I didn't have any extra consumption, including the minibar. But my credit card was charged $9 after check-out without any notes. Hang do not disturb on the door, but still enter the room to clean.

Love the place to only bummer was the room we stayed at the blind don’t cover the window all the way so you could see outside. The light was also on outside and that kept me awake too. Edit: The room must have also been a new room and no one had used it because my dad had to use his private information to set up the tv that why I’m going to lower it down from a 4 to a 3 star review.

Don't be thrown off by the "motel" in the name. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at hotel motel. Our room was very comfortable - spacious with a comfortable bed and pillow, and a very pleasing color scheme. Most importantly, for me -- it was clean! There were little details of luxury too (i.e. fancy toiletries and iPad), and you really did feel like you were in a hotel whilst inside. Another important point is the location! You are right in the CBD close to the free tram and lots of cafes are walking distance away. You also get free parking, as a guest of the hotel. There are fancier hotels around but my husband and I will choose this one on our next trip back to Adelaide. Some more pros: super quiet, Netflix connection

Brand new rooms, large TV and ipad for guest information. EXCELLENT value for money. Outstanding service given by the staff who went out of their way to meet my 'no feathers' request due to severe allergies. My only issue (should not be happening in 2021), beware if you are a non smoker - multiple people smoking away on the balcony and wandering through the carpark. Definitely will return!

Very convenient, smack right in CBD. Playground nearby! Tram walking distance. And a free parking lot. Room service is fantastic, clean and new. Complimentary welcome drinks. Coffee machine with pods. Friendly 24hrs concierge service. Highly recommended!

Remodeled motel back to it's mid-century vibes. Clean, modern everything unobtrusive. Great! Free parking for guests. Only downside is that you have to walk next door to the adjacent hotel for reception

Affordable, great free on-site parking, very clean and well appointed updated rooms. Great aircon for when it's hot, bed is comfy. One minor issue: when we checked in, we were early and the room wasn't ready (totally fine). At this point, I did ask for a ground room. Although they said yes, we did not end up ground floor rooms when we eventually picked up the keys.

We were totally surprised at this motel. It’s connected to the Alba next door and gives you access to the restaurant and pool. The hotel motel is a 60s style old school motel fully renovated and modernised. Very nice decor and great service - the food in the Alba is excellent and it has a great pool too. This place is an easy 15 minute walk into the centre of town. Parking is also simple outside your room.

Easy booking and check in/out processes, clean room with all the basic amenities you need. Friendly staff and a great little spot to stay for business or pleasure (or both) 💖

The hotel has been updated very well. The wifi worked well, the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The check-in is at the hotel next door.

This place couldn't be better. Clean, fresh, spacious. Nice, big comfy bed. Adjacent to a park/playground, walking distance to the CBD. Free carpark Coffee pods were nice. Only very slight criticism is the long life milk supplied in very tiny plastic pods. I know that's the usual practice in motels but it would be nice to get an upgrade to a small bottle of milk. (We were there for 4 nights).

I am very pleased with my stay here. The room was large with a comfy bed. I arrived late left early. However, it looked like there was plenty to do and see around this place. If staying in Adelaide again would definitely use this Hotel.

Great motel and it's the only place we found that provide free parking in Adelaide City. Easy access to the city by bus or tram just a few mins walk. Love the park opposite the motel which you can let your children play at the playground.

A big plus when you have a car. Relatively quiet though not sure if Saturday late night music is part of weekend? I asked for a back high up room but got a wing room, and it was still pretty quiet, and can't notice too much traffic noise. Wireless internet is spotty and probably could do with booster. Dropped out several times.

