It was a really great bowling experience. The place is open until 10pm and has a small cafe and some vending machines by the bowling alley. The bowling machines do not accept cards but you could go by the gaming machines and have a change in coins if you have some cash. Overall great place with some DJ and 8 quid per person for an hour. Also there are a few places available for dinner just across the road. Recommended to visit.

Always a great spot to visit with friends, can’t say how many times we’ve visited the mini golf course (to be fair, I somehow get worse) and the bowling / ice skating is always something great to switch things up. I love that it’s opposite the cinema and many food spots, so you can make a day of it with family and friends. Highly recommend for locals and anyone visiting if you’re struggling to find things to do.

Took our children ice skating for the first time as it was our eldest (8 year old) birthday and he picked to try this. He absolutely loved it. Our other son was like Bambi on ice and sat down after 20 mins. 🙈Easy to book online. Get your skates at the desk, and hand over your shoes. You need a £1 coin to get a token for the lockers to put your stuff in. At the end near the DJ is the girl to get the skating aids from. She will measure your child against the wall for what size you need. He got a snowman! Which he loved. Music great and gave our son a shout out for his birthday. will definitely be back. Recommend warm clothing and gloves until you warm up going round. And thick socks to stop the skates rubbing the back of your legs. Also on site which we need to try is Indiana Land soft play, bowling and pirate adventure golf outside.

The place was clean and presentable, but the counter staff in the bowling alley...... not a smile between them. They looked like they wanted to be anywhere else than where they were. You don't have to be super duper pumper with every customer that comes in, but 1 smile goes a long way and makes for good customer service. The kids and adults enjoyed the visit.

Awful experience. No longer able to book online and have people coming on and off the ice at staggered times. Que to pay. Que 40 minutes coralled in a small space to get boots. Only late on did someone step in to try and organise the multiple ques that had formed cutting ahead of the people who had waited longest. Que 30 minutes for a coffee. Que to return boots at only one of two windows. Need to go back to the booking system used during covid with staggered entry and exit and have more than 1 person working in restaraunt. only had a short time on ice because of the above. Very poor.

the building itself is a little disappointing, but i know that there are plans to change that in the future. it's sad that this is the only ice rink open in northern ireland, but it meets enough standards. the skates from the skate hire at the rink are quite old but they are sturdy. unfortunately i see a lot of people who don't wear them tight enough though, so it would be nice if the proper way to wear them was made clearer to newcomers and first-timers. the website is a little confusing but its manageable. although i do wish that there was a way to book a slot at the ice rink without having to hire skates, (obviously for people with their own). i know that they only cost a pound or two, but if you come on the regular it can become a bit of a nuisance. hopefully that is something that will be looked into. other than that, the skating experience is quite enjoyable. ~♡~ info: • £6 per person (£5 for members) • sessions last 1½ hours • membership is £28 per month (individual) ~♡~ tips: • follow the poster beside the vending machine when tightning your skates • bring back your skates yourself, don't let a friend do it incase of confusion • always listen to the announcement at the start of the session • be confident and don't be scared to fall! • follow the height guide for the penguins and snowmen and if you're too tall, just grip onto the sides or ask a member of staff to help • enjoy yourself!!!

I had an okay time here. It was fun seeing so many people enjoying themselves and having a good time. The staff members who attended to me and sorted my skates out were very nice and polite. Booking price was pocket-friendly, and booking online was seamless and straightforward. I like the fact that there are lockers on-site for safekeeping of your personal belongings. The only downside for me, was the lack of staff of the skating rink. This was my first time ice-skating- I was pretty bad at it. I would have loved to have someone set me right in order to make the best of my 1.5-hour time slot, but I didn't get that, and it was quite sad that I can't say I have been able to get the ice skating experience I was looking forward to.

Having been to bowl many times this evening we were treated terribly. The machine to set the pins knocked over the pins up to multiple times. Told the reception several times and ask for an extra 10 -15 mins so that we could finish the game. The manager or lead receptionist was rude and lied to our faces saying that we only informed them that it happened once and would only give us 5 extra minutes when we had notified them multiple times. If you go to bowl make sure you make a point of informing them every single time the malfunction happens and not to use the computer screen to reset the bowling or they will blatantly lie to you and give you nothing for all the wasted time.

My granddaughter was here for an Escape Room experience birthday party so we put in the time waiting for her. The Yeti Cafe was very busy and it does Starbucks coffee. It was great that we were able to wait there without feeling that we taking up a table. With it being half term all departments were very busy.

This place far exceeded all my expectations. The staff were super fun and friendly. I have been to Northern Ireland 3 times and always wanted to skate there. I'm glad I got my chance. The ice was perfect. The for hire skates were a little worn out but I was able to skate for 2 sessions and they got the job done. Thanks for a great rewarding experience. I'll definitely be back and will bring my grandchildren.

The facilities are getting a total renovation, much needed!! On a separate note, the Union Jack flying high all year round isn't needed. Special occasions are good, but we need a shared environment for everyone.

