Very pleasant experience throughout the the whole process from the call after I registered interest online to the consultation in Derry, the lady there was extremely helpful and informing. The second consultation in Belfast was the same with all information given in a very helpful manner. The procedure was then carried out just 2 weeks later and all staff were very nice and understanding of how nerve wracking it can be. The procedure itself was painless and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions of my life. I now have better than 20/20 vision and no longer have to worry about glasses or contact lenses. I just wish I’d did it years ago! The after care is also very good with plenty of advice and further check up appointments. Would highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of having laser surgery done.

Optilase was so helpful and I couldn’t believe how quick everything was completed. Between making the consultation and the surgery it all happened so fast. The consultation was great, loads of information and very helpful. I ended up changing my location from Cork to Belfast just for handiness reasons for me and they made the swap so easy and kept the original surgery date and everything. I went up to belfast to meet the surgeon and the team and they made me feel so at ease. They answered any last minute questions I had and they really did ease my nerves. The day of surgery it was so quick. I was in and out in half a hour. The actual surgery itself not lasting more than 10 minutes. They had talked me through the process several times and I knew and was aware of everything that was happening and they explained it and counted down as it went. After surgery they spoke me through the aftercare again and I was happy knowing what I had to do. The overall experience has been amazing I would tell anyone thinking about it to go and do it. Only regretting I didn’t do it sooner.

I got my eye surgery on 11/11/22. I was very very anxious! I asked to be told each step before the surgery took place and the surgical staff went out of their way to make sure I was at ease knowing every step. It’s all about mind over matter when getting the procedure done! The day of my surgery the surgical team and surgeon were fantastic! I was able to stay calm with the help from the ladies also. I would 100% do it again tomorrow again it was the best decision ever! I had a few communication problems between myself and reception staff. After speaking to a manager there were resolved.

I recently had LASIK treatment at Optilase and it is the best thing I have ever done. The staff are fantastic and I felt very assured I was in good hands. Everything was explained thoroughly, so much so that on surgery day I’d zero nerves. The procedure itself took 15 minutes and again the nurses and surgeon clearly talked me through every step of what they were doing which I found very reassuring. The results were immediate. After an afternoon nap my vision was perfect. My eyes felt tired and a little gritty but after about 4 days they felt much more normal. I was surprised how easy the recovery was. I honestly can’t recommend Optilase enough. Also very competitively priced compared to other clinics and a lot less pushy with their sales!

I would highly recommend Optilase and the Belfast clinic to anyone. I recently got the lasik eye surgery. All the staff were so friendly, professional, informative and really helpful to deal with. The process was really easy and quick. I couldn't believe it. I had no issues about getting the procedure done as Dr Damani and the staff put me at ease talking me through every step. I was well prepared having consultations in the led up also. You're in a tiny bit of discomfort but its pain less getting the op done and its only for a very short time. Its the best decision I have ever made. The recovery is so quick too. I only wish I had done it years ago. Its so liberating being able to see properly again 20:20. I feel a big weight has been lifted of me thanks again so much to all at the clinic. Its changed my life for the better being able to see without glasses now 😊

Great service from Optilase! I just got my laser eye surgery last week and actually couldn’t have imagined the difference in my eyesight! All of my care was excellent. Pre-operative consultations we quick and very professional. On the day of the surgery I was well taken care of and the surgery was extremely quick. Having PRK I had a little bit of a longer recovery but the results are fantastic and would highly recommend Optilase Clinic.

I had a really good experience with the Optilase Clinic in Belfast. They made me feel at ease during all stages of the process. Anthony was particualy helpful with any questions that I had. The surgery itself was quick and I was made to feel comfortable the whole time.

Had PRK surgery at the end of July. Clinic was a phone call away with any questions I needed answered in the run up to my surgery. Surgeon and staff made me feel at ease at all times. All eye drops were supplied, actual surgery wasn’t as painful as I thought it would be, quite pain free actually on day 1 after surgery, recovery on day 2 was difficult due to water buildup in the eye and eyes being swollen after the surgery. Doing great now, it has transformed my day to day life, not wearing glasses for the first time in over ten years.

I would definitely recommend Optalise without any hesitation. My experience from start to finish was straight forward. Any of the staff I dealt with were very informative and friendly. Nicole in the reception was very welcoming and really made me feel at ease on the day of my surgery. Danielle and the nurses in the theatre room were all very calm and kept me informed of what was happening, they all had a very positive attitude and this really helped me feel good about the surgery.

All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. Everything explained and all questions answered beforehand. Everyone in the surgery room were great and helped keep me calm. Procedure is painless and there is only discomfort around 20 mins after lasting around 4 hours. Recommend to anyone.

Not even 24hrs after my surgery and my vision is better than ever. Optilase was amazing from start to finish. They were extremely professional. The procedure itself took less than 10mins I was then cared for extremely well prior to leaving. Follow up care was extremely easy to access. All my questions and concerns where answered. Even months after my procedure I needed some paperwork from Optilase and nothing was too much for them. The surgery itself was brilliant…around 15 minutes and I didn’t feel a thing. After around 3 days recovery I was almost back to normal…after a week I had near perfect vision and after two I had better than 20/20! It’s been the best decision I’ve ever made and I can’t thank Optilase enough for giving me perfect sight! The staff are wonderful and the nurses on the day were just amazing!

I had my later eye treatment last May and I haven't looked back. It's made a real change to my lifestyle to become a free from glasses/ lenses. The treatment was quiet quick and the care given given by the surgeon and nursing team made me feel really at ease. I noticed a change in my sight in within 5/6 hours after waking up from a nap. Had my surgery at 18.15, went straight to bed and by the next morning had perfect 20/20 vision. The initial discomfort only lasted about two hours and was manageable with paracetamol. I had a -7 glasses prescription, this was single best thing I have ever done. 100% recommend.
