Lovely walk through woods to Helen's tower. Gentle gradient when taking the snaking stony path. More direct routes through trees were available. Mucky but not any more so than other walks I've done elsewhere in recent weeks so proper footwear required. There are signposts to the tower and if you follow main path at any junction you can not go wrong.

Rainy day, but that isn't the towers fault. Fantastic, beautiful walk. Very neat, very tidy, very good, very nice. Constant upkeep to the paths and surroundings. Starts gentle, but gets steep quite quickly. Good for the lungs

Really nice walk, not too muddy even when raining lightly. Helen's Tower looks amazing and has lots of history. The area is well maintained with lots of wildlife. The trail is well signposted and easy to follow. A great place to visit for families, hikers, mountain bikers and nature enthusiasts.

Lovely woodland walk to Helen's Tower, passing a lake on the way. Google map directions were perfect for getting me to the parking location on a minor bend on the Crawfordsburn Road and the walk through the woods to the tower. The parking area has space for 4 cars and it will take 25 minutes to walk to the tower. It's possible to stay self catering in this historic building.

Fantastic walk for an adventure. Not too long and not too short. Plenty of incline & decline. I usually go for the mountain bike trails. They rock!! Beautiful and scenic forestry and a nicely sized lake with swans and ducks. Cool for a family walk!

Great forest walk to the Tower, there is work being carried out recently on the tower so it will look lovely when finished