Went bowling on a wet Friday with our 3 grandchildren. Phone booking was easy. Place was clean and well organised. Price £27.50 for 2 adults and 3 children. We got 2 games in our 1 hour slot. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very good fun.

I came back over to Northern Ireland from America after 8 years, so I returned to one of my favourite places as a child. I was glad to see it still as active as all those years ago. The bowling was fun, and the rock climbing was very challenging, yet still accessable. The only issue I had was that the skates for the ice rink were a bit sketch. Overall, I'd recommend.

Average ice ring (ice was badly scratched with a lot of holes in it). Toilets bellow any standard (dirty stinking, no paper towel). Place needs some improvement (my wife got two right skates )

My visit to Dundonald International Ice Bowl was a mixed experience. While the overall atmosphere was enjoyable, the crowded conditions were a notable drawback. The ice rink was bustling with people, making it challenging for newcomers like my friends who had never tried ice-skating before. Unfortunately, the lack of assistance for beginners added to their struggles. The provision of support tools, shaped like snowmen or penguins, was limited to children, leaving adult beginners without proper aids. Moreover, the absence of any measures to regulate speed on the rink raised safety concerns, especially for those who were new to ice-skating. The facility did not intervene when skaters moved excessively fast, potentially leading to collisions. Despite these drawbacks, the affordability of Dundonald International Ice Bowl is a positive aspect. The cost of admission is reasonable, making it an attractive option for those on a budget. However, I would caution individuals new to ice-skating to consider the crowded conditions and the lack of adequate support for beginners before planning a visit. With some improvements in assisting newcomers and ensuring safety measures, this venue has the potential to provide a more inclusive and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

A fantastic place for every member of the family from the youngest to the oldest.

A very popular spot for ice skating, bowling and birthday parties. Never had a bad experience here but feel like the venue could do with a bit of a freshen up. The cafe area was a bit dated. Other than that it's good fun for a trip.

Great proper ice skating venue, good safety features, very organised, lockers for bags, skates provided all sizes for adults and kids, small support penguins for kids that can't skate and mini animal sledges for even smaller kids. Good few people skating but not too busy and not messy at all. Was skating from 2pm to 3pm on weekday during 1-4 skating session. Few staff members skating on the ring for safety. 15 minutes drive by car/taxi from Belfast city center, longer by bus, city buses operate often and there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk from the venue. Other attractions on the site aswell, bowling, and tall wall climbing for all levels. Brilliant experience, kids and adults are very happy.

Great fun. Only issue I can find with is that you're always skating counter-clockwise. It would be great if they could switch to skating clockwise halfway through the session. Other than that, staff are friendly and helpful with a great atmosphere in the place 👌

We had a fantastic time bowling here. The staff were really friendly and so helpful. We had a little issue with the pins but it was fixed really quickly. The music really stood out, some great tunes that really get you in the mood. It can get pretty busy so I would reccomend that you book.

It’s amazing how the atmosphere never changes, I went with my son and granddaughter Sunday and I immediately felt transported back 30 years……..

The place itself is a little tired and could do with a revamp, that said it's a fun place and is still as popular as ever. It can get very busy at times. Social distancing rules aren't adhered to, there are signs but they aren't enforced and no-one seems willing to respect them. When mini golfing we had the people behind us walking over our playing area when they finished their game before we did. Other than that it's always great fun.

It was amazing, if only I was closer I’d came everyday and improve my skill. The children grasp it very quick but I struggle skating still I’d do it over and over again if given the chance to eventually be good enough at it to enjoy it the best. The ambiance is just perfect. The ice rink is huge, so plenty room for everyone of all kinds of skating abilities. It was amazing to see everyone skating so well and going together in one direction to keep everyone safe, the middle section was left for free styles, children could danced there, the disco lights lighting the ice rink it was just the perfect atmosphere for fun loving people. The staff are very good, especially the DJ keeping everyone in great spirits. The music were just fantastic. Such an amazing way to catch up with our Carrickfergus friends from Fermanagh. Met new people on the ice rink. Great time had by everyone. Well affordable price and plenty time to enjoy. Thx

Great 4 bowling, not sure if the balls are wiped with antibacterial wipes but a great fun nite. Didn't go into ice rink & skate but a fun place for both young & old.

Brilliant place. The cafe has the most beautiful buns and cakes. All made by the owner. And I tell you they are beautiful. Melt in your mouth. There coffee is amazing too. And they do their very own sausage rolls too. Which are the best I've had. Staff in the cafe are lovely. Make you feel welcome.

This place is amazing, it only costs £6 for 90 mins session which is loads of time. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is unreal. They also give you ice skating boots if you don’t have your own. Would defo recommend.

Very good leisure centre in Dundonald. It has an ice rink, gym, escape room, 20 lane ten pin bowling alley, children's adventure play area and cash machine. There's a good cafe with hot food, donuts, cakes, ice-cream, smoothies, tea and coffee. Plenty of free parking. It's close to a cinema, if you want a good day out for the family.