During our 7 day stay in Adelaide, we stayed in a room that accommodated 3 people comfortably. The room was clean and very roomy for 3 adults and the amenities were all there. The beds were so comfortable, the pillows soft, it felt like we were sleeping on a bed of clouds. The black out blinds worked out a treat as we had a light outside our room and that didn't interrupt with our sleep. The location was perfect. Still in the cbd but far enough not to hear any outside noise. We loved that we had the use of a free carpark and very convenient and close to our room. Thank you to all the staff and team at HotelMOTEL, we will definitely return here and recommend it to family and friends. A special mention and thank you to Isabela at the Terrace restaurant who looked after us during our breakfast hours and Jane who made our barista style coffee for our morning coffee fix. Thank you for always greeting us with a smile and just starting our day off so positively. We also recommend the breakfast package. The food was delicious and very filling. Until our next stay, continue the great work team 👌🤗

I have stayed in more ‘recently refurbished ‘ hotel/motels than I can remember but this place takes the biscuit. Superlative remodel with the rooms, bathrooms and every little detail attended to perfectly. What a joy of a place to stay. Location is absolutely wonderful and this will be our place when we come to Adelaide from now on. Nothing else comes close. Loved it.

Nice and clean room, very good for price. There is a car park as well as it works for us nicely as we were driving from Melbourne and don’t need to worry about car park and payment. Location is very good too. Recommended

Rooms have been beautifully renovated in a modern way. Gorgeous. Spacious and quiet. Staff was happy to take my case to my room (up stairs)

  • 3/5 Elise C. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are fresh and clean and the staff are very nice. Parking right outside is very convenient. Even with blackout curtains the rooms are really bright. Lots of light leakage into the rooms from the bright lights outside the door. Made it hard to sleep. Edit to add: reception encouraged me to lower my roller blind, but my room (39) didn't have one, though I note some other rooms do.

A surprisingly good motel in Adelaide. Clean modern rooms, recently renovated. Comfortable king bed with nice pillows and sheets. Free parking in the city, quiet, equipped with enough sockets and usb charging stations. The fridge is silent. Trying to think about all the little things that could normally annoy us but it could not be failed. We had a good experience.

Clean, well serviced, friendly staff, modern renovations. Free parking, Netflix connection. Handy to access public transport, restaurants; no traffic noise. Will stay here again as it is good value for money.

Amazing renovation! The place has a classic motel quality on the outside, and the room was 100% Really liked the power points with USB sockets above the bedside tables. Easy to charge your devices. Being able to park outside the room was great. Don't think you can do that anywhere else in the CBD. A short walk to The Terrace Hotel for breakfast was no drama. I'd recommend staying here...I'll certainly be back! Cheers, Adam

Brand new renovated rooms so beautiful. Slept like a log in the king size bed, no noise from busy South terrace. Staff were fantastic everything in the room was so clean even though it's been renovated no dust just clean.

Really enjoyed our stay at HotelMotel. Clean, spacious room and excellent location on the quieter side of the city, but perfect for us as we needed parking. Within walking distance of Chinatown, Himeji Gardens and Hutt St cafes. Fabulous staff and delicious hamper. Would happily stay here again and recommend to interstate guests.

Amazing refurbished rooms. Got there early as we had appointment in town, room wasn't ready so instead of making us wait they upgraded us to a bigger room. Well done. Rooms are brand new and tastefully renovated. Great effort.

Clean, modern rooms that represent great value for money. Free parking was a bonus, given the proximity to the CBD. Would definitely recommend for short stays.

Tastefully renovated rooms located at the edge of the city but walking distance to the middle of the city with a free tram about 500 m away. Parking included in a very reasonable price (absolute bargain as other establishments requesting $25 per night). I stayed 2 nights in the same week (Adelaide as a stopover whilst travelling in SA) and no complaints the first night. The second time I checked in there was someone else's hair in the shower which hadn't been cleaned so think the cleaning can be stepped up. Would still absolutely recommend.

