, scans, ultrasounds that all led to nothing....which I guess was great news, but why did I still feel so unwell? I turned to Julie at Essential Acupuncture Clinic and WOW.....I have not felt this well in 12months. I won’t detail what she said or treated me for but I can highly recommend her if you are not getting answers elsewhere. My only regret is that I didn’t look to Acupuncture, especially with Julie, earlier.

Julie is Amazing! I was hesitant to try a different acupuncturist but Julie answered all my questions and set my mind at ease, took time to assess my condition and explained everything well. I've had L4,L5,S1 bulges in the past so this time I was experiencing pain and limitations from a flare up. Julie is very professional and kind. I was having bad headaches, after a few sessions, they have drastically reduced in quantity and severity.

I went to see Julie as a last resort for my skin. After going off the contraception pill, I was experiencing irregular/absent periods and acne. Spending thousands of dollars on procedures at skin clinics, LED treatment, extractions, vitamins and even prescription serums, nothing had worked. After just approximately 6 treatments of acupuncture with Julie, my skin is completely clear and I have obtained a normal menstruation cycle. Couldn’t recommend more.

I have had a number of back operations over the last 2 to 3 years and have had a serious problem with pain in my hip, piriformis, groin and going down my leg. I have booked in for another operation in Feb 2023 to have a battery-operated implant that stimulates the nerve to try and get rid of the pain. After a recommendation from my daughter, I visited Julie. I have no idea how it works however after 3 visits i have been pain free for the first time in 2 years. I connected with Julie at Essential Acupuncture for the treatment of chronic eczema, after 7 years of steroid cream use. She is the first person to ever tell me ‘I will get better’. No practitioner had ever said that to me about the eczema. I cried and I believed in her. Her treatments are relaxing, personalised (thank you turning the heater up to Bahamas every time) and effective. I was visibly different after 1 session and every session after that. Julie also mixed Chinese Medicine tea for me to support the skin to reduce the redness, which I looked forward to drinking every serve. The eczema has reduced from whole body to just elbow and knees. I’m no longer in pain and I am well on my way to eliminating the eczema rashes after 2.5 months of regular treatments. I am forever grateful for Julie’s expertise and treatments.
