The incredible Adelaide to Perth 10 Day camping trip. A review simply cannot sum up how amazing this trip was! If you are contemplating booking it, just do it! Home grown Aussie like myself, an expat or tourist, it's really an amazing experience for everyone. The places you visit showcase some of the incredible beauty Australia has to offer and camping in a swag really lets you get in touch with nature. We really are a very lucky country! Our guides Brendan and Jackson went above and beyond to make this trip over NYE extra special and memorable and we will all be forever grateful. Our eclectic group of people made for such real, heartwarming, genuine fun and laughs that will forever bring a smile to my face 😁😊 I cannot recommend this trip enough and look forward to planning my next adventure with UnTammed Escapes!

I had the 1-day Port Lincoln tour with Geoff. I must say I totally enjoyed the tour. I have been brought to places in PL that I thought I would never have gone to on my own. Geoff is very knowledgeable and an experienced ranger. The knowledge he provided about PL’s history and flora/fauna were something I have not learnt in school. He has so much experience and he cares for the environment. I was in awe at how he explained the ecosystems in the places we’ve been to. I felt like watching a documentary only I am part if it and experiencing things first hand. My fave spot would be Whaler’s Way with the Tortoise rock. It was nature at its best. I highly recommend this tour as I know you will have the best time of your life enjoying nature’s beauty in South Australia that is Port Lincoln.

I absolutely loved my 10 day trip across the Nullarbor from Adelaide to Perth, there was not one thing I would change. The Nullarbor was on my bucket list of things to do and you can’t do it any better than living out of a swag. If you get the chance to swim with the seals and dolphins do it, it’s worth every cent. I just loved seeing the kangaroos on the beach over in WA and the huge trees and the bush walks we did. Don’t think about it just go ahead and do it.

The 10 days of Adelaide to Perth will remain an unforgettable experience to me. This had everything  - swag camping , star studded night skies, beautiful beaches, scenic drives, spectacular hikes, picnic lunches & a lot of wildlife ( yes, Kangaroos wake you up in the morning - I am not kidding !! ). The selected camping parks and the facilities available were impressive, can't complain. Enough time to explore and enjoy places. Have to mention - Brendon and Jackson - they were the best guides , really appreciate their hard work, effort and patience to give all of us a wonderful tour experience. The food was delicious, in-plenty and always on-time, never felt disappointed :) . The group was a bunch of wonderful humans who were very friendly and full of energy, there was never a boring moment !! Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a tour across Nullarbor !! Thanks for the experience, and looking forward to the next adventure with Untamed Escapes!!

8 day tour from Adelaide to Uluru. The tour itself was pretty cool. The group was small, only 12 participants, and the tour guide Dan was excellent. It never scared us away, we discovered many wild animals along the way, and always given enough time for photos. Very cool guy! Only the office still has deficits in handling complaints. Because of incorrect information, I had to book an additional flight and wasted €200 on the original flight. Unfortunately no feedback on this. The tour itself is awesome!

My brothers and I had such an immensely wonderful time on their 1-day port Lincoln tour. We had never been to port Lincoln before, so we were unsure of where to go. This tour showed the highlights of PL perfectly, we spent the day sightseeing in the national park which was wonderful, and made all the better by our guide Geoff Rayson. Geoff was incredibly knowledgeable about the native flora and fauna, as well as the wildlife and geography. He also stopped the car everytime there was litter to pick it up and keep the national park clean!! Showed how much he really cares for the environment!! We had a wonderful lunch at the fresh fish place and finished off nicely, interacting with the wildlife at the Glen Forest tourist park. Geoff was immaculately accommodating of our needs and wants on the tour and highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting port Lincoln!

An absolutely amazing and unique trip. Highly recommend for those wishing to cross the Nullarbor and experience the most beautiful landscapes with other like minded travelers who become family. We completed our trip over New Year’s Eve and our guides Brendan and Jackson pulled out all of the stops to make sure we had the best night ringing in the New Year. Nothing beats waking up in your swag to kangaroos hopping nearby on New Year’s Day.

TripADeal sub-contracted our 10 day Adelaide to Alice Springs adventure to Untamed Escapes and how lucky we were! Matt (our mini-bus driver and guide), was fantastic, a real legend! We felt very safe with his driving and he went above and beyond to make our road trip so memorable. Matt was friendly, professional and knowledgeable with a cheeky Aussie sense of humour. We would recommend that you give Untamed Adventures a go.

