The rooms are very well done, and our host was fantastic. We have done plenty of escape rooms around Australia and this one was definitely up there. The only disappointment was not beating the record time by seconds! Can’t wait to come back and try to escape the rest!

Such a great experience! I came with a group of friends during the weekend and played Gypsy Manor, it was challenging and also offered some scare factor. Props to Stuart the Manager on duty for being so accommodating to us! Also loved how he made us feel welcome and immersed.

We booked an escape room for 6 players. I tried to reschedule as I was attending an engagement and did want to rush home, when they said it was not possible (totally understandable) I responded that I'd make it work. Upon arriving home, my brother advised he was not feeling well. He'd been in contact with someone who's tested positive and this information I found out the minute I went home to pick him up. Arriving at the venue, my dad also notified that our uncle would also not be joining us who was also not feeling well. I tried to explain this to the manager to see if it was possible just to refund two players and still pay for the people who were playing but we were denied. I've been to Escape Rooms in Europe and in Australia and this is the first time I've experienced this as especially with the continuous changes everyday, we were always offered at least an alternative solution where those who were fit were able to play. I understand that there are strict no refund rules but the COVID T&C also state clearly players should not attend a game if you have any signs of illness. The manager pretty much said he “didn't buy into it” and was speaking to me in a condescending manner and did not care about what I had to say. Overall, the staff were friendly, the puzzles were different and we did enjoy the most of what we could take out of since the mood was changed due to what happened. The given rating was mainly due to how I was spoken to especially as a paying customer. We'd probably be back in the future when I visit again and hope that it would be a better experience next time.

This place is highly rated for a reason. We did the Bermuda escape room as a pair and it was reasonably priced. This room has the coolest technology for the puzzles that made them really fun without being convoluted. The host was really nice and friendly, thank you for the fun experience!

My family and I attempted the gypsy manor room and absolutely loved it. The puzzles were difficult but fun!. The staff was amazing and was patient with a family member who was nervous about the room. They reassured her that there were no jump scares. Can't wait to go again!

My friends and I heard so much praise about the Gypsy Manor Room, so we decided to play it. When I tell you we had the time of our lives, we had the time of our lives! Each and every puzzle was so intricate and fun. The staff members were so lovely and created an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend coming to this place no matter what event!

One of the BEST escape rooms we have done in the city. Fantastic host, great atmosphere just all round amazing. Thankyou. Will be back to do your other rooms.

We did the Mission Metropol and Gypsy Manor rooms today and had an amazing time! Our host Alicia was incredible and so accommodating of my brother's 16 month old son. Doing a second room was a last minute decision but we had so much fun in the first one that we couldn't resist! Loads of diverse and theme-specific puzzles and processes in both rooms, and a fun photo booth picture afterwards. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday experience!

My family enjoyed the Bermuda escape room as a first escape room for most of us. We didn’t make it out of Bermuda but staff gave lots of clues when asked and everyone stayed motivated to try. We appreciated being shown through the final clues we didn’t get to. A good first experience plus kids loved photos!

Our group of 4 did the Gypsy manor room. Didn't quite get to the end, but had a great time doing it. Had a couple of scary moments which made for a good laugh. Stuart was very passionate and explained everything really well, he made it a fun experience for us all.

This review is for a visit by a group of children 10y.o. and 8y.o. in Bermuda room. 8y.o. had fun distracting others but they are too young to play this. 10 y.o. were up to the challenge and could solve fair number of puzzles on their own, but they needed help to stay organised especially in face of extra pressure from distracting 8y.o. Most children were happy and excited. One quiet child left upset likely because faster and louder (young ones) children left him no opportunity to do things and made it hard to think about puzzles. Supervising adult enjoyed the puzzles!!! Good decorations, some clever hidden clues, some are simple but I think it was simplified for the children. Staff are very good. Thank you!!! We will definitely come back to other rooms but next time without 8y.o. children.

This was our first escape room experience and we had a ball! The staff were super positive, friendly and helpful! Our young children found it equally exciting and loved the Harry Potter theme. The facilities were clean and well maintained. We look forward to visiting again!

We completed the Wizard (Harry Potter themed) room and had a great time. Not sure if the 4 children or two adults enjoyed it more! The ambience and staff were both friendly and inviting. Highly recommend 👍

I've only been to Escape Hunt previously and was looking forward to trying out a different location. My experience with Mindshift was quite mixed. Two locks in the puzzle room were left unlocked, causing the staff to come midway into the room to lock it up and making us lose time. They also took forever to give us hints when we were just standing around. The room aesthetics was nice though and there was a free photobooth. Happy to give it another try but hoping for a better experience.

