Today Ashby I went to waterfall Gully for the first time I didn’t imagine it to be as pretty as it once today. It was very nice weather very peaceful walk a lot of people the border that nature is very Australian like represents our country very well. I recommended anyone that’s coming for the first time to see it with anyone that likes the country. This is the best place to go climb. You can have the breeze of the clear water and environmental with a lovely playground at the bottom with a restaurant and eating area with clean restrooms

Have been here many times by bike and car. This time we hiked from Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty. Scenic views. Waterfalls are small in comparison to many others but the best in Adelaide. Ample parking available and multiple toilets.

It was a beautiful walk and a hike at this lovely location with the breeze of the waterfall. We visited in the second week of July during winter. While the normal temperature was above 15 degrees, up the waterfall it was about 10 degrees. Relatively colder than the Adelaide city. There’s a great hike of 3.5km up the waterfall. This hike is over a steep walk. But the path is well paved and constructed. After a hike, you can have a great meal at the Utopia cafe located within the premises of the waterfall. I would say this place gets a little crowded during weekends.

The white waterfalls on the top of the mountain reverberate like soft silk in the middle of winter. From upstream, the water winds around the mountain cross the rocky rapids, and then flow like the flow of life. The high mountains bring the feeling of harmony in the murmur of streams, the sound of waterfalls, and the sound of birds passing branches on wild bushes. Everything is like a dream come true, resonating together rhythmically to paint the peaceful and pure features in the winter afternoon. Come and feel in your way. Update after another hike: It was interesting to see the second waterfall from many different points of view. It was similar to how we see life through different lenses. The parking lot is quite large but may not be enough on some nice winter days or holidays so we may have to park quite far.

Waterfall is right next to carpark, so it is very accessible. The only issue is trying to find a carpark. Just because the sign saids there's vacant spots doesn't mean there will be by the time you get their

Definitely worth a visit. A scenic hike on offer here, from Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty for the advanced walkers. Has assisted accessibility to the waterfall. Public toilets close to the car park are clean and upgraded.

Beautiful view from the base with no effort or long walks. However recommend you take the short walk to the hike and see Second Falls too. Stretch beforehand because it's steep!

Popular starting point for trek up to My Lofty. Parking can be a problem on weekends, may be easier to park further away and walk the rest of the way. Multiple spots where pedestrians must walk on the road so be aware.

Great place for a hike. Trails can be steep and narrow fairly challenging in some spots so remember to take water and wear the right shoes. Overall well maintained and great place for photos.

Waterfall Gully is suitable for leisure, hiking, bush walking and jungle jogging etc. The main attraction of it is the waterfalls. The mountain roads there are all very good concrete roads. Tribute to the builders of these roads.

This place is good only for a quick photo. Waterfall was a-o-k. There's a cafe nearby, but honestly just go to one that has a good view. Nevertheless, an okay spot for a quick shoot.

Completed the Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty hiking trail - its an amazing experience! About 7.9km (up and down) in total, showing great views and natural scenery. I particularly like the paved trail from start to finish. They really did well in designing the trail with steep areas and plenty of resting spots, if you wish to catch your breath. You need to be patient when looking for a parking spot at Waterfally Gully as the parking area usually gets full especially in the weekends but once you do, you will find the hike is all worth it.

A beautiful location so close to Adelaide City. The parking can become an issue during holidays and weekends, however the Gully offers various walks including an excellent footpath taking you to both the second and first Falls. A cafe is located at the carpark: unfortunately for us it was closed for Xmas holidays.

Just beautiful! Wide, flat paths and wheelchair accessible to bottom waterfall. Large accessible toilets, ample parking and plenty of shady spots. The top waterfall is 800m away, up a very steep hill, however, it’s manageable.

Absolutely stunning view. It’s quite steep, tiring for beginners, but very good for training if you go all the way up-to Mount Lofty Summit.

Serene hiking trail. Not too far away from city centre and pretty enjoyable. The footpath is a bit narrow so be mindful if you’re coming with children. Car park is limited on weekends so you plan your travel, morning 8-10am can be very busy.

A refreshing cool place during a heatwave, at other times the starting or resting spot of walking tracks. The First Creek is regulated in front of the first waterfall with stonework that fits the landscape.