Exceptional Tour Guide - A Perfect Blend of Safety, Entertainment, and Warmth. I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a six-day camping tour (6-Day Esperance & Margaret River Adventure Tour), and I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible experience provided by our tour guide Jazz (Jasmine). From the moment we set foot on our journey until the very end, her unwavering commitment to ensuring our safety, delivering insightful guidance, and infusing every moment with genuine entertainment left an indelible mark on our entire group. Safety was paramount throughout the trip, and our tour guide Jazz's meticulous attention to detail was evident from the outset. She took the time to brief us on safety protocols, ensured everyone was accounted for, and navigated through various locations with utmost professionalism. Her ability to seamlessly manage logistics allowed us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the journey. What truly set our guide apart was her infectious enthusiasm and genuine passion for her role. It was a heartfelt commitment to providing us with a rich and meaningful experience. Beyond the informative aspects, our guide Jazz demonstrated a remarkable talent for keeping the atmosphere light and enjoyable. A constant smile adorned her face, and her witty commentary and engaging storytelling turned what could have been mundane moments into memorable highlights. It's not every day that you come across someone who can effortlessly blend education and entertainment with such finesse. Moreover, our guide Jazz's patience and adaptability were commendable. Her ability to tailor the experience to the group's dynamics demonstrated a level of professionalism that truly enhanced the overall enjoyment of the tour. In summary, Jazz surpassed all expectations, turning what could have been a routine tour into an extraordinary adventure. Her commitment to safety, genuine passion for her job, and infectious enthusiasm created an experience that will be cherished by our group for years to come. If you're seeking a guide who goes above and beyond to ensure your journey is both safe and entertaining, look no further. Our heartfelt thanks to this outstanding guide for making our trip an absolute delight.

Ian looked after us very well on our full day tour. He picked us up from the Port Lincoln Tourist park & dropped us back. Full of local knowledge. Golden Island Beach was incredible, Coffin Bay lunch was superb & we learnt so much about the oyster industry. A nice drop in to the winery, just topped the day off nicely. Thanks very much Ian!

My husband and I just returned back to Qld after experiencing the 6 Day Eyre Peninsula & Flinders Ranges Adventure Tour. We had a fabulous time with Steve the tour guide and the great people we met who travelled with us. You get to see and experience so much in a small amount of time. We had no idea South Australia is so beautiful and has many beautiful walks, views, food and wine. It really has it all. It's definitely a trip we will remember forever.

Loved the tour from Adelaide to Uluru. The trips and program was really nice: seen cool things, did nice hikes. The first night in a swag can be a bit uncomfortable, but sleeping under the stars is definitely an experience I didn't want to miss. Alex was a really good guide and she made really tasty food!

Had an amazing time on the trip from Adelaide to Uluru. The itinerary was full of interesting places and beautiful scenery for hikes. And sleeping out under the stars in a swag is definitely something I would recommend (#swaglife). Our guide Alex was a true powerhouse, driving the bus, cooking tasty food and most of all telling great stories and sharing loads of information with us.

Had the best 10-days camping under the stars! There was only 6 members on the tour, but all the meals and activities worked nonetheless. Our tour guide Jackson was very informative and his meals were the bomb! My favourite part of the trip was lucky bay, would recommend for sure!

What an amazing way to see the Eyre Peninsula! Hassie has got to be the most informed person of the EP, and wow does he have some stories. I will definitely be getting on an Adelaide Hills tour asap and maybe even one of their WA tours!

I did the 6 day Margaret River to Esperance tour leaving Boxing Day 2021. It was active with lots of walking, climbing, and swimming (and flies😁) but it was the best chill out ever. Our guide was the capable, ever patient Gem, and it quickly became obvious how she got that nickname! Her professional mantra must be to ensure every participant has a wonderful experience. The pre tour information from the company was comprehensive and user friendly. The itinerary was quickly adapted when bushfires affected it only a few days before. Brilliant!

I went on the Adelaide to Perth camping trip and had a GREAT time! It was the first tour of the season and we went out with a new guide, but she was very professional, friendly, cheerful, and upbeat. Any issues that popped up she handled well as she has been guiding around Australia for many years. I was a bit scared about sleeping in a swag in the open but they were very comfortable and after one night I loved sleeping under the stars! The scenery was very impressive and the activities were fun and entertaining. Overall it was a very enjoyable tour and I would definitely recommend Untamed Escapes!

I had an amazing 10 day tour from Perth to Adelaide! Saw the most wonderful places. Everything was well organised. Swag sleeping was a nice experience. We had an amazing group of people ! Lots of respect for Jackson! He’ s such an amazing tour guide and person. He knows so much and shared his knowledge with us. And I liked his ideas for lunch and dinner very much.

We did a whole day tour of Port Lincoln and it was truly the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide, Ian, was just so friendly and knowledgably about the area. It was definitely worth it and we are so glad we did it to discover the best of Port Lincoln!

Driver was really lovely and made the trip extr special. The winery we visited was great and we enjoyed the tasting with a delicious vegan platter. A very tiny Lunch in a hot tent seated on the ground was a bit ordinary. The yoga class was good but would have been better if the others had remembered to bring their yoga mats! But all in all we enjoyed the day.

Such an amazing day our tour guide Geoff was AMAZING, so knowledgeable and went out of his way to stop along the way to explain many things, from bush tucker to the environment. The food was out of this world...a must do!