Awesome experience! This was my first escape room in years and I had forgotten hope challenging they can be! Two of us did the Bermuda Triangle room. We got to within three puzzles of the escape. The staff were great and gave a few tips along the way when we got stuck. And because two people from our group couldn't come, they were happy to defer those two guests towards until our next visit. We're happy and we'll be back!

Completed the Bermuda escape room with a group of 6 teens and an adult. No spoilers buy there was a particular puzzle I didn't like because of the way it was structured. It wasn't about skill or thinking it was pure time. Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed it, the lobby was beautiful, the staff were friendly and the photo machine was so fun!

Booked in with the kids as a group of 5 for my Wife's birthday. Took on the Bermuda Triangle. It was challenging but by no means impossible. Amazing how obvious some things are when you look at them in a different way. Ages in our group ranged from 15-54 It was great fun and we got ourselves out within the 60 mins with only a small amount of help...I think!

Amazing game masters! Great atmosphere and a straight up classic escape room experience! I've played all their rooms so far and my favourites are "gypsy Manor" and "mission metropol". The work they've put into these games is crazy! From the soundtrack to the puzzle design. Absolutely great work!

Great rooms with a massive variety of puzzles, our team of two (despite attempting half of the escape rooms in Adelaide) were suitably challenged on the Bigfoot room. Angelo, our aptly named games master was generous with the clues and we just managed to escape. The complimentary photo booth downstairs prints great souvenirs and overall its always a great day out.

Great Experience, we had a very last minute booking and Angelo was very helpful making it a smooth enjoyable experience. Making for a good experience with friends. Giving us some clues when needed but nothing that would ruin the game and give it away. Overall the escape room was very well thought out and had great puzzles. Thanks again Angelo and the team there.

Wow, what a cool, well thought out place! The room was a challenge and our family had loads of fun. Brain bending fun! Shout out to Travis our game master who, with his timely clues, helped us get out the door! Highly recommend!

Great fun, well put together rooms. We did the Bermuda Escape and was suitable for 8 year old. TJ was a great host and gave us just the right amount of clues.

If I could give these guys more than 5 stars I absolutely would. We opted for the jump scares in the Gypsy Manor and it was totally worth it! Angelo and Chelsea were the best hosts and provided the right amount of hints when we needed it (and at times we really needed it) but kept it fun and interesting (and scary at times). Definitely going to go back and test our skills on the other rooms and see if we can actually escape! Again, 10 out of 5 from the moment we walked in the door to when we almost escaped!

Had a great experience! Called up the same day and was able to get an appointment within hours. The staff members Angelo and Alesia were super kind, timely and very knowledgeable with explaining our rooms story and giving us hints. Thanks for a great challenge!

Great little hidden gem! The room was challenging without being too difficult. Really appreciate the addition of having quizzes and puzzles in the waiting room to get you into the right headspace before going to the room. Will be coming back to take on the other rooms in future!

Angelo was super nice and friendly! He gave us the clues we asked for, and he was super helpful. You are very lucky if you get him. We did the Bigfoot room, and no spoilers, but it was awesome.

This was great - mine and my daughter's first escape room experience with 3 of her buddies for her 12th birthday party. Got through with just 5 minutes to spare! Cassie was our excellent host into the Bermuda Triangle, and all the staff were friendly and fun.

Had their bucks package that includes 1 hour of post game drink. Really good fun, friendly staff. Game itself was quite interesting.

A very positive and enjoyable experience! We don't do many escape rooms but the staff are very enthusiastic and welcoming, explained rules well and gave helpful hints when we were stuck. The puzzles were well setup and it was great to get "Aha!" Moments when things were getting solved.

We loved it! The Metropol Mystery was too hard for us as Escape Room first timers but Angelo was lovely and helped us out with clues when needed. The complimentary Photo Booth pictures at the end make for a nice souvenir. Will try the Bermuda one next!

Great fun for anyone, did Bigfoot room and managed to complete it with 4 people. Needed a few hints and nudges in the right direction, staff were good at keeping us progressing without giving anything away. Will be back again

Room and host was great. However manager was unable to provide a refund or credit for one person not being able to show up. Having that extra person not there does not affect the work that is done for the session and costs the business nothing. This small gesture leave a very poor impression on customers and makes it unlikely for us to want to come back.