Very clean, comfortable beds, tasteful design all make this place a winner from the get go. Was refreshing to stay in cheaper motel with some thought put into colour scheme, room innovation (iPads). We’ve stayed in a few new refurbished motors lately and sadly most places waste it by using horrible lighting and nasty fittings. Well done HotelMOTEL for doing something different

During our visit in Adelaide, our clan (consisted of 6 families ) stayed at HotelMotel. It’s located in the heart of Adelaide cbd which is just a walking distance to the shops and restaurants. It was newly renovated and the rooms look exactly the same as advertised, They are clean and spacious and the beds are comfortable . On the day of our check in , there had been an inevitable problem with the family room that we booked in however the friendly and very accommodating people at the concierge namely Ronu, Rishnu ,Donna & Christine, exhausted all possible options to deliver impeccable customer service. They went over and beyond their normal service which is really commendable . The hotel also offers great breakfast options and staff at the dining department were attentive and wonderful. It was an enjoyable experience overall and would highly recommend the HotelMotel for anyone looking for great value for their money.

Stayed at the HotelMotel as I won a State Accommodation voucher (which included a $50 dinner or breakfast voucher) Stay at HotelMotel was very good besides having issues with checking in. I came in at 2.30pm to check in and there was quite a line, once I reached the start of the line I was served by a new employee who was still training. The guy had taken a very a long time to check me in and it was very difficult to understand what he was saying through his mask. Alarm bells came ringing when he told he needed a $200 security deposit, and I asked him $200 for one night of stay, that seems like a lot?The guy proceeded to tell me this was correct and it was to cover the mini bar, I mean how much are the items in the mini bar? I proceeded to pay it as I thought the prices of security payments had gone up since covid. When I was walking to my room and noticed a couple who was waiting to go into their room, I thought I would ask how much their security deposit was and they said they paid $100. The couple had asked me if was served by the new guy and I said yes and they said go back and get a refund. I went back to the long line and ended up with the same new guy and he immediately told me that he overcharged me ‘accidentally’ and was going to refund me. I was shocked! He told me he got the cash security deposit and the card deposit mixed up (apparently it’s $200 cash and $100 card). Doesn’t make sense?! He went to his manager to proceed me with the refund and he came back saying he can’t give me a refund as it’s a pending payment that is just holding the $200 funds in my account that I can’t access for 1 week! I was so upset that I was overcharged and asked to speak to the manager. The guy didn’t know how to handle this issue and the covid Marshall (Daniel) came over to assist us. He apologised for the over payment and said we would receive complimentary breakfast the following morning and I would receive the money next week. Daniel had great service and was very helpful with resolving the issue. The dinner and breakfast at The Terrace was very good and the room was super clean, modern and neat. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well kept. I would stay at this motel again but just make sure you don’t get overcharged for the security deposit!!

Small but safe and clean motel. Newly renovated bathrooms. Friendly lady at reception and epic TV streaming options. Free on-site parking.

Nice and clean room, great minibar selections and coffee machine. Love the personalised greeting on tablet with access to other services! Only main concern is the security as anyone can freely access the guest room area from the street and there’s no camera in that area too. Lost an iPad during my stay.

Nice enough room. No dishes. Unresponsive front desk (they said they were short-staffed), I called for 45mins straight and I bet they were prioritizing those in line in person, glad it was not an emergency with the room) minibar was convenient but overpriced as always.

Staff were awesome, the food is very reasonable, the rooms are as they say on the websites very stylish! If I could give a higher review I would! Great place.

Open for business for many many years. But recently renovated all rooms. Looks like a new hotel. As long as you do not mind walking up some steps to the 1st floor.

The water from the shower was at best ‘cold’ to luke warm with very little pressure. It never managed to get to a temperature where you could enjoy a nice ‘hot’ shower. Not everyday were the towels or bath mats changed out and they were a bit stingy on leaving extra toilet paper. At the end of our stay they charged an extra $5 saying we took something from the mini bar, which was completely untrue. Luckily I checked that the $1 held on card would be returned onto my card, to find I’d been charged the extra. Not happy.

The airline got our booking all wrong after a cancelled flight. The Terrace Hotel staff worked behind the scenes with the airline to get us into suitable rooms for our family in their other location, the Hotel Motel Adelaide. Rooms are newly renovated, clean and comfortable. Staff are fantastic and the restaurant is great. We’ll be staying here again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for accommodation in Adelaide.

Amazing check-in and check-out staff. Also the bar was fun as well! Just like an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, “I’ll be back”.