The ''6 Day Eyre Peninsula and Flinders Ranges Tour'' from Untamed Escapes in Nov. 2022 was awesome! In just a few days we did great activities, saw many beautiful places as well as different native animals in nature and gained valuable experiences. And our multi-skilled, friendly guide Steve did a fantastic job making the tour enjoyable for us. I’d like to highlight that he was motivated, knowledgeable, reliable, flexible, patient, drove safely and had varied & healthy nutritional ideas.

My friend and I used our great state voucher to go on the 1 day yoga & wellness tour a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately were pretty disappointed. Dave was our driver for the day and didn’t really seem up to date on the itinerary and didn’t let us know that the locations had changed from what is described on the website. Totally understand that due to weather or other circumstances that venues may change but would have been nice to be informed of that when we started. On the way to our first location we made a stop off at someone’s home to get the pre catered lunch which was a bit weird. Picking up or preparing the lunch I would think is something is taken care of outside of the tour. The bright spot of this tour was the yoga and tasting at serafino. Our yoga instructor (Kate?) was fantastic and also the guy taking us through the tasting afterwards. However we only had 15 minutes at serafino before we had to leave so we had to rush through the tasting, which was far better than gemtree. We had lunch in a tent without any cutlery or knowledge from our guide of what we were eating. The pre catered food was good but it was very limited, 3 items only of which 7 of us had to eat out of the trays it came due to no plates. We looked up the caterers online and they have lovely looking mixed shared plates which would have been nicer. The tour description on the website says a 45 guided nature walk which we didn’t get before heading to gemtree for a small cheese plate and tasting. Overall this tour is not worth $165 or the increased price they are now advertising to include a yoga mat.

What an amazing day we had with tour guide Geoff, who is nothing short of a national treasure. A retired scientist, senior government parks and water management CEO and researcher, Geoff is a man who thinks outside the square. He shared his extensive and fascinating knowledge of the flora, fauna and geology of the Eyre Peninsula/SA/Vic/NSW. Now retired and enjoying telling guests all about Coffin Bay and Pt Lincoln, Geoff is so much more than a host and guide. After the drive from Pt Lincoln towards Coffin Bay, we saw a school of feeding snapper and lots of emus, learned about the flora in the Coffin Bay national park, had tea and home made Anzac biscuits at Avoid Bay, put on waders and learned to open oysters ( and eat them) at Oyster HQ, then fabulous lunch with wine at 1802 restaurant and a personal tour by Ross whose father and uncles built the historic tuna boat Tacoma, then a thrilling sand dune encounter!! A knowledgeable and practical Australian, Geoff deserves national recognition. Well done Untamed Tours for having him on your team!! Thank you.

4 days of exploring and experiencing the Margaret River region. Wow wow wow, loved the visual delights, nutritional sensations, the slowness of yoga sessions, the workshops of sourdough making at One Table Farm; the education received from the Spice Mistress and her delightful food. The experience of tasting gin for the first time and walking an 8km section of the Cape to Cape. Thank you so much Jodie, Gem and Riley for making me feel so welcomed, you looked after us girls in every way. Glamping at Fair Harvest was a treat I’ll never forget 🤩🤩🤩

I do not recommend Untamed Escapes. I recently undertook the 10 day camping tour from Adelaide - Perth. Their website claims 'Unearth Australia with your expert guide', however this was not the case. The 'guide' had not completed the trip before, never been to any of places we were visiting and had no knowledge of the history or area we were travelling to. There was zero knowledge imparted and valuable time lost in finding our destinations and/or a good place to stop. The company chose to allow the trip to run at full cost, with a new employee to lead the tour without providing the appropriate level of training or a mentor to learn from. This was negligent. It compromised the safety, enjoyment and value for money for its customers. At the very least we (the customers) should have been informed of the situation and possibly a discount offered as our trip essentially was a 'trial run.' At the conclusion of the tour, Untamed Escapes requested feedback, which I provided. Their explanation was that this trip was their first after the Covid period and they had trouble recruiting new guides. All their previous employees had moved on to other careers. An apology was provided. We visited many interesting places, undertook great hikes and saw some amazing scenery. However, I could have seen this on my own. The reason I choose to embark on a tour is to learn from knowledgeable guides about the history of the area and know exactly the best places to stop to maximise the time and enjoyment I have in a certain location.

Kangaroo island for 3 was an amazing experience, colder than I thought . Go prepared for fluctuations in weather. Our guide Emily was funny, great guide and accommodated all group needs. Our departure was changed to 7:30 pm so we really did do 3 full days , lovely

Thank you so much Untamed Escapes. I had the best experience travelling on the 8 day Adelaide to Uluru trip. It was a last minute decision on my behalf only booking the trip 3 days prior. Best decision I have made! I had prompt responses from the company and detailed itinerary on travel locations. Loved sleeping in swags and hearing the wildlife overnight. Helped to really immerse in the experience. Big shout out to our tour guide Alex, her enthusiasm, local knowledge and delicious food made the trip spectacular. She was an absolute legend and ensured that everyone had the best experience. Recommend this tour 100% I’m looking forward to booking the next one.