My friends and I had a great experience in the Gypsy Manor escape room last night. It was challenging and exciting, plus Stuart was really entertaining and funny. We will definitely be returning in the near future!

Absolutely incredible! So accommodating, friendly. Great experience for our first time. Loved how friendly the staff were. I forgot who ever our person was who took us in but they were incredible. I love their acting skills very much. How inspiring! I 100% recommend. Going in with my friends was such a great experience I will be going again

Fun and challenging rooms :) Was a bit difficult for just two of us but we knew it would be and regardless it was still enjoyable. The staff are very friendly. Plenty of paid parking nearby. I recommend bringing coins for the big parking lot on the corner. I believe it was $4 in coins but if you pay by card it's $16

We booked Bermuda Escape for our 11 year old’s Birthday treat and the staff couldn’t have been more brilliant with our group of 10 rowdy, excited boys. I didn’t catch the name of the staff member who looked after our group but he honestly had the patience of a saint! We all had such a great time and we will definitely be back… perhaps next time without the kids! Thank you!!!

Staff were welcoming and very enthusiastic. Rooms has a great aesthetic, were well themed and suitably challenging. A good mix of puzzle types and tasks. We completed 'Bermuda Triangle' and 'Big Foot'. Highly recommended. Staff additionally provided helpful assistance for our Adelaide holiday by recommending food, beverage and other activity recommendations. Thank you so much for the lovely experience! 😊

my family and i had a really fun time! chelsea was really patient with us despite our large size (we booked out 2 rooms) and despite some of us running late. she was also very helpful with a malfunction in our rooms. we'll definitely be coming back :)

My first escape room was so much fun. Did a family group ranging from 11 - 48 and we all enjoyed it so much. Thoroughly recommend and will return next time I visit Adelaide.

We were looked after by Alisha (forgive my spelling!) and Chelsea and they both helped give us an incredible escape room experience! They made us feel very welcome, we’re very friendly and set the scene for the room excellently. We did Gypsy manor and found it very challenging and well designed. We would highly recommend Mindshift due to its incredible staff and rooms! A much welcome experience after some of the other Adelaide Escape room businesses.

We went to the escape room on a Saturday night. The service was excellent despite it being close to the closing time. Our game master, Max, was very patient with us because it was our first time playing an escape room in Adelaide. During our escape, he was helpful when we needed and contributed to our great playing experience.

I booked the Bermuda Escape as a birthday treat. While I've played online escape rooms, this was my first in-person game, along with most of my guests. There were plenty of creative challenges to keep us guessing and we managed to escape with about 3 minutes to spare (with a couple of hints along the way). I'm keen to try another!

I booked in with a group of my close friends for our first ever Escape Room experience. Being naive about Escape Rooms in general, I impulsively booked the most difficult room, Gypsy Manor (I honestly didn't even look at the difficulty ratings - oops). Our host, Stuart was fantastic and helped to manage our expectations given that we were all novices doing a difficult room. He gave us just the right amount of guidance without giving too much away and really brought the story to life! We fell short by just a couple of clues and although it would have been nice to say that we escaped, we still had an absolute blast! I was really proud of our team's effort. It was such a great bonding experience that allowed everyone in our group to have their moment to shine. Our group of four was the perfect size. Having a team of people who approach puzzles and challenges with a different point of view is a definite advantage! The Gypsy Manor set was also really well put together and so much fun to interact with. Now we're all asking each other when we can do our next escape room together!

I did Gypsy Manor escape room with my hubby and 2 daughters 15 & 9. The experience was bloody brilliant we absolutely loved it, we were 4 clues away from finishing before the time was up but couldn’t get there. The clues were really good and if you love having your mind puzzled with do this escape room highly recommend it 😊

We came as a group of three and had the best time! We were supported and greeted by two lovely, bubbly, enthusiastic girls, Emma and Sarah. They made it quite the fun experience for us first timers. I’d definitely recommend coming here! It’s fun and exciting for all ages! We will 💯% be coming back for more!

The Gypsy manor was so much fun! We had never done an escape room before and we had a really good time! Angelo was amazing and gave us a few clues (also scared the hell out of us once, but we did opt for the jump scares 😂) I really recommend these guys, they were so kind and the room set up was awesome!!! 100000/10 stars!!!

I had so much fun with our room, Anglo our host was great. He scares the living hell out of my friends to the point that they threw lanterns to him since he tried to scare us by wearing a custom. Highly recommended 👌
